The rating is based on how I remember the restaurant as I was a kid, so dont take it as fact now. Il Forno was originally owned by this older man whose pizzas were hand tossed by his expert pizza maker. He moved the business, along with his pizza maker to Lewes DE and opened Mr. Ps Pizza and Pasta around 2001, where he had a custom wood-oven made and became known as the best pizza in town. Unfortunately hes since passed and the business has changed hands.

We stopped here after reading the Google reviews. We were traveling from out of town and had no idea where to eat. The restaurant was completely empty so we were a little apprehensive ... I am so glad we tried it! The owner served us and he was so nice. My kids devoured the pizza and my husband loved the lamb dish. What a great find after a long day sightseeing in DC!

I have never had such a pour experience in all my years of dining. Im surprised this place stays in business with the poor customer service. Also expect to have your car towed. If you have any shopping to do across the street after dining.

Great Indian food and pizza. I usually do carry out but eating in is good too. This place is never busy and the owner is super nice. I especially like the samosas with tamarin sauce, baingan bharta (eggplant) and their garlic/sausage pizza.

Samosa , pizza and kachori is grtttttt.Thats all.If u say order something else n say u dint like the food they will ask u " Do u know what ingredients r there, do u know how to cook this??? blah blah blah" so never comment anything.

I love their pizza, I havent had the Indian food. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the quality has been inconsistent, if you like garlic this is the pizza for you.

Been eating there for years. Large Vito with extra garlic. They added Indian a few years ago. But my pizza remains the same and great.

Borderline inconceivable value. Delicious and authentic Indian food with plenty of spice. 50 cent samosas. Do it.
