Hi! Im writing to let you know about the wonderful service I got at the Johnny Rockets in Kent Wa on Sunday 10/2/11 ...I have never written any company ever before about the service. So this really is a huge deal for me to say the least. Ive never once been inspired to ever write a thank you or a praise letter to any restaurant or server before either. Except this one time! I just wanted to say and let you know that on Sunday my little cousin and I drove all the way from Federal Way to go eat some burgers&malts at Johnny Rockets. After we got all the way there and parked. I realized I forgot my debit card at home. So I counted all the change in my car and a few dollar bills I had in the car. It only came to $16. Me &my cousin proceeded to go in really bummed out because we knew we didnt have enough money to get everything we wanted to orginally get. There was only one server there inside -Antoin was his name, and he was so extremely kind&understanding to us and gave us the best service we had ever received even though he knew hed get no tip. Despite the fact that we had change all over the table he helped us figure out exactly what we could get&afford in order for me&my cousin to get full and have a great experience at Johnny Rockets. Antoin was amazing and the best! If I had my own restaurant theres no doubt Id grab him up to work for me. He truly gives 100% to customer service and makes his guests feel so welcome&come back. Thanks Antoin for being great at what you do!!!! (Btw-he was the only server there kicking butt and waiting on the whole restaurant by himself! Him and one cook on a Sunday afternoon! He was running around doing everthing with no problem!Very impressive!!) Sincerely, Danielle & Brandon :)

The decor was retro, classic rock on the jukebox "nice" the cooks and servers, ethnically very diverse, which begs one to ask the question; Is flipping a good hamberger and spinning a good milkshake really a part of their respective cultural experiences and upbringing. The answer to that question was readily apparent in the quality of the food. I had the Smoke House Double which amounted to two thick dry tasteless hamburger patties a soggy onion rings globbed to together with other stated ingredients. Thank goodness I went with my gut instinct and I did not trust them to make a milkshake for me. Today I do not feel sick, but I definitely still feel that Smokehouse Glob still fermenting in my gut, and my daughter does not feel all that great. I am not saying anything to her about Johnny Rockets or blaming them for the way she feels....I dont want to scare her about eating out... However if you really have a hankering for a hamburger youre really better off eating at McDonalds than Johnnys or better yet pick up some rib-eye steaks at Winco and icecream broil the steaks for a couple minutes on each side, youve got yourself an exellent fast food homemade steak dinner at half the price, and spared yourself some Johnny bad hamburger bloat!

The facility is relatively clean, with amiable (I wont go so far as to call them friendly) staff. Theres the benefit of the kitchen being on display, which helps assure nothing "funny" will happen to your meal. That, unfortunately, is as high as the praise gets and as far as it goes. I had the "smokehouse:" A cheddar, bacon burger with onion rings. The meat was properly cooked, bit the onion rings were out of a bad and had been fried some time will in advance. To make them worse, theyre cheap onion rings with the membranes in-tact. As you might guess, this does not make for an enjoyable burger. Moving on to the fries, they are also cheap previously frozen things which are edible when fresh out of the frier, but turn chewy as they cool. To top the meal of I had a chocolate shake. This was way too sugary with near zero chocolate flavor. The crux-de-gras its paper. Namely: the bill. $14.76 plus tax for a meal of lower quality than most fast food joints provide for double the cost.

Walked in at 12:15pm you have to seat yourself, which isnt a problem. A white couple walked in at 12:44pm, was told to seat yourself. At 12:48pm they were asked if they would like something to drink. At 12:59pm they was asked if they like to order, so they proceed. Now not once did anyone come to Our table to ask if we "we would like anything to drink, or if we were ready to order" and let me say there were only 5 people in there "not busy at all" so when a waitress finally came to our table I proceeded to tell her we are leaving and addresses my concerns ADAN the person who dropped our menus on the table with aggression then act as if he didnt see anything wrong in what he did. This was my 1st time here and I refuse to eat where prejudice or racism exists!!!

This has one of the best burgers in Kent. This store is always very clean and the staff was very respondent and courteous. The old style fifties type Diner is always a fun and enjoyable place to bring the family. We love going here! Ive been going there ever since it opened about 10 years ago. The servers at work there are always happy and cheerful and really do seem to want to be there which is always a plus. I left the close proximity to the theaters and it is in the Kent Station. This place is a vibrant fun community of stores and just a great social Hangout. I will certainly be back and back and back again and again and again. I highly recommend this food establishment and I encourage all of you to give it a shot.

Once was enough. It seemed to take a very long time for anyone to even notice we sat down and bring menus. After we ordered it took along time again for them to even get us water, we drank it right away and they never offered a refill. Got a shake, seemed kind of runny and not worth the price. One of our orders was wrong, took about 10 minutes to bring out a replacement. The burger was smallish, not what it looked like in the picture and only a few fries. The phiilly sandwitch had maybe 2 or 3 slices of meat, again not as pictured. A lady came in with 2 kids and sat behind us, she waited about 10 minutes and finally left with out anyone even saying hi or bringing her a menu or water.

The last time I ate there was late in the evening new years eve, 2007. At that time the food was FABULOUS. Large burger, large plate of fresh fries, crispy perfectly cooked onion rings. I drank milk with my meal. I just now looked it up, I was thinking of making the 300 mile round trip to again have that experience, but after reading these reviews I think Ill skip it. Im sad to see how the quality has fallen. Oh, and btw, when I ate there it was with a black man. The waitress was very friendly and we had absolutely no problem with being ignored as an interracial couple
