Just stopped in here last evening for some Good Old Chinese Food, as I used to go here years ago. The only Waitress (1) must have been drugged . . . had to get up and get my own Silverware and Napkin, as Brunhilda was too busy visiting with her Buddies by the Kitchen Door. The Kitchen staff had to come out and tell her your food order is up. The food? Well can you say GREASE, and I don’t mean the Movie either, it really SUCKED. Just before we left it was almost time for Karaoke . . . up go the partitions between the Bar and the Restaurant . . . Holy Mother of Jesus, what a Tribe they had in there. It was Packed with some of the worst looking Nar-De-Wells in the City of Seattle. Frankly, I used to go to this place 30 years ago (1976 to 1980) when Ginger & Wayne Yee were running the place and Nora (the snotty Waitress) was there. At that time, the food and Service were Excellent. DO NOT GO HERE, If you are a normal upstanding citizen of Seattle, however, if you want Riff-Raff, you found the right place!!

Full disclosure: I never wanted to go here... For no goddam or damn-good reason (besides maybe being that pretentious prick in my friend group who likes to hear himself complain; all while secretly hoping his passive aggressive bitching will both, ruin his friends evening by returning the focus back upon my incessant protest towards anyone pursing a party and, make my friends resent my inability to convince them that a night listening to various karaoke renditions of billboard hits by Michael Jackson, Michael Bolton and Michael Buble, at the Rshaw, isnt really a well-spent night... I couldnt have been more wronger(er). Instead of finding hits by the aforementioned Michaels, I was met by a dude in his 60s, wearing groin-high Umbros and a clear red visor, holding his beer and fthe mic in one hand and absolutely NAILING an epic rendition of "whats up," by 4-Non Blondes. 5/5

My granddaughter and I stopped in here tonight on our way home from grocery shopping to get a to go order. We were told it would be about 15 minutes said ok. About 15 minutes later two gentleman enter and are seated. I got really upset when the two gentleman got their food and we were still waiting for ours. A lady did ask me if she could help and I let her know what had happened she asked me for my name so she could find out what happened to our order. Let her know that I was not asked my name. It took a total of 50 minutes for us to get our order. I did let the gal that took our order know that I will never set foot in there again or even order from there online anymore. VERY BAD SERVICE!!!!! Get home to eat our food and her chicken was almost burnt mine was under cooked as well as my prawns. The rice dint even taste right.

Strong drinks and nice staff, The Rickshaw was a pleasant surprise. The night started dour and underwhelming but a desperate last minute decision led to us meeting the handsome doorman with striking blue eyes and a glorious golden mullet straight from the the cinematic classic Roadhouse. The gin and tonic I clumsily ordered through my sexually confused haze left from the bouncers icy gaze was strong and sweet, definitely worth the price. I picked an order of Hom Baow off of the menu to try to stave off the hangover I would inevitably accrue trying to smother these strange feelings the bouncers glacial ice blue stare stirred in my soul. The pork was savory and the pastry was delectable, but the flowing gold of the bouncers hair would not leave my mind. 10/10 experience. Really opened my eyes.

Atmosphere is electric, staff is energized, attentive and fun. However, parking is difficult and the food tastes frozen. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and could taste the freezer burn in some of the veggies, trading out for fresher ingredients would hugely improve the food. It was also odd seeing American food along side Chinese, menu seemed too large with generic options that lacked creativity. However the low prices and electric atmosphere make up for it, not to mention their pomegranate cider by number 6 is a delicious option on their drink menu. Additional parking and more fresh ingredients would improve this restaurant even more.

When I tried to order some take out, spent the usual amount of time deciding which combo dinner I wanted, then ordered on-line (after filling out the blah blah BS) I get a call saying they no longer have that dinner, so I say OK well pick another one and reorder, 10 minutes later am reordering and 2 minutes after that another call saying they dont have that dinner either. Do they cook food there or not. Will not go in or try again, the young man was very nice and apologetic about the issue. How hard is to delete items from the menu??????

Food is Good and Service is Friendly My Favorite Food is the Almond Fried Chicken... But there are a Couple of small things Id change the Fried Rice needs Some flavor added and the Combination Plates shouldnt be charged extra for Soft Noodles when the full size Automatically is made with Soft noodles and get the dried noodles upon request, these suggestions are made with the most respect possible... Come in For Karaoke 7 Nights a Week find you Favorite Food Or Karaoke KJ and Bar Tender and WaitStaff...

I was just in in the last week and the food was so-so, but mainly the service was lacking. I dont know if our server "Mara" was just dipping into the company liquor supply or what, but something was way off. Drinks took a while to get to us and the order was wrong twice! Ive been in other times and the service was good but if shes our server next time ill definitely think twice about dining there again.

the rickshaw has a couple amazing bartenders and amazing karaoke hosts. but there is one member here that is the manager and she is not understanding or wont even explain more about what happened or is happening of certain things. but they need to hire a couple more servers and have 2 bartenders working especially when they are super busy

I told them to come get their food and return my money.

So, you go here for the crazy stiff drinks and the hilariously friendly karaoke. I come here a few times a year, and Ive never not had a ton of fun. If you even mention the quality of the food, you are here for the absolutely wrong reasons. Its dive karaoke at its finest!

Well as a retired Chef trained in Hawaii and know Oriental food well, this place is a disgrace. From the badly burnt chix wings to their top bragger. A total waste of time and travel. I could put up with so-so service if the food was even marginal but, nuff said...
