Food was very mediocre. Ordered steak and eggs and was not impressed. Seemed like someone just brushed the toast with the fake liquid butter stuff, potatoes were hardly seasoned as was the steak. They didnt even try to at least put some montreal steak seasoning on it or something. About the only thing right was the eggs. They served me water in a cup that was very chipped and pitted, it was kinda disgusting. Spoke very quickly, hard to understand, very pushy to take my order. After I finished my food, I sat there for 30 minutes looking for my server. I did want to order dessert, but not after that wait. The folks in the table behind me seemed to be receiving the same poor service as well. I finally got fed up and went to the counter, complained about the service and they really didnt even seem to care. Just nonchalantly said Im sorry, do you want something? Its as if theyve given up on even trying to provide good service and are just going to give free things instead. They claimed to be busy, restaurant wasnt even half full. Would not come back.

When we first arrived the Latin guy with spiky hair who seats people acted like a total prick towards our group. He topped off his dismissiveness by giving me a weird look and just saying "OK" after I said thank you for seating us. That was very uncalled for. This guy should be working in the back. The interior design does not live after its namesake and the audible sensation we experienced will bring you back to the ever so hectic kids birthday parties. Which was weird because everyone in the seating area just happened to be screaming adults. We ordered a patty melt and a crab cake sandwich. They were marginally good. The up-charge for onion rings brought on a meager 4 rings. Wow. Thank you. They werent very good either. The iced tea was of the powdered variety which left a bad after taste. If you are in a mood for a diner you should just head down to Barnside closer towards 395. Or better yet just visit PA or NJ. Bad experience.

Consistently bad service, consistently bad food. Its the type of place to go if you want to be left alone for great lengths of time and interrupted at the worst possible intervals. Want to tell your mom and pop that youre a lesbian, your "roommate" is your wife, and youre pregnant thanks to IVF and a really good friend? Thats when the waitress will finally show up to interrupt you and ask if you want anything else and (FINALLY!) refill your coffee. Youll need to get up and chase her down for more cream though, and jack more sugar from another table. If you send something back, chances are youll still be paying for it even if it was utterly inedible. Theres a decent looking bar at the back of the place. I dont know when or if they use it. Its nice though, so maybe theres a nightlife to the place. If its anything like a.m. breakfast though, your drinks will be gross, poorly and sloppily mixed, served ambivalently, and overpriced.

I checked the website before going to the JBC & it looked good. Wrong! The Asian lady who looked like a boss did not smile, gave me a menu & was very rude. She sat me in a booth with the center vinyl pulled off; gross. I sat on the other side which was just cracked. I ordered 2 eggs medium well, hash browns crispy, bacon crispy & rye toast brown. The eggs came almost over easy, bacin cold, hash browns limp & rye toast white. I told the Asian lady & she took the plate back, but looked unhappy. She brought it back & the toast was burnt & black, same cold bacon, eggs hard as a rock & hash browns were apparently put back on grill with old oil. All tasted greasy & nasty, like old reheated food. I refused to eat the mess, paid for my diet Coke & left. They did not care whether I was satisfied. That was the first & last time I go to that dump.

I really dislike this place. My co-workers and I decided to order delivery and it took them more then A HOUR to bring us the food. Added to that I called asking why it was taking forever and they told me that they were gonna be here in a bit. 30 minutes later my co workers calls them and they tell us that we had given them the wrong number and address. My question is why did they say the food was gonna be here in a bit, when supposly all the information was wrong. When the food gets here its very cold and they even forgot my bosses fries even if they had charged it. VERY BAD not going to order from this place again.

I wanted to like this place, since I drive past it all the time. I found the environment and furnishings to be shabby and uncomfortable. The gentleman who seated me continually had an angry look on his face, almost snarling for some reason. He took a hostile attitude when I provided my order, and when he brought the food, he actually slammed the plate down on the table in front of me. I saw him gently and smilingly placing plates down for another party whom he seemed to know. I wanted to walk out but I needed a meal and didnt have time to go somewhere else. The food was mediocre. I wont be back.

I read the reviews and my son also told me it was not good. But my husband and I went to see for ourselves. I think it was because they had just opened that reviewers gave them bad ratings. Today my husband and I tried it for the first time. Very nice service! Clara our waitress was excellent! The food was good. My burger was a good burger cooked exactly the way I asked for it to be cooked. My husband chicken sandwich was also very good. The prices are great. It is such a neat looking place. I think it is hard when you first open. You have to build up a good staff. It looks like they are.

was quite surprised i had no food poisoning! ordered eggs bennedict: english muffin:stale, egg+bacon a weeeeee bit sour combination (hence the potential food poisoning scare), runny hollandaise, stale breakfast potatoes the other customer: pancakes were stale... makes me think they prep the WRONG foods! english muffins, pancakes and potatoes dont take that long to cook...and breakfast in NOT hard to cook in general! (oh...we got coffee refills...no water refills though...service: greeted too late at the door ...asked for order WAY to fast -3 seconds after we got to sit...timing, timing, timing!)

One of the worst diners in the area, especially the service. We ordered over-easy eggs; they were served to us very watery. We ended up having a diaria for two days. The owner/manager also exhibited a very hustling-conduct with us when we asked him to substitue with another item. At first he said its okay, but when he handed us the bill, he said its extra. I would never eat at this diner again nor recommend it to anyone else.

Service was great not going to lie there BUT the food was horrible I ordered the NY steak and it had zero taste no flavor and it seemed like it was taken out of the freezer and just straight to the pan it lacked seasoning my friend got wings but the sause smelled weird and also tasted weird for it to be spicy and my other friend got the philly cheese steak it had no flavor whatsoever worst food ever but service is good.
