Unfortunately, the service here is some of the worst Ive ever experienced. Not enough help. Food sat in the window for over 9 minutes, (we saw it), server didnt check back to see if our meat was cooked properly for 11 minutes after she finally brought it out cold, then when we told her it was cold, she blamed the cooks saying "I didnt cook it, its not my fault". The server just walked by fast and delivered our bill on the table without asking if we want anything else, and without stopping. The only time our food is right is if we sit at the bar. Its too bad as there is a lack of restaurants/bars in the area to choose from. I have managed some of the top restaurants in Washington, as well as being an owner as well. They need to actually train servers, as well as staff accordingly for a Saturday night. They shouldnt hold us hostage with sub-standard service just because they are the only game in town.

Doofers is in a remote part of Renton, making this a good place to go with limited bar choices in the area. The atmosphere is friendly, sports/country bar. The setup feels a little confused and I cant fully put my finger on why. Maybe it was the bar wrapped around the food counter or the pool table smack in the middle of the place but something about the layout was a little awkward. The wait staff is fast and helpful. The booths and tables are clean. It gets loud but it is a sports bar after all. The food was ok. It is run of the mill sports bar fare but the menu was surprisingly long. We had four dishes and none of them made an impression and none of them were bad either. They were just good and the beer selection was great. My pints showed up a little frosty which I always appreciate.

Id give Doofers 0 stars if I could! Only my 2nd visit despite living only a few miles away. Took 1 1/2 hours for our food. After an hour we inquiried with the waitress who blamed me for ordering chicken and if I wanted chicken for dinner I should call ahead to the restaurant. The service is probably some of the worst Ive ever experienced, she was snotty and just completely unprofessional the entire time. Eating with friends and we both had little ones who dont really tolerate waiting 1 1/2 hours for dinner. Many smokers just outside the door even with the 25ft smoking ordinance, the smoke comes into the establishment and I find it disgusting.

Food is usually good, but my recent experience was not good. Ordered cold pastrami sandwich after being told meat was very lean. I received a roast beef sandwich, sent it back, and it took over 20 minutes to get what I ordered. The amount of fat on it was crazy. Many 1" by 2" areas of fat. Waitress said the fat would have disappeared if I had ordered it hot instead! Umm, no. Will not order that again for sure. Slow to get a drink refill, too.

I live within walking distance and used to love their food. Good hearty portions and a reasonable cost. The staff has gone downhill so far the service is no longer what it used to be. I just called to do a carry out order for fries and onion rings and say on hold for 13+ mins, it would have taken less than 2 mins to take my order. One of the many reasons we no longer frequent Doofers and will take our business elsewhere.

Great staff, tons of HD TVs and great food! Get the sliders with a side of Cajun fries and thank me later. But there is this goofy fellow named Nick who is one of the managers there and I am almost positive he chose to work at a Sports bar to compensate for his terrible talent of playing basketball (HORSE specifically) but he still tries to brag anyhow. Feel free to ask him about it next time you visit Doofs!

Standard bar food, although twice Ive had a cheese stick with no cheese, just fried outer breading (really, it needs the cheesy goodness for balance). The atmosphere is laid back, a little loud and tipsy in the later hours, but no matter the day or the hour the wait staff is friendly. But my goodness, the chicken. The fried chicken. I died. Heaven. Goodbye skinny jeans, hello sweatpants.

Fried chicken and JoJos, ice cold drafts. Sports on tv. My only complaint is the service. When we arrived we had a cheerful friendly server. As the place became busy, we were passed off to a very impolite server of many faces. She literally snatched the credit card out of our hands and slammed the pen down to sign the bill. We tipped accordingly but were sure it wont matter.

Crappy service by our waitress. I dont know her name, but she was older. But, the food is great.. So theres that. Our waitress was obviously stressed out, but it wasnt very busy at the time we were there. She was very short and snappy about answering questions, and it took 20 minutes to just get water. Just horrible overall. Chicken wings were delicious though.

This place has great bar food. I mean, if you are into burgers and FRIED CHICKEN, theyve got it nailed. Huge portions. Decent selection of macro brews, a couple arcade games, pool tables, and lots of televisions. Oh, and theres a family portion, too, where you can dine at a bar with your kids - if youre so inclined.

I go to doofers al the time. Its right around the corner from my house. Usually its great. The last couple of times Ive gone, its not been so great,They really need to hire some waiters with customer service experience. Food is always good, and beer, Thats always good!! I do love this place though!

Great neighborhood bar. Big portions of food. Lots of TVs. Staff is great. Seen some hater reviews about the staff but Ive never had an issue with service. In fact Im stunned how they remember so many customers names and drink orders. Great vibe.

Did not get any service. Then when the waitress came i ordered a beverage and did not get any attention for about 15 minutes.then she went out to have a smoke. No customer service what so ever. You lose we usually spend about 80.00 bucks or so. P

The food rocks. Yes, if youre going to order the chicken, order ahead of time. It takes some time so have a drink. Well worth the wait. Never had anything bad here. Love the Regulars and the Staff.

Food is phenomenal wait staff is even better a must try for this establishment. As for the wait staff ask for katie she took the best care of me every time even remember my drinks a week later.

The service can be good, but when it is bad, it is really BAD! Just horrific attitude from the bartender. She was just rude and disrespectful. Not a bad atmosphere. Food portions are large.

Not a bad little pub/bar. Ive been here twice. But food wasnt bad and staff was friendly. Not cheap, but not terribly expensive. They have Mac & Jack on tap, so a win.
