Rude, sarcastic,....dirty, the 15 ft leading uo to the restrooms smells of old urine. The surfaces of everything from the floors to the walls and tables are never cleaned. This place could use a deep cleaning...its pretty gross. I asked for a table near the window to keep an eye on my truck...I had tools in the back. I counted 5 open tables. The manager refused. I simply said its fine we can go.It really wasnt a big deal there are plenty of places to eat. Considering the disgusting environment it was just enough to change my mind. She then insisted we sit at one of the open tables, so we agreed...as that was the tipping issue. Once seated the waitress sarcastically offered me a lair of binoculars as she nearly pushed me out of my chair with an unwelcome arm shove, as if her jokes were so welcome...So I left and wont return. Fact is your restraunt is filthy and my 20$ chump change lunch is worth tbe thousands of dollars of tools. I simply asked to be accommodated....no was a perfectly fine answer....it was clear I would be getting the retaliation service as the manager also suggested they might forget about me in the"closed" area...even if the closest patrons were 10ft away and you had to pass my table to serve them.....How pitifully unprofessional...and disgusting this place has become....I think the health dept needs to make a visit and find out just how clean this place is....Olive Garden execs would feel shamed at this poor representation of their hard work.

When Olive Garden opened in Yakima, I believe it was the first one to do so in Eastern Washington. It got a lot of attention for that alone, and I know I was not the only one who traveled over 75 miles to try this Italian restaurant. It was really good, and my family and I would go there at least once a month, I felt it was worth the trip. After a year, I noticed that the quality of the food seemed to drop significantly, and I thought maybe it was my own taste buds. It lacked flavor, servings seemed smaller, maybe it was just me. Then an Olive Garden opened in the Tri-Cities. It was the same as it was when the Yakima restaurant opened. A year later, the Tri-Cities restaurant suffered. I dont know if its true, but it seems when restaurants make a grand opening, they put their "A-game" dishes on the menu. Once theyre established, the A-game is removed and diners get a taste of the subsidiary dishes. Its subpar, and not as good as other Italian restaurants. I will say that the service at the Yakima Olive Garden has always been good. It was clean, from the entrance to the restrooms, and as the city spruces up the downtown area, it is in the perfect location. But quality wise and flavor, youd be better off going somewhere else, even if it means spending a little more. The food tasted microwaved, so I havent returned there since.

Food was delicious and service was excellent! We got the By One Take One deal where you enjoy one meal there and take another to go, with salad and bread sticks. I wanted a wine but wasnt sure which one so our server was so kind in helping me find the right one, giving me tastes of a few till I found it. Granted I am a bread lover but I could eat those bread sticks all day, the Italian salad was just as good! Pasta was scrumptious as well, and every server that came to our table was so friendly, professional and eager to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our experience. Since being in town wed been kind of avoiding Olive Garden as we thought it was pricey but it actually wasnt bad especially for what we got. I was so impressed with the service I actually called the manager to let them know how I felt the staff were doing. Loved our date night there but it can be good for groups as well.

Our waitress was a joke. She was rude to the point that my husband could tell she had a problem with me and at the end of everything when she was boxing our food, she was beating our spaghetti to death with a fork and slamming the eating utensils down. Literally, there was flavorless pasta and sauce flying everywhere. She made fools of herself and the restaurant. I seriously would have been better off going to a taco truck and most likely would have gotten better service and flavorful food. Visited 07/11/17. Side note: still gave her an undeserved tip just because were decent human beings.

I guess well have to stick with the Red Lobster from now on. The light lunch seemed OK but I was surprised when the waitress insisted that my meal didnt come with a salad even though the menu plainly said otherwise. I wouldnt have written a review except that I got a severe case of the trots a few hours later. My wife is OK, so its my guess that it was from the Italian lager that I had. Oh well, sadly its the last time we will eat at that location. I feel sorrow for the mgr; I see no future for the restaurant. Hes got a tough job. I wish him the best of luck.

Been a year or so since my last visit, this visit was unbearable. Party of 7 and 2 toddlers. Complimentary breadsticks of inconsistent quality, no marinara sauce unless you pay 3.75 for a 4 oz platter. Inconsistent soup bowls; salty, not salty, salty, not salty. Inconsistent salad; salty, not salty, etc. Need I mention the total, 160 dollars and 18 % gratuity requested. Meagan and Matt were sub par servers, you can never really overlook a server thats says "whoops". Tis my last visit ever to an olive garden. Good location though.

Went there with the family a while back and ordered the ALL YOU CAN EAT soup, salad, and breadsticks option. Salad and breadsticks were typical OG. The waitstaff seemed a little flustered running back and forth in the half empty restaurant. When the poor excuse for a waitress shows up with our check and asks if she can get us anything else I asked when she was going to get around to bringing the soup. A few minutes later she brings it out to me IN A TO GO CUP!!! HAVE NOT A WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!

I was satisfied with the food and service but the restaurant seemed dated to me. It could use a once over with a sponge, paint and new tables. The table I sat at had chairs with an 90s print and they were on wheels. It reminded me of a chair from the library in my youth, or an office chair of some sort. The décor was dated and the restaurant seemed a bit faded. One stall in the bathroom didnt even have a door.

I have never been a big fan of the Italian inspired food at this restaurant chain. I have to admit the salads, breads and soups are great. We visit this restaurant maybe 4 to 5 times a year. The one thing, I am a big fan of here is the service. I have never been ignored or not properly waited regardless of how busy it was inside. That is the only reason I agree to go back. I have hope that the menu will improve.

Slow to get seated, even when the restaurant is half empty. I dont know why they are always empty looking, but they act like they there is nowhere to sit and you end up waiting for no reason. Slow to get food as well. Food was to be expected from Olive Garden. If your in Yakima and in a hurry, or just dont like to wait, make another choice.
