I miss the Apfel Haus being open and this past Summer while working I encountered Breadsmith at the Farmers Market at Weiss. I purchased a loaf of multi grain, a sourdough, and an apple pie loaf. Well, the first two were delicious and are long gone, but this morning I cut into my apple pie loaf... Yuuummmm! :) Good thing I work corp events at the Q Center (in St.Charles) from time to time; I have an excuse to make the drive, haha!! ^_^ I live off I57 in Chicago, near Cal Park, Blue Island + Tinley Park.

The product is great. However, they pulled their bread from my favorite small local business in Wheaton in favor of supplying the larger chain store nearby. I cannot support that. How can a small business screw over another small business like that? No thanks.

Great product..poooooor...poor poor customer svc...never told me my special order (ordered Tues for Fri pick up) wouldnt be ready until 2 pm...I show up at 9 am..no bread, no apology..

The baked goods are different but traditional... Its a blend of the best of both worlds, I love when a co worker brings a big variety bag once a week. I try something new each time
