Tip #1: Check out the chalkboard when you walk in for daily specials! Tip #2: Guacamole is a bit spicy — mix with the sour cream before loading up your unlimited warm tortilla chips! Actual Review: Came here for a late supper with friends and there was a short, ten minute wait that gave us time to peek at the menu and decide what we wanted before we were seated. Everyone that was heading out was thanking the servers and chefs, and the servers remembered their names as they wished their customers a happy Easter. Our interactions were equally personable! Super stellar service, especially at the end of a busy Saturday. The food portions were so big, I ended up eating most of the beans and rice with the chips and saving half my seafood chimichangas for the next days lunch. Next time I may just order an appetizer and split an entree with my dinner date!

This Mexican restaurant has been here for over 18 years ... Its in a great location... between Kenmore and Kirkland. There needs to be more restaurants between these 2 cities! The food is consistent throughout these years and they offer several vegetarian options. If you let them know youre a vegetarian, theyll be able to accommodate your needs. Heads up : The rice is not vegetarian: powdered chicken base Had the avocado tostada, taco salad, Spinach burrito... All very good... Freshly made... The cabbage & tomato salsas are really good! At times their tables are dirty and sticky... And we found food smears on the pages of the menu. But their food is solid! Food 5 Service 5 Decor & Ambiance 4 Cleanliness 3

This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant with no close 2nd. My favorite dish is the Chicken Mole. Perfect for anyone whose stomach doesnt agree with spicy food. I first had mole in California made by a friends Uncle and loved it at first taste. It was not spicy at all! Sweet even. But every other Mexican Restaurant where I have ordered Chicken Mole in the Seattle Area serves a spicy vs sweet mole, except for Plaza Garcia in Kirkland. Off the beaten track, this restaurant thrives on the repeat business of loyal customers. That pretty much says it all. Love the people...love the food...and judging from the extensive repeat business from many families who live in close proximity to it, I think many agree with me.

I love Plaza Garcia and have been driving out of my way for 5 years now to go there. The quality of their ingredients is fantastic. The meats are always tender and well trimmed, their sauces are amazing, their salsa/chips/pica de gallo are all made fresh throughout the day. After my 3rd or 4th time visiting this restaurant I was on a first name basis with the staff, a few cooks, and owner. Friendly, inviting, delicious, clean, well priced, and quality in every way. In fact, I know what Im doing for dinner tonight... =)

Been living in the Finn Hill area for a while and always drove past this place looking empty... so I assumed it just wasnt a good restaurant. But after hearing recommendations from my mother-in-law about checking out this place, my husband, sister-in-law and I finally went to check it out (which was pretty busy when we went) and we all fell in love with this place! The food is so delicious! And the salsa, yum! Definitely coming back whenever we feel like Mexican food again (best part is its so close to home).

This is the best mexican restaurant and the ONLY one we eat at, refusing anything else. After we found this one, we discovered what mexican food is really all about. The staff is so cool and always the same, the owner is always there walking around and checking to make sure every table is full of happy eaters!! The best service, and food!! They got to know us and put a little extra tequila in our margaritas!! LOL. Bottom line is, its the very best!!

We have been going here for years and love it every time! This is probably the best Mexican food in the Seattle area. The veggie fajitas and cadillac margaritas are my personal favorites, but everything is delicious! The service is consistently wonderful, and you will definitely see plenty of regulars - which is always a good sign!

Atmosphere, food and menu were average. Could have been any Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Carne Asada which was good - tender and fairly tasty, although I like em a little more char-grilled. But at $19, it seemed about $3-4 too expensive to me. Prices seemed unusually high on most other items as well. Service was good.

We were pleasantly surprised when we went inside. We live close by and have driven by almost every day since last year but never went in because the sign looked dingy. However, inside its very clean and nice. The menu is very authentic and has items like mole that you often find only in Mexico. Will be back!

Ive only tried it once, as takeout. Bleh. Had a quesadilla and burrito. The quesadilla was flabby and undercooked. Both were cold and made with greasy orange colored cheese. Salsa containers and guacamole/lettuce sides were microscopic. Cannot understand the appeal of this place except for lack of options.

Good value for food and service friendly. The food is a good value for the price. You get a lot and it tastes pretty good. The restaurant has a comfortable feel and the service is good. Just get there early because there is limited parking. Highly recommend for locals.

The food is above average but also lacking a lot of flavor in some instances. The parking for this establishment is also very very poor and it can be a pain at times. Thats said Plaza Garcia is still one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area.

Plaza Garcia has amazing food, great staff, friendly and quick service! They pay attention to each client personally and remember who we are when we come in! The carne asada is one of our favorites! I definitely highly recommend it!

At best its average tex-mex. There doesnt seem to be any good Mexican in the Pacific North West. The cheese is too much, and seems like its cheddar or something non-Mexican. Staff is nice and its kid friendly.

Wish we lived closer because its a hike to get here but I love this place. Excellent food, clean and great decor, friendly employees. One of my favorite restaurants around! The queso blanco dip is phenomenal.

Excellent customer service, and very good Mexican food. Still a step away from the real stuff they serve in areas of Texas, but very good nonetheless. Will return again. Decor is very nice, too.

Food, hospitality, service, friendliness, "treat you like family" - excellent! Tell the cooks what you want and they will do their best to accommodate. What more could you ask for?

Good neighborhood Mexican food restaurant. Very easy to get coupons via Facebook, local coupon packs, or the Safeway a couple miles north on Juanita (on the back of your receipt).

Great family style Mexican restaurant. Our favorite in the area. Great carna asada, enchiladas, fajitas, house specials, fresh margaritas and beer on tap. Kid friendly.
