My family and I ate at this restaurant on Tuesday, June 28th. It was absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever eaten in. I ordered the spicy noodle with pork. What I had placed before me was a dish that looked like linguine noodles in a tomato sauce with pork, carrots and cabbage. The dish was sweet and not spicy a all. Now my friend owns a thai restaurant in North Carolina, and i have eaten at many other thai estaurants outside of the state and none of the spicy moodle dishes tasted or looked like what i had at Siamville. I was expecting rice noodles instead of linguine noodles. I was expecting fish sauce with thai chili peppers. My husband was also disappointed with the pork yellow curry. My husband and i felt that the pork in our dishes tasted old and was over cooked. My son was fine with the curry fried rice. And then there were the condiment or sauce containers. They were absolutely filthy and sticky with sauces running down the sides. I didnt even want to touch them without a napkin. When I showed them to my server, she said, "we wipe them once a week." I told her the containers should be wiped after every patron leaves the table. Really, if I could give no stars, I would. I definitely would never return to this restaurant or recommend it. Usually when you find a "hole in the wall" restaurant the food is great. I was neither impressed with the food or the decor of the place. It was dark, as if they were trying to hide the filth. That should have been the clue to walk out the door.

I use to spend at least 50 dolllars a week , ating during my lunch. I really loved it. But i really think its time to do a deep cleaning in that place. Last time i order there i found a bug in my food. When i took it back , i told the lady that there was a bug in my food. She took the container to the back and came back with a smile on her face like "omg it was a big bug." not once apologize. And all she said was. What do you want me to do.. All i saud was ( my money ) back. Never again will i eat there. She actually thought it was funny. So disappointed

Its as if they get it just good enough to please enough people who look past the actual quality. In-restaurant = large portions plated much more accurately. Carry-out = pitiful portion and even more pitiful taste. Either way = wet dog is the overall taste for noodle and rice dishes. Curry and rangoons are the only safe dishes Ive found since theyve opened. Fyi: the "seafood combo" includes tiny full squid, shrimp with poop shoot intact, and undercooked tiny scallops. (Multiple experiences with this, yuck)

So sometimes the service is kinda meh. But the food, though. Holy shitake mushrooms- the food. SO GOOD. Especially the pumpkin curry. I hate the idea of pumpkin anything during the fall season, but this is the one & only exception. I will gladly stuff myself into some yoga pants & Uggs boots with my vanilla mocha half caff no foam latte & saunter into Siamville for their delicious pumpkin curry. I mean, I literally cant even. I digress. Eat here. All the time. Their food is friggin good.

Ive been here twice. Its tucked away for a reason. If everyone knew about it, there would be a shortage of food. I went back a second time for the prices, friendliness and of course, the food. The staff almost seems happier than me when my food comes out. Its awesome. I love tofu and their tofu is the best Ive ever had. Ive had a lot of Thai.. no place has had the price and quality at what I would consider a perfect 10. Im making it my Friday night dinner. I could never get sick of it!!

Good Thai restaurant. I tried the Spicy Crab Rangoon and it was delicious. They serve 5 Rangoons stuffed with a sauce that reminded me of spicy mayo from sushi places. For entree I ordered the stir fry before veggies with beef as meat, and while it was yummy, make no mistake, the portion size was slightly less than expected. Nonetheless, good food, with level 4 out of 5 being spicy enough for a spice loving Indian foodie

Im not sure why some reviews say the service is slow. I thought it was excellent. We ordered appetizers that were there quick and same with the entrees. There were only two waitresses working, but its not a very big restaurant. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao which read very spicy but great! It tells you its spicy on the menu, so thats not a complaint :) the portion was huge too! I will be returning!

While I am not an expert in Thai cuisine by any means, this place has great food! I am a big fan of spicy food so this place is even better for me, but I even took some friends there that arent huge fans of spicy, and they still found dishes that were excellent! The service is very good! I tried another Thai place in town, but this place has way better service and food.

Food is always excellent, servers are efficient. The best Thai food in the Cedar Rapids area. Unlike some other local Thai restaurants when you order spicy food, you get spicy food. The last time I went to one of their competitors (and it will be the last time!) the food was bland and was not spicy as ordered. Siamville gets my vote as number one in the area!

The food here is awesome.Just Make sure you dont have to be anywhere if you go to sit down. the service is SLOW, usually one waitress and the owner(? who doesnt help) on the floor. If they got a sign people might know that this place exists and has the BEST curry around. and great crab rangoon among other things. Carry out is an option too! TRY IT! RECOMMEND!

So good this is my favorite restaurant in town. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because they are unexpectadly closed often outside of their regular hours and dates and I dont live super close so it is frustrating if closing is not listed on their website and I drive all the way there and find them closed.

Best Thai in Eastern Iowa and the most underrated restaurant in Cedar Rapids. Wonderful ambiance at a very reasonable price. Never once been disappointed. Highlights are the Pad See Ew, Pad Pra Ram, Masman curry, and Thai pumpkin curry (October-November). Their thai iced tea is also great with any meal.

The food is excellent. The service can be a bit slow, but its worth the wait. Food, drinks, and dessert are all very good, and serving sizes are generous. The Crab Rangoon is as good as any Ive ever tasted. The servers are good at explaining dishes and making recommendations if asked.

Their Pad Thai is pretty good, as is their Peanut Curry (all their curries are good). There service is much to be desired, dont go expecting great service. The staff clearly hasnt worked However that is all made up for by the food. The food is terrific. Prices are reasonable too...
