VERY DISAPPOINTING, to say the least. I called a month in advance to see if it was possible to place a custom order for unicorn sugar cookies for my daughters 1st birthday party. I was told to bring in the cookie cutter, along with a picture of what I wanted and that they would be able to make them. I brought in the cutter and was then told to email the photo to their decorator. I called to double check a few days later that my email had been received, and to also get a final price. I then called 2 days before my daughters party to confirm and to get a pickup time. They said since it was a Saturday to come in anytime between 10am and 2pm to pick them up. I told them that my daughters party was at 2pm, so theyd have to be picked up earlier and again they reiterated that I could pick them up at 10am. Day of the party, my husband went to pick them up at 10am, and they were not finished. The girl at the front said that they had tried multiple times calling the number that I wrote down on the bag with the cutter, to no avail. I never wrote down my phone number. I sent it in my email. Then, the girl told me it was probably my phone since when I had last spoken to her I said my phone was acting up. I never said that. Each time I called on my work phone, which is a land line. I understand people make mistakes, and obviously somebody within their bakery wrote my number down wrong, but why lie to me about calling me, or that my phone is acting up? Check my email. I asked the girl if I could get a discount or refund of any sort since they werent ready when they said they would be, and she said no. She actually laughed and said no, because it wasnt 2pm yet. She told my husband to come back at noon.He went back at noon, and they were finished alright. They looked as if my 1 year old daughter could have frosted them better. We reluctantly handed them out as favors, and everybody stated how ugly and stale they were. This top pic is what I showed their decorator what I wanted, the bottom one is what they did.

I went to Toppers because I thought I would support more of Ogdens local owners. However, I was very disappointed. I went in 3 weeks before the day of the event to get a custom order cake for a baby shower. I gave them a picture and told them that I needed the wording in Spanish. I gave them a date and pick up time of 10AM. When I arrived at 10AM the day of the event to pick up the cake, they told me it wasnt ready and that she needed an extra 10-20 minutes. Annoyed, I said it was ok and went to go do other things in preparation for the event. I arrived two hours later to find an ugly cake waiting for me. The colors of the cake were wrong and the wording was in English and Spanish. I didnt mind the wording, but the cake color was the most upsetting because I printed out a picture of what I wanted; the colors were vibrant and you could tell it was yellow not white. I didnt complain because I had to get moving. Besides the design was pretty close, it was just the cakes base color that was wrong. I didnt think more of it and paid for it, which the price wasnt bad for a custom cake. But it got worse! When we went to cut the cake it was not what I ordered!! I ordered a chocolate cake and it was a white cake!! It was dry, no flavor!! I called to complain about the order on Monday and was told they could do nothing about it, I could call again the next morning and complain to someone in charge. I was really upset that they didnt show empathy towards the situation. I do not recommend this place. Rather pay a bit more to get exactly what I order. Will never order from here again.

We called several months prior to our June 29th wedding to ask about ordering slider sized buns/rolls. They said the made them and that they only needed a few days notice. We called 3 days prior to the event and placed an order for 300 slider rolls for a total cost of around fourty-two dollars (what a bargain)! Saturday morning my fiance went golfing with his friends before going to pick up the rolls on his way to the venue. They called him three times that morning asking when he would be there because they would like to go home. He assured them that he would be there before their posted closing time of 2:00pm. When he got there they set 300 hamburger buns in front of him, not slider buns. He informed the lady that we had ordered sliders, knowing that with the hamburger buns the chances of us being low on meet was high. She rudely replied that he ordered hamburger buns and that the total would be in the neighborhood of one-hundred dollars not the fourty-two we had been told before. Eventually, the woman told him coldly that he had two options pay the 104 dollar bill and take the roll or not. We ended up with hamburger buns, which were in all honesty very tasty but the service left a very sour tast in our mouths. We will not be a patron of Topper Bakery again, based purely on the staff that we rude to my husband through the multiple phone calls demanding he pick them up so they could leave early to the lack of customer care when a mistake had been made. Take your money somewhere they will treat you fairly.

I first called Topper to see if they could do a custom cake, I was relieved to have finally found a bakery that could make the cake that I needed. They made it affordable, and i sent a picture to the cake designer to verify what i wanted done. She was nice, and took down everything i wanted, gave me a good price and i agreed to pick it up a few days later. when i got there, they had the cake sitting out and i pointed out the colors were wrong, and the bow was also wrong, he apologized and mentioned that the designer wasnt in that day. I accepted it anyways considering it was the day of the event. When i showed the cake to my wife, who was the reason for the event, she was not happy with the cake at all, and was upset that we paid what we did for the poor design and wrong color of the cake, I called and spoke to the owner of the bakery and they informed me that it wasnt their fault, because the bottle said hot pink (the color on the cake was very very pale pink) and that they wouldnt do anything for me. The customer service was good at first, but when called upon for a complaint they were rude, and inconsiderate about the issues. I never got it taken care of

Ordered my sons birthday cake a month in advance and asked for a double layered cake with raspberry filling and to have whipped cream frosting and not buttercream which is terrible. The lady at the counter must have been on drugs or something because she kept asking the same questions over and over which I just thought was making sure of no mistakes. She said she was not sure if the baker could do the whipped frosting and I told her if they could not to call me and I would figure something else out. The price was 45 dollars which was high but for custom I was fine with. Needless to say they never called me and when I went to pick up the cake it was buttercream and they spelled my sons name wrong. They didnt even offer to lower the price for the mistake. I ended up taking the cake and also picking another up from walmart with whipped frosting and correct spelling for less money. Trust me dont go to this place they should really close their doors.
