Panera is one of the only places that has veggie sandwiches. I get the Mediterranean sandwich at other paneras all the time, and they are great. But the staff who makes the food here, are pretty horrible. The ingredients in the sandwich were tossed on it in less than 10 seconds, there werent any peppers or feta, and the sandwich was falling apart everywhere. To top it off, the plate was practically dropped onto the counter, leaving the sandwich hanging off of the plate. Heres the kicker. The pickle that is served with the sandwich was completely dried up and sour. Heres the 2nd kicker (yes, they managed to do so), the girl behind the counter made no eye contact, wiped her nose while making someones sandwich, and seemed like she hated the world. I gave the store a second chance today and ordered a grilled chicken caesar salad. The lettuce was old and turning a dirty green/brown color, and the croutons were hard as a rock (not even exaggerating.) Now Im not one to leave bad reviews, but when a place needs it, I will. And this Panera needs it. BADLY. The food is old and stale, poorly put together, and a few members of the staff shouldnt be there. I will never come back to this Panera.

I love Panera, but the Harrisonburg one is the worst Ive ever been to. Staff were rude and acted like I was in the way when I was trying to manage both platters of food from pick up area. No one bothered to help me and instead have me a snide look like I was interrupting their conversation. Same for when I was trying to get outside with my hands full, they just looked at me instead of helping open the door. They were also rude to a little kid asking where he got his drink. The food also wasnt fresh. My bread was stale and the salads had wilted veggies. Bathrooms seemed as if they hadnt been cleaned for weeks. Trash and grime everywhere. Go 30 miles down the road to another Panera or eat elsewhere in Harrisonburg.

This is a warning about the prize kiosk located in this store. Although it is made to look like a legitimate drawing operated by Panera, it is actually operated by a timeshare company. A very shady timeshare company. They have called me repeatedly, trying to get my wifes phone number, our credit card number, etc. Please understand that this is a scam. I called the store and told the manager. She said she was aware of what the kiosk was and that it was a partnership between Panera and the timeshare sales company. I told her that this reflects very badly on Panera, she didnt seem too concerned. Otherwise the people are super friendly and the food is always great. One of my favorite places.

Good, clean place to stop with lots of great options. While the portions arent particularly large, there is a great variety of food from breakfast (bagels, sandwiches, pastries) to lunch/dinner: macaroni & cheese, sandwiches, soups. Its a chain so its a little bland, but again a good value for the money. Kids/families will like the fast casual atmosphere and its definitely a step up in quality and cleanliness from those places that basically touch the highway. Located less than .2 mile from I-81 with lots of parking.

I have been going here for years. Today I got a sandwich which had rancid sauce on it. After one bite I lost my appetite so I took it to the counter. The manager opened the sandwich and tasted the sauce in front of me and said I was wrong. She refused to refund my money and was extremely rude. I have worked in the food industry before and they should of comped me and for certain should have not tasted it in front of me and then told me I was wrong. I will never go back as long as she is a Panera employee!

This location is difficult to get in & out of for sure at least while JMU students are in town. I really want to like this brand, but they have removed the paninis I like. $9 caesar salad used to be more than I can eat. It seems to be smaller & smaller every time I go. Plus this visit I got 2 of the little cups of dressing, but they were both an 25% full, it only covered about 10% of my salad.

We also came in on Friday night 1/2 an hour before closing and service was excellent. We had our first experience in Cranberry Township, PA and loved it so we brought the whole family. We werent sure what to order buy the lady who took our order was very patient and very helpful. The food was amazing in appearance and taste! Highly recommend!

No matter how many of these I go to, they always look and feel the same. Though it saved me by feeding me dinner and breakfast in a completely new-to-me town during my BRP ride- I knew the food would be clean, well prepared and lack the same flavors like in all the Paneras. Consistency is key.

$30 for two plates, both 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad, their pick two options. Terrible. Barely warm paninis, very little on the sandwiches themselves. First time Ive ever been to Panera. Last time Ill ever go to Panera. Traveling and should have searched some better options. Mistake

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST Panera I have ever been to. I would have rated it with NO STARS but I needed to add one in order to add comments. The souffles were burned, my kids sandwiches were burned and they couldnt get the orders right. Horrible way to end our vacation!

Spacious dining area, ample parking space and fast service makes this location a good choice for people wanting to grab a quick bite but tired of the usual fast food chains. Many healthy options for people counting calories, too (listed in menus).

I like their food even though it is on the expensive side. I only get take out. Dealing with the traffic is a pain. Its crowded and where its located makes it difficult to get in and out. But I enjoy the food enough to tolerate the hassle.

Slow service due to employees on cell phones behind the counters and socializing. No one was wearing gloves, watched them handle my food with bare hands. It was all very unprofessional, we were not happy and will not be back.

I love Panera, it is starting to get more expensive but the food is good and for me the money is worth it. Pepsi products, great sandwiches and salads and soups. Free WiFi, gets super crowded on the weekends though!

Nice ambience and good service as usual. Had a half modern Greek salad with quinoa which was tasty but i would be exagerating if i said there was MAYBE a level tbs of quinoa lurking in the bottom of the bowl.

This is the hangout for college girls! We ate there during a campus visit and clearly students flock to this Panera. Same wonderful menu and great salads as usual for this national chain.
