I am an executive assistant and I will NEVER use kneaders for any of our catered events/lunches ever again. Even if it is requested. I think this is my first review I have ever written... ever. I called at 7am requesting a continental breakfast for pick up at 9am. When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone I explained how important it was that my order was ready by 9am. I was assured this would be no problem. When I arrived at 9:00 my order was not ready. When I explained again how important it was that they expedite to process, they reacted with not real sense of urgency. They also started brewing the coffee for my order after I got there. I was bringing food in for a very important meeting full of executives from both the company I work for and one of our key business partners. I left kneaders at 9:20. The meeting this food was for started at 9:30. Fortunately someone at the office covered for me. But the food was there late. I understand that things go wrong but the lack of real effort to help me get my order was disappointing. They didnt care or work any faster and they seemed more concerned about the people who came in after me. Food may be good but the service is terrible. If you need some reliable catering/to go... stay away and go anywhere else.

I agree with a previous poster who said they loved Kneaders, just not this one. My husband and I ordered breakfast and after 20 minutes passed (and after watching 4 customers who ordered after us get their food) we asked where our food was. No apology, just a "go sit down and well bring youre food when were darn good and ready" attitude. Even a fellow diner noticed that wed been there forever without getting our food and offered to ask where our food was. We decided to wait it out. When I finally got my omelette, it had large chunks of a black rubbery substance in it that I guess were mushrooms. The eggs in the omelette were mostly brown and the whole mess was completely inedible. My husband offered to share his french toast with me. It tasted good enough...but was hard as a brick on the outside. The store itself was moderately clean, but my table had some sticky on it. I would have asked for someone to wipe the table down if I wasnt getting the clear message from employees that I was already in enough trouble for asking where my food was. DO NOT go to this location if you want a good Kneaders experience.

My daughter introduced me to Kneaders several months ago. Her recommendation was the turkey cranberry croissant. It was incredible! Since Kneaders is the most convienient restaurant to my house (we live in Suncrest) my family and I eat there often. We have tried several things on the menu and every single thing is better than the next. Their desserts are very large portions and are sooooo yummy. The carrot cake and bread pudding are my favorites. For breakfast their chunky cinnamon french toast is the best Ive ever eaten! I have never had a single thing there that isnt delicious. Also, they recently did a large order of cannoli for an event that I was attending. It needed to be ready at 8:30 in the morning. Not only did they have it ready on time, but they delivered it with a personal greeting and a friendly smile. My friends at the event RAVED about how delicious the cannoli were. Additionally, their restaurant is alway clean and tidy and the employees are extremely friendly. I give this restaurant five stars and completely recommend it. Beth

TLDR: Terrible service, go to Village Baker instead. Worst service Ive had in a while and the food is only okay. Wife called in an order an hour beforehand. Called a second time to confirm the order and make sure they got the details. When I got there it took them a few minutes to even acknowledge I was waiting for them at the register. Nobody in front or behind me in line. Thought to myself, "maybe theyre just super busy." They werent. When I told them I was there to pick up the order they said they didnt have one under that name. They then told me they could do it really quick and that they arent busy (that answers that question...). 15 minutes later and Im still waiting. Unfortunately, this is about the level of service Ive received in the past as well. We wont be coming back, Village Baker has better food anyway and way better service even if its a little more money. P.s. after getting home I noticed they got the order wrong too. Never going back.

Tonight was the last straw for us. We have come here many times hoping each visit would be better than the last, and they always continued to disappoint. Tonight my wife ordered a piece of apple pie, and I ordered a frozen chai. Instead my wife received a heap of apples with little crust and none of the crumple topping that was on the pie in the case. It literally looked like it had been dropped on the floor. My frozen chai was not frozen, it was iced, so they really need to learn the difference between the two words. They failed to give me a straw, so the first time I was able to take a drink was at home. I was not surprised to find they had messed this up. It was an iced coffee or something...whatever it was, it was not chai, thats for sure. I would suggest many other places, even the Smiths that is right there. In AF there is Paradise bakery, a bagel shop or two...ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

Overrated. I dont understand why it is always busy. Their food is super expensive for what you get. For example, their breakfast sandwiches taste like they have microwaved sausage and egg. The french toast is good if you are in the mood for a sugar bomb. But the bread in it is light and fluffy and the syrup is good. Their salads are usually good, but you get so little dressing that you end up eating mostly lettuce with no dressing. I dont understand the cheapness on dressing - give a sufficient amount to cover the salad. The sandwiches are actually pretty good, but they are overpriced. The baked goods are hit-or-miss. Often, they are dry and flavorless (the sugar cookies). But sometimes, they are on par with a regular bakery. The service is always like waiting for paint to dry. It just takes so darn long.

3.5 stars First off, Saturday mornings here are a biiiig no-no. Its way too busy, and always understaffed. The cashiers we interacted with today were not only unfriendly, but straight up rushed and unkind. We sat outside in the cold to avoid all the obnoxious Utah County families that cant control their voice levels or their children. The food was great, as per usual. As it was a Saturday crowd, it took a little longer, but was still warm and tasty. Eeeexcept for the strawberries. The knife they used for onions was used on the sliced strawberries as well. They tasted oniony and gross. It wasnt worth trying to struggle through the crowd of chaos to get new ones.

Ive learned from experience that a takeout quart of soup isnt actually a quart. Its three and a half cups and yes, that half cup makes a difference. Kneaders charges $14.00 with tax for their "quart" of soup and I didnt even get bread! I checked at a nearby similar restaurant and they charge less than $11.00 for their "quart" of soup. A nearby fast food-type restaurant charges about $7.00 before tax. After a very long wait in the drive-thru line, even if this turns out to be the best Irish Stew I ever have in my life, I somehow doubt that it will be worth $14.00 for three and a half cups in addition to a very long wait in the drive-thru.
