Yeah - back to good service and tasty food that we were looking for. The bar staff here continues to be fantastic, they look out for all of the customers in a team effort and really try to ensure that people arent just getting what they need, but that they are really enjoying it. Food - 4/5 - the only thing that was disappointing was the edamame, it just wasnt fresh and really shouldnt have been served. Everything else we ordered over the course of several hours was really great. Quality ingredients with good execution and someone back there is making sure it all gets plated hot, fresh, and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Beer - 5/5 - great selection and I love that you can order shorty pours rather than having the smallest as a pint so that you can mix and match with what you are munching on and try new things without having to deal with drinking a pint of it if you choose poorly.

Its sort of like the Cheesecake Factory of sports bars; its an experience youll find familiar. There is plenty of seating and the menu is varied enough to satisfy everyone in your part. The space is large, open, and fairly comfortable. Youll find a good select of beers on tap, rotated frequently, as well as the usual suspect for the less adventurous in your part. They do, of course, have yards of beer... hence the name. The service is, on the whole, pretty great. They are willing to accomodate large groups on short notice. Managers check in frequently and everyone assures your visit is a pleasant experience. Definitely a solid contender to the nearby Tap House.

SHEER PERFECTION! The ONLY strike I can think of against this place would be parking. But I can hold that against then because its downtown Seattle. What do you want? The interior in deep, dark and spacious. Thanks to the well thought out locations of T.V.s there really is not a bad place to sit. The optional beer tasting are just another step to your craft beer education. If you come here and try and order a Bud or Coors, take your ass somewhere else! With over 100 beers on tap, why WOULDNT you expand your horizons? Another HUGE step up for this place is the food. Is it bar food...mostly but, its done with great care, passion and imagination.

This place is grossly overpriced, and portions are meager. I left hungry. We had the wings as an appetizer, which were delicious. But, they were small and only 8 or 9. Whats up with restaurants getting away with charging gemstone prices fora few hot wings? Is there a chicken shortage I am not aware of? Also, My turkey club looked pitiful. It was very plain, with 1 slice of soggy bacon. one cut square had 1 cm X 1 cm piece of bacon. Come on ! For almost $13, that club should have had huge slices of bacon, and extra meaty with turkey. The taste of the club was average. I will bypass this place next time .

While the kitchen was understandably a bit slow at the lunch rush hour (arriving at noon it took 45 minutes between ordering and food service), the staff took care of our large party extremely well. They were patient and kind and checked on us constantly, giving updates on the food arrival, refilling drinks, and even bringing out the checks early and taking care of them promptly when we asked for that. The food was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their choices. If you come with a large party, I recommend arriving early for lunch, plan on an hour and a half, and enjoy the great food.

Very easy to get lost in the menu. They have just about everything you can make. I got the Torta which was definitely good, but nothing to write home about. Everyone else definitely also enjoyed their food (tacos, sandwiches, and salad). Went during weekday lunch and not busy, but they have a large area so they can definitely pack the house. We came for appetizers another time, cant remember what we got, but I remember enjoying it. Havent checked out the bar at all but their tap selection is definitely one of the best, missed the Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA by a single day.

We went there for lunch on a saturday, no happy hours anymore, nor any specials on drinks etc. The item I wanted to try on the menu was not available, (Maui Pinapple Chicken), a friend had to ask about garlic bread three times from the server, I ended up ordering orange chicken which was a cold and not tasteful what so ever. I have tried this restuarant in Orlando and we had a wonderful experience but here in Seattle that rating was not even close from the food to customer service etc... Will think about giving them another chance in the future !!!

In the Sports Bar genre of food Yard House may well be king. My fiance and I have very different taste in food, but every time we go there we both find ourselves quite happy with the food and drink, as well as being quite full. They have a large menu, and a large drink menu, but what really sells it for me is their Happy Hour Menu from 3 pm to 6 pm on weekdays, where you can get affordable food and discounted pints of your favorite forms of alcohol, before the roaring noise of the later night crowds drowns out all conversation.

The service here was phenomenal, absolutely great servers - flawless even. Had an issue with a rude manager on a reservation, very curt and entitled on the phone to the degree that I no longer wanted to even try this location. Decided another day to give it one more go and the server we got plus the good food made up for the negative experience with the manager. If youre going to come here definitely do an open table reservation through Google maps. Happy hour menu is great from 4-6pm!

What you see is what you get when visiting a place so often used for business lunches. The food is expensive and the portions are unimpressive. Drink menu is actually pretty good but again, the same can be said for a lot of other places. It gets crowded very quickly and the noise levels get to be a bit much at times. The service is super friendly but you should expect a decent wait most of the time. Location and atmosphere are really the two big draws that The Yard House has to offer.

This place has a great beer selection. It has a little bit of a corporate environment unfortunately. However, they actually have a really interesting food menu! There spicy tuna roll doesnt have rice, but has a big huge helping of good spicy tuna and you can order rice on the side. They also have an amazing thing called a vampire taco that has melted cheese on the outside. The happy hour menu has great deals. Servers are friendly.

Great experience for group dining, the atmosphere is cozy, we felt like we were the only patrons in the place though we werent. We had a 10-minute wait but that was to be expected on a Friday afternoon downtown. The food selections were plentiful and creative though on the expensive side. Our server was friendly helpful and very professional. I would probably go there again for some special occasion with friends.

Great staff! I frequently visit this location and enjoy a beer or three from their vast selection. The restrooms are always clean and have some tunes playing. All of the food items Ive ordered have been delicious...I highly recommend trying the Blackened Swordfish Tacos with mango salsa!! Perfect spot to hang out and watch some sports on the numerous TVs available, or to have a meal with your friends/coworkers.
