Just came from Tropical Smoothie, and unfortunately bad experiences like mine are what inspire bad reviews. Ive gone here since the store first opened, and met the owners who were very cool and always greeted guests and asked how things were after getting orders. But now the place is run by high schoolers that give their friends free food. Friends of some of the kids working in the store came in and ordered after me. I got my smoothie, but food always takes a bit longer. I was sitting at a table, and my name was never called. A girl brought out two trays to the girls that ordered after me. All three of them looked surprised or confused as if they didnt know what they had ordered or who was supposed to get what. I had a feeling one of those girls got my order. I waited patiently to be sure. Still my name was not called. More people that ordered after me were getting their food. I went to the counter to ask about it, and waited a bit more for someone to return to the counter and acknowledge me. Finally i nudged in front of someone in line and asked about my order. The guy that originally took my order didnt know, went to the back and asked around. No one seemed to know, they all appeared confused. Sure, they were busy, but, as another young man behind the counter (i think hes a manager) told the customer next to me: "Were always busy." Apologies, and they told me theyd make my order again. I told them to make it to go. Sat back down to wait. After more people get their orders, i see the same girl that gave her friends my order bring a to-go bag to the counter, look around confused, apparently ask a few people something, then leave the bag on the counter, and return to the kitchen. My name was never called. Again. Annoyed, i approached the counter again, waited again for someone to emerge from the kitchen. It actually took one of the other waiting customers to mention they thought that it was my order sitting there, and then the kid taking orders had to ask me again what kind of chips i wanted. He tossed them into the bag with my chicken wrap. I picked it up, turned and left. He offered another quiet apology as i walked away. As i said, ive come here and enjoyed the place for a while. I write this to express my disappointment and annoyance with this particular experience, and perhaps have this young staff realize their mistakes. I could have easily made a scene in the store, but i held my tongue.

I come in to tropical smoothie almost every morning and depending on who is working depends on what my smoothies going to taste like that day. I always get a chocolate peanut butter cup and based on whos making it Ill either get just a plain peanut butter smoothie or like today I got a smoothie that tasted like a caramel frappe from Starbucks almost. I tried contacting topical smoothie after I left and nobody picks up the phone. Ive tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and be a loyal customer but I dont think Im going to be coming back anymore. The smoothies need to be consistent every time not different

I called the location to put in an order for pickup and no one answered the phone. I had called 3 times, so I thought maybe the number changed. Upon entering in the store I see 3 young ladies standing around just talking. So I had called the location again just to find out that the number worked and they were just being lazy and not answering the phone. Your staff have to do a better job. The reason for calling ahead is so that the customer can pickup and go.

Dont get me wrong i love their smoothies, but for some reason either the staff doesnt know the opening hours or they need to fix the hours in their window. Some days I can go in around 8:15, and sometimes I cant. The sign says Monday thru Friday theyre open at 7am yet today (a Thursday) I head up to the door and its locked, no ones inside. Hmmmm.... please get this fixed asap.

Joe at the cash register must have been having a bad Sunday, he was truly lifeless and with any customer service. The location was basically empty, maybe he was board. Just sucks that a person has to deal with attitudes from those in service roles. Maybe next time.

The staff were not very welcoming and seemed impatient. They also got our order wrong, appeared frustrated when told them, and we had to ask again after waiting for 10 minutes, for the correct order.

I love the tacos, but the missus usually gets a flatbread or two. Of course, we get a smoothie while were there, but because the price is reduced when buying a meal, that makes them healthier, right?

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE HERE!!! Great ambiance, employees are very welcoming and respectful. Store is always clean. Smoothies are to die for. Food is health and not pricey. HIGHLY Recommended.
