My.. My .. What a treat!! Ok. I dont like take out food. Especially Chinese ones. The veggies taste ambiguous. The rice is greasy and over fried, to hide the bad taste of days in the whatisit. The chicken looks, at best, like a dog food. Dry and unappetizing. HOWEVER, through my boyfriends persistence, we had a delivery [Shrimp with vegetable for me and General Tsos Chciken for him] from Magic Wok this evening. When i tell you how i gobbled everything, didnt even leave the fortune cookie; youd know how good this place is. The vegetables are actually fresh. The rice feels like it just came out of the cooker. The chicken didnt look as dry and creepy the way most take-out food chicken bits do. Its plump, well cooked and yummy. Even the soup tastes like a home-treat. I must say I am pleasantly surprised. Big Fan!!!!

If I could give it a half or no star I would. Ordered take out yesterday at this place, didnt get delivery. Well over $40 for two! Barbecued pork was dry and mushy with no flavor. Shrimp fried rice had only 8 shrimp and the rice was flavorless. I actually had to refry it when I got home and add egg, a bit of soy and sesame oil. Kind of okay then. Pot stickers were burned and only fit for the garbage. Sweet and sour chicken came with canned, thick sticky sauce on the side, probably so it wouldnt soak in to the flavorless, dry chicken nuggets (frozen and then cooked). So of course we wont be back and suggest you not go either.

I try not to complain, but my first time there was pretty horrible. We were seated and ignored for 15 minutes, no one offered drinks, others who were seated after us at least had been given water. They were packing people in and there were many people who were being ignored as well, on Valentines day. I wish I couldve at least tried the water. There is a booth filled with supplies and paperwork, I understand that you have to work with what you have, but it was an eye sore. If you dont have kids this is the place for you, otherwise if you have kids, spare yourself the frustration.

It was the worst ! The pictures of their items are misleading. Our house "special" chow mein had NO vegetables like their picture shows. It was like spaghetti noodles with a few pieces of green onions. The barbeque pork (very few pieces) came with a LITTLE dish of sweet & sour sauce with like 4 drops of hot mustard in it and a very few sesame seeds on top. The sweet & sour dish had ONE piece of green pepper which my wife and I cut in half. THEY ARE VERY CHEAP. STAY AWAY!!

Stopped by Christmas Day when checking to see if Dominos was open. It was not, thank God for that! We saw that Magic Wok was to be open for another couple hours. We dined in and it has been the BEST Chinese weve ever had! Weve dined in several other times and also had take out and delivery. The food does not disappoint and weve tried several plates already. Seriously cannot express how good the orange chicken is, we just keep coming back!

This is some of the best Chinese food Ive had in many years. The ingredients were fresh, the lemon chicken was fried in a very light, delicate batter and it was not greasy at all like most Chinese take out. The chicken in all the dishes we ordered were all white meat. Their spring rolls were also lightly fried and the vegetables in them were crispy and fresh, The food was made on time and served with a smile. I will be back!

The restaurant itself is a bit outdated, cluttered and the lighting isnt very good. Once you it their food the atmosphere instantly gets better. We order their take out food often! It is amazing! Food is nice, fresh, hot and flavorful. My favorite menu item is the spicy crispy combo! The owners are very pleasant and the food quality is five star all on its own. Check it out!

I have ordered from this restaurant for the past 2 yrs and every time I order the price is different. Today I called to order and the price changed 3 different times in the space of 7mins. Im very disappointed that the service is so poor because I do enjoy the food. I will not be ordering from them anymore and have reported to the better business bureau.

They are great! First time there, drove from Tacoma just to try it out. Tired of the Safeway fare. Vegetables are fresh, the fried rice has everything in it (especially flavor). The staff are friendly, the food was ready when they said it would be. The dining area clean and neat. I got a carry out but now Id like to go for a sit down.

We ordered using Uber Eats. When paying over $50 for 3 entrees, I think its reasonable to expect rice.....but nope, we were left with fairly greasy, oversauced, and frankly small portions of entrees with no rice to be had. If I would have known Ric cost yet another $10/15 I wouldnt have ordered in the first place.

We have been to the Magic Wok several times as it is right down the road from our house. They have a very diverse menu, with well prepared meals at very reasonable prices. The staff treats you very well right when you walk in, and the service is nice and quick. It is terrific to have such a great place nearby!

Food is amazing! Family style entrees with more than generous portions at a reasonable price. Service is fast and friendly. Our waitress even brought out our chicken fried rice early for our impatient 4 year old daughter.... I didnt ask her too and was so pleased she helped us out.I will definitely be back.

(Which I thank them for they didnt have to refund me at all) but I didnt order a slurpee I ordered a bubble tea

This is my Chinese food of choice in Federal Way. Ive patronized them since they first opened probably 25 + years ago. Family owned and run - it is nice to go into a place and feel appreciated. Food is excellent - lighter than your typical Chinese-American fare and with more inherent taste.

First off I paid way too much for some rice and mongolian beef. All the meat was such low quality with the texture of chewy fat. The fried rice was not the best either. I do not think the chef should be posting good reviews about their own place, it puts the wrong picture.

Very very good food. Some of the best Chinese food I have had since I moved out west. The egg drop soup very good. The spring rolls are done just right. Gen tso chicken was nice and crispy and the sauce is just wow.

Do NOT waste your money!!! This was the worst Chinese food my family and I have ever had. High prices, small portions, over cooked, oily, tasteless food. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this restaurant.

I would NOT recommend this place. My soup has veges that are cut into 2x2 pieces - i have to cut them up to eat them. We ordered 2 entrees - and not any rice was included. Egg Rolls - nothing to write home about.
