Unlike most local coffee shops in downtown Ogden the Coffee Compound carters to wide variety of customers. As an Ogden native Ive been to many of the places that offer refreshments. The Coffee Compound stands above them all. There are menu options for those who desire gluten free foods. If youre a busy business executive whose time is worth big money, the Coffee Compound has a drive through. No need to waste time finding parking, walking inside, then waiting for your coffee. Just drive up, order, receive your cup of joe and be on your way in a flash. Another thing that sets the Coffee Compound apart from other shops is it has dedicated parking. Parking is a worry free endeavor because it has a parking stalls reserved for customers. No need to come back to your car after getting a dirty chai to be greeted by a fine waiting for you on your car. The ambiance of the Coffee Compound is warm and welcoming. The decor changes seasonally and it always a fun sight to see upon entry. Theres tables, both indoor and outdoor, comfortable couch, or cushy chairs to sit on as you enjoy excellent coffee. Noteworthy is the small library near the entrance. Just grab a book, order a drink and relax. If youre a visitor to Ogden the location is great. Its near the modern attractions on Kisel Avenue and a short jog from Historic 25th Street. For the people still dedicated to Pokémon Go like myself, it has a Poke Stop. Stop in, get hydrated, spin that Poke Stop and continue your Pokémon Journey better prepared. The Coffee Compound is environmentally friendly! All the of the to go cups Ive seen are recyclable. If you eat inside the dishes are durable and reused after being cleaned. If youre concerned about your carbon footprint you can drink your coffee guilt free there. The staff are friendly and courteous. I have a disability and Im treated like a regular person. You are treated like a person, not a means to make more money there. A final note is that the Coffee Compound has some of the most amazing themed restrooms. Always clean and well maintained, the bathrooms are a good place to make a pit stop after you down some chocolate covered coffee beans. It should be noted that you must be a paying customer to access the bathrooms. However thats the industry standard in Downtown Ogden. I highly recommend this coffee shop above all others.

My fiancé and I were stopping by before needing to be somewhere. We just ate breakfast so we werent feeling a heavy coffee right away. The lady stared at us the whole time even after I told her we would be here a whole and get something later. Then she came over to where we were sitting and tried to take our order and we said we would let her know. My fiancé needed to use the restroom and one of the staff tried to give him a key and then he lady stopped at him and said the key was in the register and you had to pay to get it open??? The key was literally in the mans hand. I got a small coffee later because, like I said, I was planning on ordering just not right away. The coffee is okay. But I will never come here again because we were treated as a burden and an annoyance.

The drive up window is a bonus to the * already great * coffee shop! They are friendly, fast, and convenient. I like my coffee frozen and blended (frappe) & they make frappes!!! The only downside so far is they dont show the flavor options on their drive up menu so I typically get my default flavor of Carmel which is delicious but sometimes id like to try new flavors. Sure, I could ask * which Ive done before * but remember, we are talking about coffee and this exchange happens first thing, so my brain isnt always capable that early, without coffee, to make that happen! Theyre a little high on pricing imo (in line with Starbucks) $6 for a 24oz. But they are good!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a coffee shop. My mom and I walked in, and we were completely ignored no menu to look at while we stood there being ignored, the customer in front of us had already placed her order, yet the woman behind the counter stood there talking to her for a good solid 10 minutes. There was another guy working, still nothing.... So we walked out. Drove to another local shop and it was night and day difference!! As new comers to Ogden, we know where NOT to go get our coffee!!!

Friendly and good product. I would like to defend them regarding the two "bathroom key" reviews. This is downtown Ogden, a hub for transients and street people. Its just a given and its a matter of consideration to the owner that if you want to use the bathroom, be a paying customer first. Its just a common sense courtesy. Hope you give them another try, it is a good experience.

I decided to try a new coffee spot this morning. I got a white mocha latte, it didnt disappoint. It was very good and they give you 5 shots in the large size! That is awesome! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner went out of her way to ask if it was my first time there and what I thought of my drink. I thought that was cool. Ill definitely be returning =)

The only place I go for good coffee and atmosphere...friendly staff... fun place ... something fun always going on ... check it out. I won the Elvis Presley drawing this month and went home with a nice coffee/cocoa set with Elvis on it.. Convenient drive up and predictable hours. Good drinks and reasonable prices. Dont miss out on this one.

Best coffee in town. Great atmosphere, place to hang out and talk. The owner is super friendly and so are the baristas. The couple of negative reviews are by people wanting free things. It is stated twice, before entering, that the restrooms are for PAYING customers only. Which is a logical Policy for downtown Ogden.

Was stared at by woman behind counter. Told her multiple times that we would be buying something later and wanted to wait. Saw employee get a key to let me use the restroom, then same woman stopped him, then lied and said that I had to purchase something because the key was in the register. The key was in his hand!

As the owner and operator, I strive to make this the best coffee experience possible. My staff and I are willing to do whatever we can to make that happen. If there is ever any problem, my personal contact information is available in the store. Simply give me a call and I will do what I can to make things right.

Didnt like the costumer service at all. Some lady wouldnt even let me pee after I had told her I would buy something and I would leave my debit card with her. Just because of that I will never recommend this place such rudeness and stuck up behavior.

The staff is really friendly, and the drinks have more coffee than milk, which is hard to find these days. Its awesome to be able to get a latte that actually gets you going, without having to pay for extra shots. Awesome place!!
