Little Korean place in the SOFA area of San Jose. It was in a food court area with a very clean modern feel and tons of other options. We werent hungry enough for a full meal so we tried some of their buns. We had the chicken and short rib buns and they were incredible. We were shocked by how much flavor they had packed into these little appetizers! We were still talking about it an hour later. Definitely planning on going back and trying the rest of the menu.

The broth had no flavor, the noodles where very heavy and tasted as though they had been cooked hours ago. The pork is just a chunk of fat which tastes of nothing and is not pleasant to eat. I will definitely say its the worst ramen Ive ever had. Ive traveled all over Japan and I have tried every ramen dish going... This is not good ramen. Avoid at all costs. Im sad I wasted money eating here.

Not bad. The first bowl of ramen Ive ever had that I wasnt extremely disappointed by. It didnt knock my socks off either, but at the end of the day Id say its pretty good. I went with the "Spicy coconut" plus pork belly. Vanilla bowl included scallions, browned onions, mushrooms, two soft boiled egg halves, and naturally noodles. I came hungry and left full. $26 out the door with a beer.

Experienced ramen eater here. Ate here about 5 times, and thought the broth was very flavorful and overall very good. Today however, there was a huge piece of pork fat cleanly sliced in my tonkatsu ramen. I asked about it and they said "oh yeah thats pork belly, and its supposed to be like that" This is total B.S. btw. I will not be going back.

This is an ok Japanese place with an ever-changing menu located in Sofa Market. They try to put twists on "classics" such as my pork bun that came out looking like a taco, but did taste decent. Very fatty cuts of meat. Not somewhere I would try hard to come back to unless I saw something particularly good come up on the menu.

The TONKOTSU SHOYU RAMEN was super yummy - the noodles were cooked perfectly and the pork belly was flavorful, tender, and did not have an abundance of fat - perfect. The broth was a bit salty for my taste but Im guessing that it is just about right for most. The egg was perfectly cooked and oh so good. Im going back - soon.

Ooh, mommy, that umami! They seem to be going after the "umami" taste, and have succeeded. This is the "hearty, meaty" flavor, that you find in shiitake mushrooms, for instance. Its a little bit expensive, and the servings are not huge, but just right. They serve beers too, so have a Sculpin while you wait, and enjoy.

I arrived at 9:15 PM but the business said the group in front of me was the last group to be served. They had 5 people in their group and according to Yelp and Google this place closes at 10 PM. Someone should probably change the business hours since this place seems to close earlier than advertised.

The only reason I ate here is because it served ramen in the small plaza here. Ive tried it twice, the first time was decent, but the second time was disappointing. The soup was too salty, and I did not have a good time eating it (didnt finish it either). Definitely not worth the price.

I really like their spin on ramen, I did not like that they stopped serving the full ramen menu during the evening. Every kind of their ramen was pretty good. However their non-ramen menu options are a hit or a miss. Still this is one of my favorite ramen places next to orenchi ramen!

I travel to Japan for work and have had my fair share of Ramen. Honestly, this place has the best Ramen Ive ever eaten. The spicy coconut Ramen is really amazing. The pork belly is always melt in your mouth tender, the broth is very flavorful, everything is wonderful.

Tonkotsu ramen is very rich and creamy. It could be a tad more flavorful. Nevertheless, very decent ramen for a marketplace ramen bar. Try one of their unique IPAs. Note: Alcohol must be consumed at the bar.

I love ramen and go to many places. This places excels in flavor. Broth is very rich and savory. I highly recommend the spicy coconut ramen or miso pork. Fair warning though, both have an underlying spicy taste.

No vegetarian options, everything has pork by default, only meat substitution is fried chicken. Ramen was good, service mediocre, food court was bleh.
