Weve been passing through Orange every few months for a couple of years and have tried many of the restaurants in the area. Most we would never go back to after the first visit. Today we tried Wise Guys for the first time. Wow, what a surprise! Its kind of like Five Guys, but on steriods. The burgers are HUGE, made fresh to order, and piled high with toppings. My husband mistakenly thought that the size of the burgers would be like Five Guys, so he ordered a double. There was so much meat that he couldnt take a normal bite, he had to eat it sideways. Take my advice and order a single. The salad was fresh and crisp. And although I didnt try it, the make homemade soup. We will definitely be regulars when we pass through town.

What a great find! My family of four loved it so much that we ate 2 meals there on a short weekend stay. The hamburgers were amazing--not your typical skinny meat patties. These are thick, juicy, and taste like you made them on your backyard grill. We added the swiss cheese, mushrooms and bacon and it was truly the best hamburger Ive ever had. The Wise guy (3 patties) was nearly unfinishable (my son ordered it)! We also ordered the sweet potato fries and they were thick, fresh, and delicious. You can get sugar or salt on them--either way is amazing. The ice tea was the perfect complement to our meal. The service was wonderful and the the restaurant was bright and cheery. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We went here because of the prior reviews, but I would disagree. Its average, with average food. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great either. The macaroni and cheese was a generic from the box mix, like Kraft. The ceasar salad was boring as well. The dressing was store bought and the cheese powdered from a shaker rather than shreddered. The burgers were basic and we could have made them at home. The fries were tasty though. With such a limited menu and high review, I expected more effort and less convenience.

This place has become one of my regulars. I have never been so thrilled to get a burger and fries than when I make a plan to go here. A wonderful little restaurant in a quaint town, Wise Guys not only offers delicious food, but strong character and charm. Housing a funny, friendly, crew of personable workers, it has skyrocketed to a place in my heart, and my stomach. I recommend this charming restaurant to not only visitors, but all of Virginia. Thank you Wise Guys for never letting me down!

OMG!!! Love this place!!! The staff is super nice and the cook is awesome. My brother and I went in for lunch one afternoon and I really wanted the veggie soup, only problem was that it had mushrooms which I am higly allergic to. We went back a few days later and the chef had changed the recipe not to include mushrooms. Trust rhe soup was well worth it.

My husband and i pride ourselves in finding great "hole in the wall" places to eat and our experience has shown us that these are the places that you get the most bang for your buck. If you are ever driving thru Orange, this is a must stop and eat here.....BEST PLACE EVER!! AND EXCELLENT STAFF!!

Passing through town, we saw this cool place and had lunch. The food was great, but the service was very poor. Didnt get us the right order and didnt make it right when confronted! There was apparently no one on site to formally complain to, so we reached out and were basically disregarded.

I love this place, good thing I dont live in Orange, it could easily become a new addiction. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon so good and the sweet potato fries are over the top with goodness. And they had actual sweet tea not that stuff you usually get around here.

Very juicy burgers and a wonderful new employee, as we were told, to greet us when we came in. Fries were homemade and tasteful. With the price, we thought the burgers were going to be smaller, but they were not. I really shouldnt have ordered the triple, lets just say that!

Delicious! Clean!And the staff was very helpful and attentive. I had a hot ham and cheese sandwich and my husband had a burger..made the way he wanted. We both were very pleased!! We are from out of state, but the next time we are anywhere nearby, we will eat at Wise Guys!

Live about 2 hours away and the food is phenomenal and I would definitely say they are much better than five guy! I got a double burger with Ketchup, swiss cheese, and bacon and a order of sweet potato fries with salt and I was very pleased

Burgers made to order. Fries cut in the kitchen from potatoes fresh! The food is worth 5 stars as far as burgers go, but parking is limited and seating could be more comfortable. So it got 4stars. The staff is friendly, clean and happy.

Not a happy customer, paid almost 18 dollars for 2 chilly dogs n 2 small drinks ... The chilly was hamburger meet in some dried sauce that tasted nothing like chilly. The hotdogs were ok but not worth over paying for them

Love the location. The burger and cheesesteak were messy to eat, but soooooooo goooooood. The fries were amazing - thin and well done, nicely seasoned. Place was clean and friendly staff.

Fries are thin and crispy! Which I believe is perfect! Burgers are juicy and greasy but in the way you want them to be! Worth a stop if you are passing through Orange.
