I went their today and when I tell you their meat is gross,I MEAN IT! I got some General Tso chicken and when I ate it,I couldnt even swallow it.It was like a chewy dry ham texture.I can tell you one thing for sure and that its not chicken.That was NOT chicken, also I got some fried chicken.That chicken was BIG and filled with medicines to poison us Americans.Most of that chicken was nothing but FAT.Sushi was good not special.Their desserts were ok.I only liked those butterfly cookies, fruits, and ice cream.Other then that, it was gross.Their cakes are probably like 90% sugar.Also,they had "orange chicken".It looked like it was soaked in oil for 24 hours! That did NOT look like orange chicken.Right now,I feel sick and I feel like puking,and my throat feels like if I just drank oil. This buffet is a MESS.Old,and junky with nasty food.My friend even sat here and got food poisoning, and she said the sushi was warm.Sushi is NOT supposed to be warm.It should be cold.I would not recommend you go here.Hunan Jades is a LOT better.Houston buffets are 100% better.For example,Lambo Chinese Buffet.That place has good quality food with a hibachi grill.So does Happy Family which is like 20 minutes away.Anyways,I dont recommend you go the 88 Grand.The staff are nice, but their food is GROSS and that meat is NOT chicken.Totally not worth "88 Grand". Right now I feel like putting my hand down my throat and puking all this disgusting food out of my stomach.I feel so sick.If you would like to eat bad quality nasty food with fake, dry,and fatty meat and get food poisoning, then this is the place for you!

Horrific experience! I walk in and was quickly seated. As I was seated, I noticed the place was fairly empty and thought that was weird, being peek dinner time; didnt think much of it. As I got to the food though I started to see why the place was empty. So I pick some food that looked edible and brought it back to the table. As I was heading to the table I pop a dumpling in my mouth. It was cold and it was old. I sit down and try something else, it was also cold and old. To their defense though there were some things that were at least room temperature. So then I wave over a young Asian fella that was a server and told him about the food. He tells me the place hasnt been busy so they bring down the heat for the food. I was confused at first, then told him the food was old too can I talk to your manager. Manager tells me, after I tell her the same as I told that young man, "food is fine, no one else complaining". She grabs the dumpling off my plate and says, "this fine!" I then say, are you calling me a liar? Maam I dont want your bad food and I am going to leave now, then in a little bit I will yell to the world about how horrible this experience was on social media. Ive given you plenty of opportunities to make this right. She then boldly tells me, "you place food on plate. You pay $10.66". I started laughing and told her, this time in her accent, Me take three bite. Me no like. Me no pay. Let me talk to owner. Stay away from this garbage place.

Sooo Im not really sure why this place has such bad reviews its a nice little cozy place with an ample Buffet and fresh General types of cold and hot Chinese food. They even have fried calamari and fried scallops on the buffet with a vast selection of sushi on the back buffet bar made freshly by the sushi chef. I arrived to the buffet thats conveniently located right next door to where I work at about 4:20 p.m on a Friday afternoon and all of the pans were freshly stocked with food. I was greeted and seated within a minute by a polite older gentleman and enjoyed my meal while watching the flat screen TV. The only reason I did not give them a 5 is because I love the cold boiled shrimp thats usually on the buffet bar but there was none at this location. This place is always full of people. ..cant be that bad!

This place sucks. Friendly waiter kept glasses filled and dishes removed from the table. Trouble is the plates were almost as full leaving the table as they were when I set them down. Spoiled shrimp and broccoli. Mushy fried shrimp. Dry and hard fried chicken. Literally nothing worth the $50 we spent. As a side note, does anyone else find it immensely annoying when the lady whose job it is to take your money, never bothers to put her cell phone down and quit gabbing to someone else for the 30 seconds it took to swipe my card and leave? Okay, so follow up after leaving. My wife has made me pull over 2x due to aforementioned issues.

Cold food, everything looked as its been under the lamp for ever, jad pieces of hard looked as raw noodle as possible.... people sitting next to us got up and left due to cold food and nasty tasting food. I should have took that as the hint, but it is, and will be the only time i will eat here. Never again.*** UPDATE*** made it to Louetta and had to pull over to throw up.. My girlfriend out the passenger door, myself hanging out of the driver door both vomiting.. if you want a bonding moment between you and someone special then there you have it..

BY FAR THE WORST PLACE TO GO EAT DO NOT GO HERE!! Awful. Food tasted like it was under a heat lamp all day long. Nothing was fresh. Cake was hard as if it was made a week ago and left out. I spit everything I tried to eat back on my plate. Its 10 dollars a buffet which is insanity considering your eating food that tastes like it was made a week ago. I have no idea how they havent been shut down yet. I walked out and refused to pay. I let them know how crappy and nasty their food is.

Good looking building on the outside plenty of parking. Most workers speak Chinese in a loud voice. the tables were clean the floor needed cleaning. the buffet was well-stocked they had a large variety of items to choose from and Sushi and dessert. the food was typical Chinese buffet but what stood out was the lightly breaded fish and the shrimp. it was my first time here I highly recommend it to anyone and I will be back. it was about $9 per person for lunch.

I didnt even want to put a star. Had to write a review. My husband, daughter and I ate here at 7pm. He took a few bites of his food and then got up to get something else cause it was nasty, cold and old. Mine was too. Orange chicken was cold and like a week old food. My husbands soup Hot and Sour all watery. They took off one buffet but was not worth $27.00. Worst Buffet EVER!!!! Had to pull over on our way home and husband got sick.

We use to eat here fairly regular. Food was pretty good and always plentiful. We usually go about 5:30 to 6:30pm. The last two times the food was cold, not fresh, and not well prepared. The LAST time was before Christmas eve. The food was just OKAY, but they raised there prices! It cost me over 70 dollars. TOO EXPENSIVE for the low quality! UPDATE: Tried it again last week (04/15/2017). Nothings Improved. Gotten worse.
