Very disappointing! If I could give zero stars, I would. No real Shanghai items on the menu, all "American Style Chinese" food. The oil used to cook the dumplings tasted old, even though the waitress denied it. The other items we ordered were just as bad. The fried noodles were chewy and tough, and the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. There are so many better Chinese restaurants in Orange County, like Sam Woo or J. Zhou. Dont waste you time our money. ETA : Just wanted to add that my wife is Chinese, and has run a restaurant in her past, so we do know what we are talking about

This is your standard old-school american chinese restaurant, complete with the chinese zodiac placemats in the booths, and the pre-brewed hot tea with crunchy noodles and sweet and sour sauce served when you arrive. Staff is friendly and the food is decent. The interior is a little dingy but it has that "real thing" feel to it, probably looking exactly the same as it did 20 years ago or more. Would recommend if you are looking for chinese that is a step up from the hole-in-the-wall fast food type of chinese, but not the P.F. Changs or other fancy chinese restaurant formality.

I read the reviews and saw the 4.2 stars so I decided to order. I honestly dont know how this place got 4 stars... The food is blah and the chicken was DRY!!! I ordered chicken and broccoli and there wasnt even any sauce on it... Just chicken, broccoli and carrots... Very very strange.. And the potstickers were pork when the website said chicken.. And they were so badly burnt I couldnt even eat them I just threw them in the trash... AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE ITS NOT WORTH THE WAIT OR THE MONEY!!!

Free DELIVERY! Also they have great duck with mosin sauce it a delicious! They also have amazing orange chicken along with hard chow mien. The people there just also recently got a really nice English speaker for over the phone deliveries, if you are look for Chinese in O.C. this is one of the top 5!! :D

Called in for Take-out for the Lunch Special Chicken Chow Mein. Went to pick up my order, the restaurant was packed but was given my food in a timely manner. The Chicken Chow Mein was delicious and was the right amount of food. I just didnt like how the fortune cookie was inside with my food.

They were so kind when picking up my order. The woman smiled and greeted me. She checked on me and the food. They up dated me on the food. They double checked and made sure they had it all correct before letting it out the door.

I usually come to this place at least a couple times a week. Their lunch and early bird dinner specials are very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is outdated but personally, I couldnt care less.
