Ex-server here. Had a party of 8 (4 adults, one 12yr, one 10yr, one 6 yr and one 1 yr.) 6 adults was an automatic 10% gratuity. They charged me my 12 yr and my 10 yr as adults so they could get the automatic gratuity. I can understand the 12 yr but not the 10yr. I know they count kids up to 12yr My sister has taken just them with her before and got them charged as kids. The edited the check to say kids meal 4_9. Staff was inattentive, rushing people and mixing drink orders up. I ordered 3 sprite she asked what was sprite and i replied lemon lime soda pop. She gave me 3 lemonades and two sprites i asked for 3 kids drinks she gives me two (my 6yr and my 10yr)Food was decent and there was a wide variety of it, and that is about the only positive thing. When i went to pay the cashier was on the phone holding a private conversation and ignoring me until he was done. Bathrooms were clean...ish. They were semi clean and smelled clean but were really dingy and grimy looking.

Wide variety of foods. From soups to salads and tons of dinner choices. The crab Rangoons are my favorite. They are always fresh and go quickly. Every week there is always one for two different dishes than the usual choices. Kinda like a weekly special. Parking is able to hold a super duty and a long trailer and still have space for tons of other vehicles. Very easy to find and get into. The hot and spicy soup holds to its name which I would recommend during winter. It warms you inside and out. Egg drop soup is delish. B

Been there a few times on Sunday evenings around 7-8 pm. Food is often dried out, not stocked, etc. Seems as they get towards close, they do not put out fresh food. Last Sunday, got there 2 hours before close. The soft-serve machine was already being closed down and cleaned. Several items were empty. Others were dried from being out too long. Sadly, it is the only place in Rice Lake like it. Go at your own risk, but go earlier in the day.

Food was horrible when i first moved to rice lake a few years ago. Tasted good but sick right after. But with in the last year or so they have gotten better, havent gotten sick in a long time. food has been monitored a bit better. Servers are okay, some are more attentive than others. My husband has been going there for years so they know where he likes to sit. Price is fair. But food has gotten better. No issues with extra charges ever

Excellent Buffet. A shame their rating here is only 3.7. Everything is very good. Im 41 years old and a fan of buffets and this may be my favorite in 41 years. Good salad bar (very good for chinese buffet), excellent main dishes (most of the time they even have great legit hot wings, most of the time), and the desert bar is above average with warm apple pie-type thing and a quality ice cream machine.

I myself, find the restaurant exceptionally well maintained. The food is delicious and filling, with a large variety of choices to partake in. Yes sometimes somethings seem off but no one is perfect. The atmosphere is amazing, with nice soothing music in the background with beautiful decor. to me it was a great experience and i cant wait to come back.

The food is hit or miss, but much more hit lately it seems. The place stays clean for the most part when they arent swamped and staff seem to try to work well with the customers, though at times the language barrier is obvious. I would like to rate five stars, but theres too much inconsistency and a few astetic problems that should be addressed first.

Not going to lie, every single time I go to Rice Lake I have to stop here. This is my favorite restaurant. It honestly is good, the customer service is good, sometimes its busy, but that is normal for a good business. I love the Creamy Coconut Shrimp and the Stuffed Mushrooms the most! Amazing! Great place to go and not to costy!

This a great place to eat. The food is always fresh and tasty. There are 4 islands of food to pick from. They also have a few american foods on the buffet like pizza and the salad bar for those that have children who dont like Chinese food. They are reasonablly priced and they have a special Sunday menue that includes crab legs.

I usually like this place. On this visit I came in about an hour before closing. Food choices were limited and not being refilled. Food was being taken off the bar while people were still eating. Staff seemed more interested in pre-close cleaning than customers still in restaurant. Very disappointed on this visit.

Used to be good years ago but lately not worth it. Went back because a friend had said theyd improved, which they have but its still not that great. Obvious lack of reinvestment in the dining area makes me suspicious of the same in the kitchen. Food quality is mediocre at best.

My favorite restaurant in rice lake!! Love there coconut shrimp and the hubby loves to pile his plate high with various chicken wings! Only like 20 bucks for 2 ppl on a week day! We spend more then that just going through the taco johns drive through

Food tastes ok for a buffet but it doesnt matter the day you go its always the same food every day. 3 buffet bars, first a salad, fruit, dessert bar. Second is appetizers and kids food (cheese pizza). Last is entree and soup. Always the same.

Good is good but the place needs a serious cleaning. If the window sils are dusty and full of spiders nesting and flies buzzing around it scares me to think what the kitchen needs in the area of a good cleaning.

My husband and I have eaten at many buffets near and far from rice lake and lake buffet is far better food taste ,selection, service,than other places weve gone to. We would recommend it to anyone.

Food was cold or lukewarm at best. Not a very large selection to choose from. Boyfriend and I both got sick after we left the buffet. Definitely do not recommend to anyone.

Its not that bad , but the waiter dont want to give my fiance a glass of water but we ask him for 3 times so far food is bot that bad
