The main reason to visit is the outdoor seating area - when the weather allows, this is one of the most pleasant areas of the whole city to hang out. Picking through appetizers and drinks, you can almost imagine youre somewhere way more exotic. The menu combines small but tasty Italian-inspired entrees with large, thin-crust pizzas that are perfect for sharing. That said, the interior scene is almost like a completely different restaurant, blending the most aggravating parts of a nightclub (i.e. no seating capacity when the place is clearly empty, which has happened to me twice) and a bar with so-so service. The experience is so starkly different that Id prefer to go somewhere else if I cant sit outside - hopefully this gets fixed over time since the restaurant is still fairly new.

Went for a friends birthday party. The drinks and fig pizza were good. I dont know if they were short on staff or just busy, but it took two hours to get everyones food. It was a large group, but after a while we were all asking what was taking so long.The server was nice, but didnt check back often enough to see if we needed more bread, water, drinks, etc. The food was just okay. I ordered the seafood ciopinno. The mussels and clams were very tiny and the broth lacked flavor. My boyfriend had the porkchop. The flavor was good, but was a little dry and his scalloped potatoes were a little crunchy. We all had a good time, but was just a little disappointed. Would give this place another chance, but will be a while.

Solid modern Italian food popular on weekend nights. Service was detailed if a little scattered. Food was all in house made. Though we didnt try it they had a lovely wood fire oven for neopolitine pizza. The fig and house made burrata was a mixture overly sweet and savory. The let down was the pita (where did that come from) served. Good inside and outside seating. Vibrant noise inside but comfortable. Parking is a bother valet is a good choice. Watch out for speed bumps.

My husband took me out for my birthday here tonight. From start to finish, we had a lovely evening. My mojito was just right; not too sweet per my request. We had the burrata, fig pizza, seafood cannelloni and creme brûlée. Our server was attentive and very professional, even replacing my new spoon at one point because he noticed it was dirty. We enjoy a 2-hour dinner and never felt rushed (which we really hate). Highly recommend.

We selected this restaurant for our 32nd wedding anniversary dinner because the reviews were so good. Our experience was less than we anticipated. We dined early, 5:00. We were the only customers yet our food sat waiting to be delivered to us. It was dry and rubbery pasta with very little Alfredo sauce although the flavor was good. The chicken was extremely dry and tough. The bread was good but all in all we were very disappointed.

My chick loves this place for dinner so its a no-brainer. I was very impressed at the dinner service we went to, and it made her really happy. Solid food gets a 5star rating. They also let us sit for a long time after they closed for the night, which gave us extra time to spend with each other. Thank you, Piattis, for a really memorable evening - sincerely.

Upon hearing it was Restaurant Week in San Antonio we opted for the last remaining early table at Bliss. So glad we did, and so very happy we had Lico as our server. I took my wife to Piatti for our anniversary and I can say with confidence that this is one of the best restaurants Ive been to. The atmosphere was awesome. The food was 10/10. You can see a beautiful fountain through the windows in the restaurant. The service was fantastic. My wife loved it and cannot wait to go back.

Confirmed reservation twice with someone at this location and they still didnt have us on the list when we arrived. It took five people to look it up and kept asking if we had the right location. Luckily I had the name of person who called..Food was good but service was terrible. Waiter never introduced himself.

Nice atmosphere. Just ordered a few sides to combine (vegan) Wow way spicy! Another at our table same thing happened with the Rigitoni, they were great about exchanging, but still not good. And still charged, and didnt even address that it wasnt enjoyed. Not looking for a free be but our waiter, not good!

Wife likes coming here. Im ok with it mainly because of the options. Every time I read the menu, there never seems to be anything that really appeals to me. Ambiance is nice and the surround complex gives it curve appeal. As for the food, the ravioli is my main stay because I cannot find anything else.

Ive gone twice now. The water is fancy. The food just really isnt that top tier quality. They use biodegradable to-go containers so good job on trying to limit landfill consumption. The meat supply should be changed. It isnt juicy and tender enough. This is supposed to be high end.

Would highly recommend the trout and Angel hair dish. We came with friends who recommended it, and they were happy to deliver though it wasnt listed on the menu. Good ambiance and costly great food makes Piatti an easy choice over the other restaurants in Eilan.

YES! A burger and fries done right. Try the nachos too. You wont be dissappointed! The AC needs a little work though. I fou d it a little warm for comfort.
