Came from Dallas Texas with my husband & five year old to visit my brother & his wife who just got stationed here in Wichita for his birthday. They raved about how good & different the BBQ was from Texas. We were all excited to go got shuttled from our hotel at the Hyatt. We got seated friendly greeter and then went down hill. The waitress had an attitude from the beginning . Some of us ordered long islands & I only had a paper issued drivers license because my wallet had been stolen was waiting for real one to come in . The waitress said the bartender wouldnt take it. The airport accepted it because it has my picture & signature in black ink as required by state to not look like a xerox copy . Needless to say Waitress said you could go ask bartender because Im 30 years old with family & not under 21 with proper identification . I went back there & a Old woman named Becky with red color hair said she was the owner & didnt have to accept anything she didnt want to & not to talk to her as she reaked of alcohol with her alcohol in her right hand . She was so rude & unpleasant gave me no possibility to even speak ....Sad she treats people with such disrespect . I told her perfect & all 7 of us took our business elsewhere.

Not sure how they can call it BBQ, slow roasted maybe, but barely smoked, and hardly BBQ. Ribs were tasty and tender, but again not what I would consider BBQ, just slow cooked. Brisket was a massive disappointment. Not all that tender, and pretty blah on flavor. The turkey had the most smoke flavor and was actually pretty tasty, but I really doubt anyone is heading to a BBQ joint with the sole purpose of trying the turkey. Did enjoy the BBQ sauce, but it shouldnt be providing most of the flavor. Did enjoy the sides, so they have that going for them. Service was pretty good as well, and the off menu Bloody Mary is a hoot to have show up at your table, order one.

Have to admit when visiting a new bbq joint Im leery of the quality. We came in for a late lunch and was immediately greeted and seated. Drinks were quickly brought out and always topped off. The staff was top notch and I have to say I was impressed with the ribs. Grant it being a Mo boy I like my ribs trimmed and lean. Although there was some fat the overall quality was the best Ive seen in the local Wichita area. Saving that 5th star for the winner of a lean juicy rib without the pound of fat. It can be done. The sides were perfect with their own spin on the baked beans. My kid didnt like them but thats just kids for you. I definitely will be back!

Hit and miss, this time was a big miss. Bite me has been my joint when I dont have time or on the spur of the moment want BBQ. I recently ordered a slab of ribs for the 4th along with 4 hot links which were good. The ribs on the other hand were FATTY, not as tender as usual, the first time this happened I let it slide, not this time, and one was a chine bone, a throw away piece if i ever come across one when cooking which is rare. With the volume you guys do you should demand better from your supplier, I know of what I speak. Two stars is very generous guys $22.00 down the drain, Do better!!!

First bbq experience in Wichita. Overall, I thought it was quite good. I got the 3-meat plate with ribs, hot link, and chopped brisket. The chopped brisket was unremarkable, the hot link was pretty good, and the ribs were great. I suppose Id get the same thing next time, but substitute the sliced brisket for the chopped. It seems like the chopped brisket came with some sort of sauce (other than the house stuff) on it. I got the baked beans as a side, and they were quite good, as well. The house bbq sauces (regular and spicy) are both really good. Tangy and smoky. Ill definitely be back!

Wow!!! The brisket! The prices! The amount of food! Oh, my! And lets not forget the amazing BBQ sauce! You will be missing out if you do not stop here when in Wichita. We came in town for a graduation from Atlanta GA, Tulsa OK, and Phoenix AZ, and someone recommended we eat here. Beyond satisfied. The atmosphere was very comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the manager was also friendly and personable. I ordered the BBQ brisket nachos as my meal. Amazing! Others at my table ordered the bbq chopped brisket sandwich, the ribs, and the three meat combo. All of us were very pleased.

You must try the fried chicken sandwich! Its huge! The chicken is juicy, tender, very tasty. The brisket nachos are like nothing I have ever had anywhere! The sauces are very flavorful and does not taste bottled at all. And you cant go there and not indulge in the spicy cucumbers. They alone get your taste buds watering... Now I have made myself to not want to cook dinner tonight. Oh, Almost forgot about the baked beans, ribs and brisket...they are all superb and also arent like anything you can get at the rest of the wannabe BBQ restraunts in town. I wont go anywhere but here.

Drove through Wichita and did a Google on "Best BBQ in Wichita". It was approaching 8pm on a Friday, and Bite Me was one of the few places open and had good reviews. Holy cow, this place is GREAT! Ive eaten BBQ all over the country-- these were the best ribs Ive ever had! Very meaty and tasty. Got sweet potato fries and baked beans=amazing and spicy. Spouse got the pulled pork sandwich and mashed potatoes. Waitress was hilarious. Service was great! Glad we found this place and cant wait to eat here again when we drive en route through Wichita!

First time in Wichita and sent here from a hotel front desk person. Its a really cool little spot on the very edge of "Old Town". I love the exposed old brick walls juxtaposed with the more modern art pieces on display and apparently for sale. Plenty of seating options and lots of room to navigate. As with other bbq joints you get hit with the aroma as you approach the front door. Super nice touch that the larger than life, former-marine looking owner swung by to see how we were doing. Superb touch folks!

Worst BBQ in Wichita by far. Have gone 3-4 times and the brisket has been cold every time. It was also dry and had no flavor what so ever. The pork was also very dry and cold. Sides are decent, and the condiment bar with spicy pickled vegetable is a plus. Ordered some wings as an appetizer and they came out cold as well. This is the last BBQ joint in Wichita I would eat at tied with two brothers. Wont ever eat here again.

This was the last straw for Bite Me BBQ, the last time well put up with their horrible service. From the time we entered to the30 minute wait for our food the service was horrible. While other people were seated after us and got their food and even finished eating, we still waited. This wasnt the first time weve been here and it wasnt the first time weve had bad service. It will be our last time, they can Bite Me!
