Okay, so I saw this place on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and decided I had to give it a try. I lived less than an hour away (and I went to the gym less than 15 mins from here). I was blown away! The food here is outstanding, to say the least. However, the bakery is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was hooked at first bite I visited this restaurant every Monday (my day off) until I moved away from the area. I sampled several items from the menu, all of which were absolutely delicious... but the REAL reason I kept returning was to stock up on the homemade confections. There are a plethora of divine creations to choose from, each as mouth-watering as the next. These two ladies (mother and daughter) are world class bakers. The ingredients in their authentic Italian deserts are all imported and stand head and shoulders above anything else around. I could not begin to describe the array of choices and flavors that abound. This little gem is hidden away in a plaza on the outskirts of Virginia Beach, WELL worth the drive. Youll be going back again and again once you find it. BRAVO

Ordered two death by chocolates at $4.25 a pop from Order Up, and had to purchase another item to be over the purchase minimum cost in order to receive money food. In total, I spent almost $20 on two rolls which claimed to be "death by chocolate" but had no semblance of chocolate in them at all and a regular hot cocoa, which for $3.75, you would think would be marvelous (but was definitely not). My sister and I both took a couple bites of the rolls and had to throw them away because they were so disgusting and poorly flavored. Went in to ask for accommodations for my incredible waste of money and was told no and that the rolls arent supposed to be as flavorful as their cakes. I complained that they do not have the items on their online menu, and the girl behind the counter simply shrugged and looked at me blankly. No apologies from the staff, no concern given for an upset customer. Very disappointed with this experience and will have a hard time ever coming back here. Huge waste of money.

Came here with my family the other night and it was everything I could have hoped for. Saw this place featured on the Food Network a few years ago and have been wanting to come ever since. Just moved back to the area and I had to try it. The stuffed meatball was unbelievable. Melts in your mouth. The calamari was delicious as well. My mom had the gnocchi, dad had the steak panini, son had the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and I had a Chicken Parmesan sandwich. Everything was so insanely delicious. The staff was extremely nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. My mother in law and husband were born and raised in Sardegna, Italy and this is definitely a place I can bring them to and know they will enjoy. They also have dessert cases with beautiful treats. We brought home a few things to try and we loved them all. My favorite by far was the slice of cake that has limoncello and a raspberry type of icing. Prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Im going to give this the most honest and fair review possible, without sounding like a constant complainer. This was the first time I ate here and it came highly recommended from family members. The food was very well portioned, even the half sizes were filling. Everything was delicious and the environment was very pleasant as well. The only complaint was we had two elderly members in our party and one was using a walker. The waitress seemed annoyed she had to move two small tables together to accommodate our party of six. My uncle (the one with the walker) seen her frustration and tried to help. The young waitress clearly and sternly told him to "back off". My mother told her that was uncalled for and the waitress rolled her eyes and walked away. Not sure if someone spoke to her and corrected her, halfway through the service her attitude seemed to change and became very nice and respectful. Overall I would definitely go back and eat there in the future.

I ordered a Tiramisu (one of my favorite desserts), and it was beyond disappointing. I had two bites and told one of the workers that it tasted funny. At first, the girl offered to give me a different dessert, but a second employee brought the Tiramisu back and told me that there is nothing they could do for me. The girl asked me if I even knew what iIramisu tasted like. I am not so concerned over a $4.50 dessert, and I can even understand an employee who lacks basic customer service skills. Unfortunately, when I brought it to the owners attention, she dismissed my complaint and seemed unconcerned with losing a customer. I have frequented this place many times because I prefer to support businesses close to my home, but I would drive to Richmond to give my money to someone else before I would ever give this business another dime.

End to end review...place was clean and the pastry displays were full and very tempting...ordered the sandwich featured on DDD and LOVED it!!! We got the steak as well as the chicken versions. We werent disappointed at all, the bread was awesome and the steak was very tender and you could really taste the marsala wine just needed some seasoning because the tomatoes were out of season and not very tasty...great options to choose...and dont forget the variety of sweet. We took home a sampling of the Red Velvet Cheesecake cake and the Chocolate Cheesecake cake both were good but a little too dense for my liking. Would recommend you try one of the cake rolls as they appear to be the house specialties and come in a variety of flavors. Overall a great place to dine, will definitely revisit the next time Im in VA Beach!!!

MY EXPERIENCE AT THIS PLACE HAS COME TO AN END!!! After years of enjoying fabulous Italian Desserts I will never again step foot into the store or purchase another item. Tiramisu to me means but one thing, delicious. For my 50th Birthday my surprised me with a Tiramisu Cake from Rigolettos. What we got was definitely not an Italian Specialty. The idea of thinking white cake and mascarpone make "Tiramisu" if definitely not in any Italian Cookbook. Needless to say, the cake was horrible!!! I felt a call to the restaurant and a conversation with the manager would be of some help to my dilemma, but sorry to say it was not. The cake made a nice addition to the trash can and I have taking my future business elsewhere. I did give 1 star, only because the cannolis were good. Dont bother getting anything else from this place.

This place has the worst service and food!!! My husband and I ordered two different meals... The food had no taste and a lot of water at the bottom of our bowls. When we asked to have our meals taken back and taken off the bill, we were told NO!!! Now I am sorry, but who does that? The owner came back and said she couldnt take the food off of our bill.. I said why? She said it is her rules? What ever happened to customer service? So it is more important to make a sale than a happy customer? DDD you definitely failed on this place... Piss poor service and really crappy food!!! Promise I will never be back or tell anyone about this place... $67 dollars wasted because the owner was basically insulted.. Not to mention the attitude of our waitress and crappy soda... lol
