I am a little mixed on this place. The place is a 5 for post run or bike location. There is a huge parking lot and its next to some of the bay areas best trail running. The beer selection is excellent and the service good and the outdoor sitting area is really nice. "Zots" has historical significance since Kesey and the electric Kool aid gang hung out here. However the food is a 2 maybe a generous 3. Id almost eat a clif bar with a beer here than order their food. Having said that if they charge more for upgraded food this place would be packed given the affluent crowd in the locale.

Big open area for seating, but food was greasy and the time between our friends in front of us in line and our food coming out was over 15 minutes. Sucks to eat at different times just because you split the bill when ordering. They need to figure out how to prioritize their cooking properly.

There is so much potential to make it into a true biergarten. Great location but definitely too rustic with the smallest kitchen. Thru-put is an issue. Outside it dodgy. With a little bit of investment... now though, food is comparable to that at a bad college dining hall.

Call it "Zots" and everyone will think you are an old local from way back. You just cant beat the huge, fenced in outdoor area with endless picnic tables dappled with sun and shade. Bring your toddler, grab a beer, and relax for a while.

The Alpine Inn is pretty awesome. The outdoor seating area is excellent and the indoors bar area is really unique. The place is cash only, but they have an ATM, so its not a complete loss if you dont plan ahead.

No better place to sit outside and have a juicy one with a brew and flip quarters. Also one of the best destinations after a good motorcyle ride. Have many good memories of Saturday lounging from Menlo College.

The pulled pork sandwich was really good. Juicy and Tender! Only thing I didnt like was that I came with mayo and shredded lettuce I would have requested to save the mayo but the menu did say it came with it.

I LOVE the burgers here, and theyre served on really tasty rolls. Best of all, you can sit outside in the picnic area and drink a few beers. Great place to stop after some hiking in the nearby trail system.

This place goes way back! You can order your greasy burger and enjoy your meal while relaxing in the garden. If youre on diet you should probably drive couple of miles down on Alpine and check out "Ladera"

I remember coming here as a child with my father and coming in today with my girlfriend reminded me why I never forgot this place. Best steak sandwich I have had in a long time. Love the out door area too

A nice old place, piece of the past. Food was truly average. Beer, on tap, good, solid. Today, almost got short changed by bartender. He blamed it on the electronic cash register. Isnt tech a B....?

My pops used to go there when it was Rosadies (sp?). He took me to The Alpine Inn when I was 10...im 45 now. It was amazing, and such an awesome location. Best burger I ever had.
