Love love love Little Goan. Im recently back from living two months in India, and this is the best Indian Ive had back in the states since. Super authentic. Food has a home-cooked feel, in all the best ways. Awesome to-go choices. Lots of organic and natural food. Their veg dishes are phenomenal: * Saag paneer - awesome spinach and paneer, super balanced and not too rich * Bhaigan barta - wonderful subtle smoked eggplant without being too sweet * veg korma - well balanced and satiating * muttar paneer - delicious tomato based peas and paneer * mulligatawny soup - soul satisfying They have jeera rice (cumin rice) and even gluten free naan - which was tasty too. Dont go expecting much decor. Its authentic Indian after all. The heart is in the food. And theyve started a lunch buffet soon if thats your thing. Support this great new addition to Novato. Youll be glad you did.

More reasonable prices than other Indian restaurants in Marin. The chicken tikka masala was on the creamier, sweeter side (I was not given the option for medium or spicy). The chicken was on the tougher side - it was alright. The garlic naan was great, along with the white rice. Although I ordered takeout, the brief service was good. The place could have better decor. Overall, the price matches the quality of the food.

Delicious food and the staff are genuinely warm and friendly. They have a few gluten free and vegan options which is wonderful. My only complaint after frequenting this place many times: the food is extremely salty. Usually we order take out and the last couple times the lentil dish was so salty, that I added water to mine to dilute it. The gluten free Naan is awesomeness, 2 orders are never enough!

So much for "Goan" in their name, they dont seem to know what Solkadhi is. I personally found the food very mediocre by Indian standards - at least as far as vegetarian fare is considered. I did enjoy the cashew gravy (that was used in multiple different dishes) though, but not enough to make me want to go back for that one item.

The food and service was outstanding. I went with my family for a lazy Sunday lunch and we all enjoyed our dishes and shared with each other. The prices are very reasonable considering the amount of work that goes into preparing the food. It was a nice atmosphere and very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend it.

Little Goan Cafe is the Indian restaurant to go to when in Novato! Ive only ever ordered take-out, but the staff are always friendly and the food has always been prepared on time. I appreciate the fact that you can order organic chicken and brown rice. I recommend their Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naan!

Friends recommended to try Little Goan Rest. Were 7 friends, and all of us happy to recited to taste different foods and learn more about Indian culture. The little dishes we ordered were all delicious, tasty and colorful. Very impressed by it. Great price which it made us happy too.

Pretty good Indian food at a reasonable price for the area. Definitely Americanized in terms of spiciness, the "spicy" vindaloo was delicious but very mild for my taste. Excellent garlic naan and the sweet lassi was very good as well. The staff was friendly but service was slow.

Its 100% customized for American population.We find less and mild Indian flavors. Tried chicken biriyani, lot of white rice lumps. With raisins I would say its Kashmiri pulov. Oh no still nuts are missing
