I was happy with my experience here. Came in for a late breakfast after having a bit to much to drink last night. The prices are fair and the food is good. I had French toast and 3 cups of coffee for under 6 dollars. The French toast was delicious and more than I could eat. They definitely cater to their core customers which are the elderly locals who frequent this place. A heavily tattooed guy as myself got a few looks when I walked in but everyone was polite. There are bible verses all over the place which is annoying but not enough to turn me off. It took a few minutes more than expected to get my food but the waitress kept apologizing and refilling my coffee. The French toast was good and more than I could finish. I will probably frequent this place now that I have moved here permanently. Seems like a good place to grab a cheap but tasty meal after a long night hauling Feed through the mountains.

My husband and I went to C&S Diner several months ago . We waited for a long time the waitress seemed to be waiting on everyone but my husband and I She seemed to know these customers . Sorry it was our first time and our last . She came over and waited on us . It took a while to get our coffee , didnt seem like anyone else had any problem getting coffee . Wish we hadnt order it bad coffee . Took a few sips just couldnt stand the taste . By this time other people had come in got their drinks and had received their food . We waited for a while decided to ask for our bill which took no time to get paid it and left . Worst experience I had trying to get food . The only reason this got one star the review wont let you put less .

Came here with my boyfriend a few days ago. The diner itself is adorable -- very homey with old fashioned pictures and paintings on the wall. We were excited, since mom-and-pop diners are a rare find these days. But the food was only okay. The bacon tasted like it was deep fried, the home fries were flavorless and kind of slimy, and my boyfriends ham steak tasted like salt with an extra side of salt. I really wish we had enjoyed it, but we were very disappointed. The only food I enjoyed was the scrambled eggs.

Good place for lunch. Great place for breakfast. Table tops were super clean. Food was fast and the prices are great. These posts about the place not being clean have never been to the country before and should probably stay in the city. Seems like they will do whatever you want. Want gravy on your fries feel free. This is my new Tuesday place since thats when Goodfellows is closed.

I was on a road trip and this place was my lunch. Food was an 810 and customer service was a 1010 also decor was a 910 it was more of a tavern but it was great. If you are ever are ever in elkton stop buy its worth it trust me.

Place is in borrowed time. Owner lost lot of clients since threatened to charge long time patrons for staying too long. Food terrible, service worse. Not the cleanest joint around.
