Nutty irishman was tasty, turkey egg and cheese bfast sandwich wasnt bad though not totally hot all the way through. I tried to connect to wifi (with password given to me by employee). Kept getting an error, that i should try to move closer to router. Might explain why everyone with a laptop is on one side of the coffee shop. Really should invest in a router that will cover whole shop. Update: Went back and ordered a french press for two. $5 and its a good amount of coffee (2 mediums), decent taste. Barista was friendly and gave us almond milk when i asked for alternatives. Though kinda annoying, we had set up laptop and were clearly getting it for here but she brought it out with two paper cups instead of mugs. I could have asked, but i dont think i should have had to. Still, friendly service and solid coffee.

Totally disappointed. The coffee shop refused to honor the prices listed on their price board saying that the prices are out of date (say what?? how does that work...). There was no other price listed ANYWHERE for a large Nitro Cold Brew coffee. Despite my objections to "why are you charging me a price different than the listed price", I ended up paying an extra $1.25 over what the coffee was supposed to cost (listed at $4.50 - Paid $5.75). Not sure where this arbitrary number came from, but clearly customer service is dead. Atmosphere was nice though and the coffee shop was fairly empty on a Saturday afternoon. Coffee was fine too. I have had better coffee at the new Market Commons coffee house and restaurant that just opened in Clarendon. Go there unless you like being scammed.

Update: theyve changed their name (and maybe management?) so my review might not be accurate anymore... Atmosphere and decor is great. Super cute, hip, trendy looking. Terrible service, food, and coffee though. Girl at the register seemed more interested in hole punching the loyalty cards than helping us. The food, like Starbucks, tastes like its from a package and nuked (which is fine, Im not above microwaveable foods) but they choose the worst type of bread (On breakfast sandwich) for microwaving! Its like a hamburger bun, so after its cooled down, its as hard as a rock. We left feeling they didnt really care about us being in there. It wasnt even busy! We live so close; we really wanted to like this place... but oh well.

Clearly better than Starbucks, but not an artisan coffee shop of the likes of la colombe etc. I got a single espresso and it was above average, but certainly not great. The interior is nice but a bit corporate feeling. Sorta like how Starbucks feels corporate but made to look local. As far as I can tell, this is probably the best coffee youll find in Ballston (along with buzz). The workers seemed pretty nice. Ill definitely be giving it a few more tries.

This is a hidden gem in the heart of Ballston! Its never busy and they have great coffee (and tons of latte flavors, if you like sweet coffee drinks!). They also have outdoor seating! The pricing is on par with Starbucks. It is tricky to find it if youre not from the area - you have to walk into a courtyard behind Nandos. Follow the signs for Rock n Joes (their old name). I meet with clients here often! Definitely worth a visit!

One of my favorite study spots in Ballston. Love the vibe. Its elegant inside. The coffee and service is good. And they have a rewards system (punch card), which I appreciate as a broke graduate student. In fact, I would rather walk past a few coffee shops on my to Rock n Joes because of the rewards system. They offer free wifi too.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, they answered all my questions about their coffee . The nitro cold brew is highly recommended. Try the Vietnamese if you like it a little sweet and the regular nitro cold brew if you like it black. Glad we stopped in this morning.

Awesome coffee and awesome staff. They even take my insulated Yeti and warm it it up with hot water when o never even asked them to. If youre in the area stop by...you wont regret it.

The flat white here is the best I have ever had. Better than Starbucks and other coffee shops flat whites. If youre a big fan of rich and smooth espresso and coffee, this is the spot.
