Great little place. We were on our way home from vacation, when I searched food this cafe popped up. The reviews were great and the menu seemed awesome. So glad we stopped. Our food was yummy and a very reasonable price. Do note: due to the size of the location there is limited seating, and limited parking. We happened to find the last table and the last Parking spot. Due to the size and home made nature of the cafe you do need to wait a little longer for your food than a big chain restaurant, but its worth it. Well definitely stop by again next time were in OBX!

Interesting and delicious food items. Great for kids and the whole family. We stopped in today on our way home from a beach trip. We got the gravy fries, french onion soup, gyro, Mediterranean steak sandwich, and the kids got sliders and grilled cheese with cucumber salad. The food was absolutely fantastic. Everything that we ordered, even the kids grilled cheese, was amazing. French onion soup is my #1 favorite soup and their french onion soup is by far the best Ive ever had. We will definitely be making a stop to this place after every beach trip.

Absolutely amazing experience. Stopped here on our way to Pittsburgh from Duck. The restaurant is clean and extremely well kept. The owners are very welcoming and provide the absolute best customer experience. We had French onion soup, a strawberry mango salad (with grilled chicken), and a over easy egg sandwich with Pastrami. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. Pricing is very fair also! Dont know how often well be back to this area, but please believe we will be stopping here every time!

Unlike most other eateries in the area freshly prepared food seems to dominate the unusual menu here. The homemade pimento cheese and bacon sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and basalmic dressing was excellent, Greek salad with grilled chicken was also good. We were disappointed they had run out of Hatteras clam chowder, but the French onion soup was very tasty. No Bar, but a short selection of beer and wine is available. Recommended.

Wife and I stopped for lunch on a bike ride but had to catch the next ferry which left 30 minutes later. After explaining our situation they took our order, quickly prepared our meals and had us out the door in 10 minutes with lunch in hand to eat while we rode the ferry. How delicious the food was only capped it off. Well be back, but with more time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere!

Really great food and friendly local service. Will be back. Edit: On a recent visit, the food was excellent and a great value. The waitress was friendly and had great attention to detail. I had blackened chicken tortellini alfredo, and it was super. My son even commented on how good the grilled cheese was. Also there is an ice cream shop and a dessert case with great selection.

The food was awesome and the desert was amazing! We had the Mediterranean steak and the sun dried tomato chicken sandwiches and they were both awesome. So much flavor and very fresh. Home made potato chips tipped it off. The turtle chocolate cake and Rollo cheesecake were both fabulous as well. Service was very friendly. Great location right off rt168.

Great place, great family, great food. I live out of town but every time I go home to visit family, I know we will end up here for a meal and thats okay by me! Last time I was there, I had the special - bang bang shrimp in a pimento mac and cheese. It was amazing and a ton of food. Definitely a perk to visiting Currituck!

Just stopped for lunch on our way home from the beach. I love to stop and try out local spots. This is a hidden gem located just a block in from rt. 158. Food was delicious and not overpriced. I loved the decor. Very very clean cafe and staff was very friendly. Looking forward to coming back.

At the courthouse for business and everyone was out to lunch. Well im glad they were. I got my chance to visit Pass the salt cafe and it was great. Gyro, chip and my favorite drink IBC Black Cherry. I truly enjoy the atmosphere and service. I will return with my favorite guy on my next trip.

The kids and two adults and our plates were 100% empty because the food was SO DELICIOUS!!! We will stop here every time we come down to the OBX from now on. They were so wonderfully patient with the kids even though they were coming from being in the car for hours.

This place is amazing!!! The food was great, the sweet tea was perfect and the dessert case was impressive! 10/10 would recommend. The waitress on staff was working her butt off, and the food was hot, fresh and perfect when it came out. Well definitely be back!

A fantastic place to stop on the way to the Outer Banks. Healthy, widely varied menu. The steak sandwich, quinoa, and desserts caught my eye. Set in a thoughtfully refurbished historical house. I had a Cuban sandwich and loved it.

Just when you thought there were only chain restaurants right off 168 in Currituck, you find this excellent homey cafe that beats them all, hands-down.

Excellent tasty meal. Prices are great. Excellent little gem a stones throw from the Currituck Ferry. Dont miss an opportunity to be seated here.

This place has a different spin on down home cooking. Never had anything bad. Any place this far North that serves pimento cheese is all right.

Delicious food, amazing portion size. The burger is huge and incredibly good. Best food in a quaint environment. Will definitely be back!
