This is my second time dining with Crazy Italians. The first time I dined inside of the restaurant and the second time I took my meals to go. I can say that the restaurant is clean and that the staff was nice. On this go around I had the Lasagna and Chicken Marsala. The Lasagna is amazing and I will definitely be a repeat customer because of it. The Chicken Marsala was not my favorite rendition of this dish. The chicken was tender and juicy but the sauce was very bland and not complimentary of any Chicken Marsala that I have ever tasted. The portions also are not stellar. For the pricing you would think that you would receive more food. The salad that came with the Chicken Marsala also was pretty awkward. Greens with a mound of shredded carrots. This vinaigrette was tasty though. I would recommend people simply for the lasagna but I cannot say that I would be returning anytime soon due to the pricing not being reasonable for the food portions.

The young man at the counter last night spent the whole time texting and looking at his phone and not helping us even though I said it was our first time. I had a 2 year old to feed and asked if I could get the chicken and some pasta in the side for her..I was charged for two kids meals and the chicken was inedible..most places will give you a small portion a LA carte.way over priced for what was on the childs plate..nothing came with the chicken breast but the chicken and 3 carrots. .we had to order bread separately as it did not come with out meal ...never have i had to order bread with an Italian meal..and the plates lacked any kind of presentation..our food came out at separate times ..VERY DISAPPOINTED VERY HIGHLY PRICED AND WILL NOT RETURN.. and my family is Italian. .we had such high hopes!!

The food was gross. I ordered Chicken Marsala and received a plate with shaved chicken breast, coated in a white cream sauce and no mushrooms? I tasted the sauce and it tasted like flour, it was awful. Chicken Marsala is made with Marsala Wine and Mushrooms, always.....even in Italy. The salad was a small portion of greens, with a large pile of shredded carrots. The only salad dressing available, is a small container of olive oil, with some specs of Parsley or something in it? The bread was cold, dense and seemed to be straight from Walmart. The chicken was inedible and I returned the dish and left. The Management was kind and offered a different dish, but I was not willing to try anything else. He did refund my money.

Horrible food. Horrible service. If I could give it zero stars it would be better. Grossest chicken Marsala ever on the face of the planet. Not even close to Authentic Italian. If I wanted unbreaded chicken nuggets, Id make them myself at home. Guys behind the counter were on their phones and not paying attention to their customers. Had to get up and walk to the window to ask for more spaghetti cheese. Definitely wouldnt suggest to anybody.

I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan for $8 and was given three tiny pieces of eggplant with some sauce. Normally you would expect at least some pasta or a lot more eggplant. We took it up to the counter and it took some convincing to get the guy to just get me eggplant with pasta and charge the difference. Dont order the eggplant Parmesan unless you want to be ripped off. After finally getting a decent sized meal, it tasted pretty good.

The food was fantastic. Very well done. The young man at the counter needs some work. I think he takes his situation a bit for granted. As far as italian, it is about the best in town. It is not like pete and sams (which has its own sort of awesomeness) or any other place around here. It is just food done well. No romantic vibe...just good food. Only other issue might be the music....it is a bit agressive for a small restaurant...

If you live in the Memphis area and have not been to the Crazy Italian, then you are depriving your taste-buds of an amazing experience. The passion that Giampaolo and his staff have for their work is evident in their food, service and dining experience. Ive visited three times now, and have been blown away by the amazingly good food.

Weve eaten there twice now and I have been impressed each time. You can bring your own wine with no cork fee, so its perfect for a date or girls night out. The food is fresh and authentic with high quality ingredients. They grow pots of basil right in front. An eclectic gem in chain-restaurant infested Cordova.

The worst dinning experience in years!!! The lasagna was recommend by the host/server and was served cold. My wife didnt like the lasagna at all. When the server came back 15 minutes after serving I told him that it was terrible. He said that he was sorry and hoped that we would have a nice evening.

I usually do not post at all. However, this place was absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! I took MeMy CrazykidzNi for bes-ghetti, as my five year old calls it, for his birthday wishes... I will be back! Great location and very polite staff and GREAT bes-ghetti to!!! :)

Yummy authentic Italian food. I have spent a lot of time in Italy in the past and this is exactly like the food I remember. Casual and warm ambiance and great service. Its also nice that you can bring your own wine and there is no uncorking fee.
