First let me apologize for not taking a pic of the "italian hoagie" i purchased today. Also the pic onthe google profile is not how the place is set up..very deceptive pic. This place IS NOT the Italian Store chain.type of sandwhiches..its owner is Greek..whose capitalizing on location location. They dont have Gouda cheese and as another patron sd " banna peppers, instead of italian peppers...what the !# . The desert case is tempting with all the deserts..but taste is yuk!!!!!. I got a slice of Key lime cheese cake with my order. The key lime was a gelatin ghostbuster green slime ontop of what was suppose tobe cheese cake..zero key lime taste...and it didnt even taste like a plain NY style cheesecake..just a creamy no taste whateva!! Every Menu sandwhich is provolone and .prosciutto ham which is odd.. No swiss or other cheese or meat unless you self create your own. So i decided to order a,VA ham and swiss sub. The preparer i thought was gonna either shave the cheese and meat off the block but instead...searched underneath the sandwhich station to find the Va ham..which was wrapped in aluminum foil!! The cheese was..,American white not the swiss i ordered. The ham had that begining too spoil taste ( hint foil spoils the meat). I would give it zero Stars. So the people who paid $9 for an 8 inch fake italian sandwhich and rated this place more than 1 Star..do me a favor..go visit the Italian Store in Fairfax, Va off of jermantown rd..then come back and re-rate this place because you obviously have never been to an italian deli in New York or atleast a place that trys to get close to that quality.

I really wish I could go in there and be able to have the same experience everyone else has! Today is 3rd time, 2nd time mistakes made on my sandwich and it was just ok anyway. But I keep saying I will go back again they are new. I thought 3rd time is the charm! Easter day no one in there and just a simple order. I walked in and stood at the counter facing a person behind the counter for at least one minute while she was to busy on her cell phone to acknowledge me, then my sandwich was wrong again! It was also so over soaked with oil and vinegar that is basically all I tasted. I asked how the potatoes salad was and if it is homemade answer yes.... way too sweet its just ok and tastes like salad I have bought at Costco. For an Italian Deli I expected something better. Oh well I will not be going back but I am happy that so many others can get great items there.

Stopped by with my wife around 3 PM, ordered up two Italian sandwich specialties: a Milano and Spicy Italian. Service was fantastic, the sandwiches were prepared with fresh ingredients, and we picked two Snake Dog IPAs to wash down the meals. Though we were full and thoroughly satisfied - my wife suggested we try a Cannoli for desert - that was the knock out punch.....outstanding Cannoli, its a must have. Great dining experience overall - well be back.

Went on opening day and ordered an 8" Jersey Boy sandwich. Sandwich had a generous amount of meat, and overall was very good. They do use banana peppers in place of Italian peppers though, which was surprising. The menu is large and features non-Italian sandwiches as well. Service was a bit slow, but I expect they will work out the kinks. This a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Honesty, it isnt quite 5 stars. Better bread would have done that, but real good bread is rare outside a few cities (New Orleans...) But this is a local non-chain, with a nicely varied menu - sandwiches, hoagies, decent salads, plus some hot food options like spaghetti or lasagna. The hours are 7-7 during the week. Apparently they have omelettes in the morning.

This place is great! I cant here yesterday because it was walking distance to my hotel and I wanted something quick. What I got though was one of the best meatball subs Ive had in a while. So I came back tonight and tried the spaghetti and meatballs with their Greek salad, and was really impressed. Dont pass this place up!

The only real deli In Pentagon City. All their sandwiches are really good. The cheese steak and Reuben are amazing.

Good offerings, still getting their bearings but worth getting a sandwich. Not open late, so get in early.
