Charges at least 40p more than price tickets he has on display - when you challenge him over the total cost he refunds the money without even checking or disputing so he knows fine well what he is doing. Prices at best are ridiculously high compared to similar type of shops in the area - newsagent across the road sells clipper lighters for £1 this place sells them for £1.49. Massively disappointing to be overcharged repeatedly and to be paying over the odds for items. I was a regular but the third time I noticed he overcharged yet again (I was in every morning buying the same lunch for weeks before I noticed when I was skint and added it up myself to make sure I had enough - he wanted an extra £2 I had to say no thats 70p not £1.10, 2 for £1 not 69p each blah blah) I decided I wouldnt go back - I strongly recommend he reins in his greed or gets a better supplier. I intend on contacting the council regarding the overcharging on the items that are clearly priced and finding out what organisation I would report this to as I strongly feel that this is just plain theft.

Use to love coming to this place for morning coffee. The first shift clerk, whos been working there for a long time, turned this establishment into an "everyone knows your name" kind of place. Its not the most ideal convenient store, however his personality brought customers in. Second shift clerk didnt work out so Owner, without any care for his employees bumped the first shift clerk to second. Now most regulars dont go anymore. If you have a dedicated employee its important to treat them right!!. Not this owner. Its a shame. He will lose business, unfortunately, due to poor management.
