+JMJ...If I could give this eatery a ka-zillion star of approval rating, I would! Before moving to AZ, I was a patron of theirs for over twenty years. When I lived in Richmond, I went to their little Cafe at least once a month. Everything ordered was always fresh, always delicious: goat stew (rarely served), their mediterranean seasoned pizza, chicken, green beans, tomato, and onion side dish. One of my all-time favorites was the simple but delicious lentils, rice, and onion meal. This with a serving of lebne yogurt was a meal in itself. Anyone seeking a delicious, authentic Lebonese meal should stop by to eat in (love the traditional middle eastern music) or pick up a to go meal. Lastly, anyone who can cook middle eastern style will delight in their market. Be prepared to be welcomed by friendly staff, delicious aromas and music that will transport you to the Middle East.

We just went to the Mediterranean Bakery and Deli at 9004 Quiocassin Rd. This is a lovely resource for Arab Americans in the Richmond area, combines a takeout food service, sit down deli and grocery store. I am not Arab, but I love the food genre. We got two Chicken Kebab combination dinners and Hunter got a side of Hummus and Tabouli as well as a Lamb combination dinner. Flavors were fine, but one of the Chicken dinners was not cooked enough. Hunter said he got sick the last time he came, so we probably will not return for food. I did get four lovely spices, nice generous portions for 3.99 each, I got the Shawarma, Sfeeha, Biryani - hot, Tikka - mild. I hope to return for the grocery store aspect of the store. Price including spices was $40.97.

Im from Richmond originally, but I have a gallery in Blacksburg, and I actually made a trip to Richmond specifically to purchase your amazing baked pita chips for an art reception, and then realized I could order them .....Yay!!!!!!!! They are literally addictive in such a good way, and my staff and customers are so pleased that they will be a regular item at the receptions, I mean, we really cant live without them! Hmm..I will branch out and try the rest of your menu!!! Cant Wait! Thanks again for the stellar customer service, its a gift! Jakki

Everything that I have tried from this deli is delicious and they have a wide selection of ready made vegetarian foods like humus, tabouli, falafel, spinach fatayer and veggie meditarranean pizzas, and a great selection of bak-la-va and other sweets....The birds nest cookies are awesome and so are the grape leaves, the best I have ever tried! You try this deli some of the best food I have ever eaten. Much better than the 2M Deli which is overpriced and not as good.

Lovely food (get the gyro or any of the shawarmas or...anything from the menu, really), lovely store with excellent prices for such hard to find stuff, and lovely staff! Dont be discouraged if you cant pronounce certain things. The staff will happily help you along and even recommend items youd like to try. 5 stars out of 5, going back again soon!

Holy cow, this place is o e of my favorites. Been around forever. Really good Mediterranean food. You can order combos or buy hummus, feta cheese etc to go. The market has so much to offer if you want to cook up your own meal and its very reasonably priced. They often have fresh veggies for sale. The dolmades are to die for. Also great desserts.

Even if this place werent close to my work and home, I would make the drive often. I eat here once a week. I love the prepared foods and bakery items. The staff are always nice even though its very busy at lunch. Great spot and fortunately its not downtown, so you still have the chance to get in the door mid-day.

Nothing about this place is over the top or flashy but if youre looking for fantastic foods at reasonable prices then this is the place!

This is my favorite local fast food Arabic restaurant. A lot of great choices and value meal deals, as well as a huge selection of grocery items and quality ingredients like regional spices. The moussaka is my favorite. Also the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Med deli is the bomb! Go and find out. For me, its all about the prepared foods; when I visit for lunch, I order a couple days worth more on my way out. Do not leave without their signature pita, and do not underestimate the mujadara, its way better than it looks.

A great find - very unassuming storefront, but when you walk in there is a full deli counter with fresh made Mediterranean food from sandwiches (gyros) to sides (hummus and tabouli) and you can shop the little grocery while you wait. Staff is very helpful as well

This place is great! My fiancée and I are crazy about their pitas and fatayers. The grocery portion also offers a whole bunch of delicious foods and spices you cant get anywhere else in Richmond. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Ive eaten here two times now, and the food is wonderful. Enjoyed chicken fatayer this week, the spice made this a perfect dish. Previously had eaten the chicken shawarma, and again this was a flavorful, perfectly seasoned sandwich.
