The workers were nice so I hate to do this but my wife and I agreed this was the worst sushi weve ever had in our lives. Weve been to several sushi places of all varieties across Japan, Canada, and the US and we can say confidently that this is not authentic, the food is of poor quality, and its allowed to sit on the belt for too long. I dont think were snobs about it either - we just know the difference between a good conveyor belt sushi place and a bad one. Marinepolis Sushi Land would be a good alternative for more authentic sushi with better quality. There are several other Americanized sushi places that we would choose over Sushi Connections. There were so many plates on the belt but we found ourselves passing over almost all of them since they looked like they were on there too long or were poor quality cuts of fish. The calamari we ordered tasted like it was fried in poor quality oil and had poor flavor. My wife suspected that the katsu bento box included old katsu picked up from the belt. We couldnt finish the shrimp included in the bento because it had an off smell and taste. The Red Robin down the street was packed while we were literally the only customers at Sushi Connections. The 5 star ratings left us scratching our heads. The photos looked promising so maybe things have just seriously gone down hill. Im hoping the owners see this and can make some improvements. Sorry Sushi Connections...

We eat here often the price is great high quality and the staff Id very friendly and helpful. Also for those reviews saying that they are worried about freshness or variety on the belt anytime you want anything just ask and they will happily whip you up what ever you want fresh!! Also if theres something you like say you dont know much about sushi just talk to one of them tell them "I like shrimp and cucumber not into spicy" they may ask you a couple more questions and then wait a couple minutes and you will be served something that will be delicious!! And if you dont like cucumber but like one of the rolls tell them they will make you a custom roll at no extra charge!!! Yes they also have free tea if you ask and great dessert options too.

Our family finally went try this place on Valentine Day with a 15% off neighborhood dinner coupon. Two belt running on two different section. I am a regular at Sushi Land but after I try this place its more varity and more fresh on the fish and rice, all sushi is hand made instead of some place use machine to made the rice dough. Price is consider resonable for the amount offered. If you are not a total raw food person they do have some cooked dish like Katsu (Deep Fried Porkchop), and Tempura Udon, etc. The Manager and all other staffs are very friendly and helpful. We have a great night there, surely will be back.

The initial impression is a well-cleaned enviornment. The staff are presentable and professional. However, the sushi is hardly worth the prices. While they do have 1 and 1.50 dollar sushis available, they all taste bad. Your california and tuna rolls start at 2 dollars. This forces the customer to do one of the following: 1. Leave 2. Stay for crappy sushi 3. Break the bank for decent sushi with a small chance to get excellent sushi. There are other places that you can go to get sushi that dont demand 2 dollars a plate for something decent. But from 2 dollars and up, it will always taste good.

I was so excited when Sushi Connection opened. I have been there numerous times. The staff know me and my dad and always greet us with smiles and ask us how we have been. The food is great and they are always willing to make you something if its not on the belt. When I tried Sushi Land I was NOT impressed. The staff didnt care who you were and the food was generic and looked like it had made the rounds all day. I am forever loyal to Sushi Connection, I am actually going for dinner tonight!

The sushi isnt too bad but we ordered a sopporo and they told us they were out so I asked if they had anything similar and they said yes, they brought out some brand I cant remember and that was fine but when I went to pay they said the beer they brought me was $12 and it was just a reg 16oz rice beer which wasnt even that good. So they should of told me before they brought it out it was 3 times the price of sopporo, so basically I feel like they ripped me off. Very shady establishment....

First time coming here. To be honest was expecting better based on the 4.1 overall rating that i saw from Google. Non-peak time so roll selection felt limited compared to the size of the menu. However, staff would make anything on the spot if you wanted. Sushi quality was good, bento was meh not very flavorful. Salmon nigiri was on point. Pretty inexpensive so thats a plus. Google wont let me provide 1/2 stars. 2.5 / 5.

I have ate here a few times, 2 if the 5 times ive gotnfood posining. The last two times i have got food posining to make that clear. They let the sushi sit out all day and do not take peices that have been rotating all morning out. I ate a peice of salmon tasted as if it was out since the night before.

It says something about a restaurant when they have customers coming in often enough for the staff to know you when you walk through the door. Thats Sushi Connection! And not only is the service friendly, but the food is amazing (the white tuna and salmon are my favorite)! I am a Sushiland convert!

First time here. We love it I have not a single complaint. We came in a non busy hour (3pm Friday) so service was good. There were tons of delicious variety already in the band, place was clean enough and prices were excellent.. even the complementary tea was yummy! Highly recommend it.

I saw a commercial one night on tv and I was like I so have try this place because I love eating sushi and like to try new sushi places, so i ended up going with my lil family and it was very yummy. It is a bit pricey though but very good. This is our new sushi place to eat. We love it.

My favorite conveyor belt sushi. You have to go on a Fri-sun when they have the most creative rolls on the belt. The chefs are always up to make you whatever you want: we just said we wanted a lot of sriracha and tuna, they came up with an amazing roll. Not gonna break the bank either.

My favorite place - excellent menu for toddlers, great prices per plate. My favorite is the salmon nigiri and miso soup. As a sensitive-bellied pregnant lady, there are many delicious cooked options as well! My belly tells me everything I can eat here is super fresh! Love it here!

The sushi was very good and a decent selection. Like typical conveyor belt sushi places, the choices are limited and quality isnt the best. But for the price youre paying, the food is pretty good! Depending on when you go, it can be difficult to order a custom roll.

Good place for sushi. Good variety and tastes fresh! Staff is very friendly and willing to whip anything up for you. Only gripe I have is on busy times, the selection isnt as good because most everything has been taken before the sushi gets to my spot.
