Seriously the best chinese food place Ive eaten at anywhere in this state. From Roanoke to Hampton Roads to Northern Virginia, nothing comes close to Asian Grill. Their lunch specials give you a plentiful amount of food for an extremely good price and their none lunch special prices are still very reasonable for the large servings. Their general tsos and orange chicken is always wonderfully crunchy on the outside while soft and tender inside. The crispy wontons and duck sauce they serve when you first get there is a wonderful touch that adds to the atmosphere and is a nice addition to the meal. Their Crab Rangoon is the perfect mix of crab and cream cheese to be both sweet and filling. No longer being able to walk and frequent the location is one of the things I miss having moved away after graduation.

We love Asian Grill! We found them by mistake about 5 years ago when we took our truck in to be serviced across the street. It was a off time, like 3pm, it was not busy at all! Once we found out they delivery it was a instant favorite! We have ordered faithfully ever since! I will say to get the best food you need to go in, or order when its NOT peak times. If you get battered/breaded it will be a messy grease dripping heart attack waiting to happen. We order fried items only mid day, first thing in the morning or late at night This has only been recent as they have gotten very popular in the area......If it was like it had been when we first started getting Asian Grill, you would have had a 5 star! ...Ohh if you love sushi this place has amazing fresh offerings!

Favorite date spot for my boyfriend and I. He always gets the General Tsos tofu, and I love the General Tsos shrimp, and pretty much everything else Ive tried there. Service is always great, even on slow nights, and I love the little free appetizer set out. I always leave full, yet still have so much leftover that I can take it home and have a whole meal. Do NOT let the front scare you away. It has a great atmosphere, its always clean, and even at its busiest it never seems to get obnoxiously loud or boisterous. A perfect place for a date or a quiet night out with friends

Service is ok except every time you try to talk to someone at the table the waitresses comes over and asks if you are finished. Like a vulture, even though my plate was still full of food. Not an enjoyable atmosphere to have someone standing in the corner constantly watching you eat. The boneless spare ribs were like leather with a crunchy skin and tasted a bit aged. The fried rice was good but the egg roll was cooked in old frying oil. The restaurant is really dark inside, so dark that I couldnt barely identify what was on the plate or the condition of the food.

FALSE ADVERTISING !!! I ordered their Seafood Delight which specifically says "crab meat". After the delivery driver took the money and left, I found that there was no crab meat, but rather those imitation pieces of goo that are painted to look like crab meat. I contacted the restaurant and they acted like its normal course of business to give people imitation food instead of whats listed on the menu. Today is Sunday, I will be reporting them to the Dept of Health and the Virginia attorney generals office for false advertising.

First time! And it was great!! Staff was very nice. We were going to have them deliver but since we are new to the area I wanted to see what the restaurant looked like. We went at night. It is more than take out. Its like a cozy restaurant. From what I think, they have a mini sushi bar where a couple was sitting not one hundred percent sure. But anyway yes I will be back!! We had general chicken, shrimp lo mein, & shrimp fried rice.

Although at a strip mall, the atmosphere is great inside! The food is basically a variety of Asian cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Thai) with a large selection of delicious meals, appetizers and soups at very reasonable prices. They also carry a small selection of Asian beers, wines and sake along with a few of the usual American drinks. Their sushi is incomparable! Ive never been disappointed by anything that Ive ever ordered.

Some of the best Chinese food Ive had in my life (aside from trips to Chinatown in NYC.) The $5 lunch special menu is one of the biggest bargains ever, and if you miss lunch theres the $6 combination plate with 1.5-2x more food. Had this been a year ago this place wouldve gotten the fifth star. Service has been lacking lately, they dont seem to take the same care with respect to wait times and such anymore.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!! THEY HAVE ROACHES! my sister, nephews, and I went there for a quick lunch and as we are sitting at the table my sister felt something crawling on her foot. We looked down and SEEN THE BIGGEST ROACH WEVE EVER SEEN IN OUR LIVES! the owner did not apologize and did not at least give a discount on our ticket. I will be calling the health inspector about this...DISGUSTING

I use to order Asian Grill all the time because they would deliver to my workplace, My husband and I just moved to Newport News and he was missing his favorite Chinese places in Portsmouth, I suggested Asian Grill. He just ordered there again today, 2 times this week! I think there food is prepared very fresh and its not soaked in grease and a lot of sauce which I like. There sushi is awesome too!

the delivery man showed up to my door and when open a gate would you not close it behine you he had left it open and before opened the door I asked him to close the gate but he wouild not do so and my dogs got out of theget and all he did was laugh at me because I had to chase me dog down and she almost got run over and he was still standing there at his car and laughing. Food is good though

Food was great. I had egg drop soup and sushi. All the food came out quickly, but with my wife and I being the only customers in the restaurant our waitress seemed to be preoccupied with other things and coworkers more than taking orders. Plates were removed before food was anywhere near finished. It felt like we were being rushed out of the establishment far from closing time.

Best Asian, Chinese and Japanese food. From the outside one may not know the true treasure within. They have a FANTASTIC selection of foods equal to California, New York or Washington state s best Japanese restaurants that I have gone to and the prices are great for even New Port News. I strongly recommend and I will be back!!!

I can see why this place got all 5-star ratings. Its a small/upscale place which got pretty busy last night, but the food and service was amazing. I had the general tsos chicken; the chicken was good quality, and the breading was light and crunchy. If I am back in that area, I will definitely be going back.

Food is great, and prices are good, but Delivery is the worst of the worst. Place the order at 11:36AM and still by 1:15 PM food hast arrive, call the restaurant back they said is on the way. The distance is 5 miles away !! How can 5 miles and 3 orders take that long? Not happy..
