This used to be my favorite ribs. One night my family and I were exhausted and decided to stop and get dinner on our way back into Waco from being out of town. We had been traveling and so kids were all over the place at the opportunity to get out of the car. When we went in the people working yelled at my oldest child who was the last one in when the door didnt shut behind him. They yelled at my youngest who was fascinated with and opened the drink refrigerator. Because we have a family of six we asked about portions and what would be a good amount of meat, but we received very short, unhelpful answers like, "Depends on how much you eat." They asked us if wed be eating in or out and when I said wed be eating in, they gave a look that communicated, "God, no." After being treated this way with several questions we opted to not order at all but to leave instead. I know my kids were all over the place and loud, but considering their tiredness, hunger and time of the day this is no way to treat a family, especially considering that the restaurant was empty at the time. From past experience the ribs are really, really good, but its not worth allowing your family to be treated that way.

Dave try making your kids respect others property along the way they will live longer. We loved it of course our kids do as they are told and are very well behaved seen and not heard. Food was great sauce is good and we actually liked the sides also great job BBQ folks here uncle ted we right. Great central Texas BBQ

Its ok. If you never ate there when Rodney Ludwig was the owner, you probably think It is good. Not open on the weekends. I do agree with being closed on Sunday, so all can be with their families to do whatever they wish. But not Saturday. We very rarely go there.

BBQ is better than most around Waco, beanyque is pretty good, jalapeno tater salad is great. We eat here semi regular, but now that I know they dont appreciate undisciplined brats, Ill be going more often. Thanks for the info Dave.

Best dad gum bbq on this side of the Brazos. Meat preparation is perfect. Bbq sauce not necessary, but once you try it, it will have you guessing what that distinct secret ingredient is.

Amazing BBQ, even for Texas! Fall off the bone ribs and generous portions. Its a hole in the wall, but I wouldnt want a great BBQ place any other way!

Great BBQ sandwiches. Also ordered a turkey for Thanksgiving and it was some of the best I have ever had. If you like BBQ stop in and enjoy.
