I am not a review writer...so this means a lot that i am writing one. The hubs and I from west Texas, more specifically San Angelo, Tx. And were giving El Charros 5 stars. Hers the breakdown. 2 stars for actually having Dos Equis on tap, 1 star for having white salsa, 1 star for great food, and the fifth start for immaculate bathrooms...clean bathroom = clean kitchen. Theres your 5 stars for small town restaurant. The closest thing weve found to home since leaving the west Texas wind in our rear view!

Great food & service! We thought they closed at 11 & got there at 9:40, to then see the sign that they close at 10. We were still welcomed in & seated & were in there past 10. Then we were told we didnt have to leave if we wanted to go to bar for a drink. We didnt leave til roun 10:40. They were so nice & the drinks were really good too. Definitely 5

I cant get enough of this place! I thought when I first moved here Pancho villa was my only option but their meat tasted like cat food and they didnt have any white sauce.. So I was sad but then I realized there was el charro and Ive been obsessed ever since. Great food, great staff, fast service, good drinks! Love the bar tender there.

It’s one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. There is nothing authentic about it. They have a white sauce they serve you that is honestly just tartar sauce. They charge you for extra chips?? I threw up on my way home after eating there. I would advise people to stay clear of it. Food and service is terrible!

Delicious, friendly, speedy, clean. Cant ask for anything more! To be 100% honest, El Charro isnt the absolute best Mexican food Ive had. Im a Texan, and its hard to beat some of the joints we have back home. But for Virginia, and especially King George, its darn good! Id even say its my favorite in Virginia.

Yum clean place with a nice atmosphere. Lively yet relaxed enough to allow you to feel comfortable. Food is great! Their cheese dip and white salsa are really tasty. Their regular salsa is very fresh. My kids and I love the food here whether we eat in or carry out we have always had good experiences.

Been eating here for about a year. The food is very good as well as the service. The only issue Ive had is getting take out. By the time the food gets home ~15 minute drive, the condensation inside the containers have turned everything mushy but I understand that is how take out is sometimes.

One star because it won’t let me give zero. The food was honestly horrible and the service was not that great. The waitress would disappear for a while and brought the wrong drinks. The menu had so much on it it was like reading a book to figure out what to eat. I will not be going back.

Food was delicious. Definitely one of the best I have been ti in a long time. Service was great, professional, polite. Didnt take long to get my food. For such a small town in the middle of no where this was a gold mine us. Pricing was great, definitely recommend! ;)

Really good fresh Mexican food. They make their own tortilla chips, salsa and guacamole. And the server staff was very friendly. I had a large Burrito and their fresh guac, and it was delicious and worth coming back again. And their prices were reasonable.
