DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY PROFILE THEIR CUSTOMERS. If I could give zero stars I would. When I last went to this Kroger to do some shopping I heard on the intercom a call for security to monitor the aisle that I was browsing in. This was particularly unsettling to me as I am a black woman, so I proceeded to speak to a manager to voice my concern. This manager, Arthur, was extremely rude to me telling me that my reaction was unnecessary and that I was wrong to feel profiled. Not once did he apologize for the announcement making me feel so entirely uncomfortable in the store and his tone was filled with such disrespect that I was in shock and disgusted with the management that I refused to continue to explain to Arthur just how uncomfortable the announcement had made me and how rude he was being as a manager of Kroger. Safe to say I will NEVER shop at this Kroger again and I urge everyone to think twice before they do. Publix and Wegmans have such better service, produce, and selection. DO NOT SHOP HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This location went from a 5 star location when Alice Jones was the manager to a 1 star location with its current manager. The prices have increased tremendously and arent in line with the prices at the other local grocery stores, Martins and Food Lion. This location doesnt price match. Therefore, if you see the price cheaper elsewhere, then you have to buy it at the cheaper place. The workers used to have a high morale and were very friendly and positive. Now, no one smiles, greets the customers, etc. The shelves are practically empty all the time. Items in the weekly sales ad are not available. If the items are available then theres one or two of that particular item. Message to management: Theres other grocers in the area and more coming coming i.e. Wegmans. Customers work hard for their money. This store location has changed tremendously and not for the good of the store and community. Ive shopped at Kroger over 25 years in various cities and its not the same.

I went to the Short Pump Kroger a few minutes ago to get some crabs legs because they were on sale. I ask the man behind the seafood counter if they could be steamed there . He tells me yes. Then he leans forward and says I just want to let you know that you cant buy the crab legs with the EBT food stamp card. I felt insulted as I live in Short Pump & had purchased seafood at the Short Pump Kroger many times without being told that. When his statement registered with me I politely walked away without the crab legs and asked to speak to the manager. I explained what happened to the manager, Melissa, who laughed then said excuse me for laughing. She proceeded to say the man was new. She asked if she could do anything for me however at that point it was too late. Just because I am black doesnt mean I am on food stamps. So, I ordered a cake two days before I needed it at Walmart. They called 10 oclock at night the day before I needed it to tell me they not only lost my picture for it but they couldnt do it because they ended up short staffed. ( This is after they confirmed they could when I suspected something wrong.) I called every store and no one could help me. I drove to this Kroger and the manager on duty was so kind. She asked me to call first thing in the morning to the bakery. I did and they are willing to not only help me with the cake but offerred a much better look to it. This is not the first wonderful experience I have had their. I believe I have chosen my birthday spot from now on!

This Kroger is my absolute favorite grocery store! The staff there have helped me numerous times, they have been overly generous and genuinely caring people. I know the stores layout and I personally find it easy to maneuver around in. The food I have never had one complaint about, I use the self checkout all the time with no trouble. Items for sale are clearly labeled, there is a discount aisle for products that have somewhat damaged packaging and you can buy items for a steal! Very clean, even in the restrooms. I love this store!

The pharmacy is usually fine. However, the last two visits have been a disaster. A new tech was obviously new. Theres nothing wrong with that. My complaint is that he was not ready to be alone. He needed someone to be by his side because he got flustered and held up the line. The latest issue was with a different tech. She seemed helpful until I started questioning a price. She refused to accept that it was a pharmacy error amd made excuses. My prescription cost was over the amount that they originally stated to me.

Kroger is my favorite super market. This one is clean and generally efficient. I did have a bad experience with the cashier over checking my $50 bills, making me feel like a criminal, and overly loud repeated he might not be able to take my money. Why? Because he was a complete moron who doesnt know what a fifty dollar bill looks like. It shouldnt take five minutes to accept my payment, with REAL money and not a lot of time. Other than that everyone is friendly and the store in cluttered but clean.

I ordered a cake a week in advance. When I showed up today, they had not made the cake and said it would be ready in 40 minutes. Once I finally did pick it up, it looked nothing like the design I had selected, but i had to get to my sons birthday party and could not wait any longer. Kroger has a lot more competition with all the new grocery stores opening up in Richmond. They better step up their game or they are going to lose a lot of business.

This is a huge and very busy supermarket. It has pretty much anything and everything you would imagine and American supermarket having. There is even a section of clothing. My son really likes the cards with the fake cars on the front that he can ride in, even though he might be a little bit too big. If this place was a little bit closer to my house and if it werent so busy all the time, I would go here much more frequently than I do.

She stopped what she was doing to answer my question, then walked with me to the customer service desk, restating what I needed, and then - returned later with the items I was searching for, telling me "Kroger will always make it right!" Produce section always stocked andfresh. My favorite. My husband loves the knowledgebase of cheese employee. Great value on different cuts of meat . Kiosk for deli is great. No more stsnd in lone. Continue to shop. Rewards savings on food and fuel. Oh and a wine bar. Mostly all employees are friendly and helpful.

The complete trendy supermarket (food as well as housewares, a bar where you can take a break and have a beer and a Starbucks coffee shop). One of the largest deli and prepared food areas of any supermarket. They always have numerous employees stocking during the day, particularly in produce and frozen foods.
