Normally a favorite place to get lunch at and all the guys working there are great (never seen any women working there but Im sure they are all great too), but today it was the absolute worst experience and all due to one employee. The Asian guy on the grill/register was an idiot or maybe stoned because I cannot justify his actions any other way. While waiting in line behind another guy who clearly had been waiting for a few minutes already, I watched as the employee finished cleaning off the grill (OK, makes sense, needs to be done) and then he came up and took part of the guys order then without taking payment he abruptly left behind the counter to check something at the soda machine, then headed downstairs without a word to apparently grab cups for up at the register (nothing to do with the soda machine). He then took the rest of the guys order, which at this point four more people had walked in and were in line waiting. Roughly took about 10 minutes to order when there was only one guy in line in front of me, whats wrong with that? On a 30 minute lunch break, timeliness matters and is usually not an issue with going to Pita Pit, a roughly 2 minute walk from work. When it was finally time for me to order, I had a Hooked coupon for a free cookie that I wanted to use and presented to him. Then expecting a cookie to be given to me as its not like I could get it myself given the enclosed case, I tried asking about receiving said cookie and he clearly did not understand. So I walked away to the line around the counter, expecting it to come up later and he then called me back and still not getting it that I was asking about getting the actual cookie, I ended up just getting in line again. At this point I was agitated at his idiocy and he even asked me later on what cookie I wanted but never gave it to me. All in all, I left there agitated, cookie-less (not that it really mattered), and out of time to eat said lunch. Just a horrible experience all in all because of this one employee who couldnt manage to do their job at a base level.

The food was decent, but the service was pretty poor. Two employees ignored us for the first few minutes we were there. Then they mumbled through taking our orders, refused to make eye contact, shuffled through making our pitas, and then headed downstairs, never coming back up. Another customer walked in, looked around, waited for a few minutes, and eventually left. Very unimpressed.

I ordered ONE sandwich for delivery. An hour went by so I called them. They told me that the delivery person came to the apartment and couldnt reach me. keep in mind Im at work and theyve delivered here before. I gave them the exact address and they so called went to an apartment complex. I called them to cancel the order and immediately called Jimmy Johns. They got here in 5min.

Avoid at ALL cost. Ive gone twice (my mistake) and regretted it... and I LOVE falafel. The management was cool with fixing employees mistakes--plus one star! However, employees have always been god awful. Poor service and sophomoric attitudes. Management: please take more care with hiring. I dont think any amount of training would help.

I think this place is an awesome value. I ate a delicious pita for a great price. The lady that took my order also made my food and she was very nice. The hours are awesome too.
