If youre on the job hunt, and thinking about applying here, save yourself the trouble and SKIP Bonfyre. 12 people dont quit in a span of a few months because thins are going well. I worked here for a year and a few months. The Food is great, its a beautiful restaurants, and majority of the staff is fantastic, except for the management. They have one good manager named Athena. The management is poor. There is sexual harassment, And it is a hostile work environment, where you get treated poorly, yelled at and even cussed at often. There are "favorites" who get away with doing whatever they want. The favorites get the best sections, get assigned the special events, and large parties constantly, So that they are constantly making great money, while everyone else is never considered. One of the managers is extremely sexually harassing ( and if complained about, even multiple times, nothing EVER happens) along with unprofessional. He drinks on the job and I even overheard a female server say that he offered her cocaine once during a shift! He also left me outside by myself at 4 months pregnant in the dark, after a closing shift, because he wanted to go home and my ride was " taking too long". If youre lucky, and he doesnt like you, he wont touch you or invade your personally space, (like those he does like) but instead he will purposefully try to make you upset and push your buttons throughout your shift, and most likely treat you unfairly, by giving you extra side work, a crap section, not allowing you to take a table or by not cutting you and keeping you on the floor when youre not needed. The owner/manager/operation partner is actually a really great guy OUTSIDE of work. But if working with him, be prepared to be micromanaged, yelled at, and treated with an attitude like "nothing you do is good enough". Your tables will never be clean enough. You wont ever be fast enough, you wont buss your tables fast enough, you wont run food enough, your table wasnt greeted fast enough, the list goes on and on and on. Bonfrye is also not a corporate restaurant, so if you get tired enough of the issues and problems going on. You can sit down with management or write an email to management which will be discussed or read, but never fixed. You can rest assured no actions will be taken to resolve your grievance. No reprimands, discussion, no investigations, NOTHING. I wrote 4 emails about concerns and issues within my year and a half, and nothing ever happened to correct the problems. And when you get angry and frustrated because of this, there is no one else higher up to speak to unless you want to track down their numbers and talk to one of the investors. If you still decide to work here after reading this and get hired, do NOT put you have an " open availability" or they will schedule you double shifts 4 days in a row along with other single day or night shifts. And if you happen to call in because something comes up because youre sick or your car isnt working or your kid is sick, ect. Be prepared to bring "proof" or treated with hostility the next shift you work. All in all, if you like being treated poorly, sexually harassed, being treated unfair, made to think you never good enough, and not valued as an employee, work here! If you have any respect for yourself and dont put up with things like I have mentioned, run very, very, far away from a job oppurtunity with Bonfyre American Grille.

Had 7:00 reservations for four and were seated when we arrived. We got an order of crab cakes appetizer with drinks. Cakes were the size of two Oreos and some lettuce along side. I guess the appetizers are not to be shared. I ordered a full rack of baby back ribs $29. The waitress came back and said they were out of ribs. I asked about the regular ribs with chicken. Nope, no ribs at all left. Monday night at 7. I decided on the 6 oz Filet Mignon. I was kinda hoping they would find the nicest one since I was set on ribs. Not even close, it was literally the size of a deck of cards and the same thickness half an inch. I had ask if there was a mistake and they gave me sirloin by accident. Sorry but $32 for this tough piece of meat was a total rip. There is no ambiance or service that makes up for this. If you order drinks, Id recommend beer or wine because the whiskey and coke was as disappointing as the filet. First and last visit. Stick with the Avenue on East Wash.

My spouse and I went to Bonfyre for restaurant week since we had a certificate to use for restaurant week. We expected people to be tired and cranky as we can understand that the food business is a tough industry, especially for everyone involved with restaurant week. I have to say we had the best server weve had in a very long time. His name is Alan K. Even though it was crazy busy, Alan was full of energy, genuine, attentive and easy to talk to. We were waiting around a long time to get our dinner, even for it being restaurant week. Alan was so good that we didnt get upset about waiting. The food we had was decent. The fries and the mini deserts are a must and we suggest having those together! I hope we can come and visit Alan again next time we head out to Bonfyre! Even if you dont get Alan as your server, their food is delicious. I personally suggest the lobster ravioli.

High quality food, beautiful decor, and friendly service are undermined by high prices, obnoxious music/tvs, and deceptive billing. I ordered the Fish Tacos for $15. They are shown under the Sandwich section. The section is subtitled "Served with your choice of side". I asked for a side of Guacamole and Chips. Tacos are good. Small dish of guacamole is ok. I receive the bill and notice that the chips are charged separately at $5. I ask the waitress. She says that the side for the Fish Tacos is the salsa included with the tacos. Note that said salsa consisted of a pile of greens topped with beans—no sauce in that salsa. If they lowered their prices 20%, got rid of the tvs, and fixed their menu/policies, this place would seriously be great. As is, stay away!

We came to Verona for Epic training about two years ago and this place was exceptionally good. This time the food was horrible, and the service was even worse, and even the bar drinks were bad! Something must have changed because nothing was even close to the quality the last time we came. We waited for 30 minutes to get the first round of drinks, and easily waited over an hour for our food. Its unfortunate because we enjoyed it the first time. This said the drive is moderately love to get here from the hotels in Verona, and with the experience we had this time, I dont think well be back ever again.

Decided to check out Bonfyre for the first time recently with the family. My mother spoke highly of it, so we were all pretty excited. Drinks were good and drink selection was good, but thats where the good ended. I had the walleye, which was bland, boring, and full of bones. My girlfriend also had the walleye, and found hers equally lacking, but she was fortunate enough to not have gotten bones. The rosemary potatoes were overcooked and as bland as the fish. Our waitress wasnt bad, but she was pretty unenthusiastic and not very welcoming. We will not be returning to Bonfyre.
