المطعم جميل وهاديء جدا والاكل لذيذ طلبت تكا دجاج وكبسه دجاج كان بصراحه الخبز والتكا لذيذ جداً والكبسه حلوه ولكن كانت حاره شوي اتمنى لهم التوفيق والنجاح واتمنى لهم كتابه الفاتوره بشكل اوضح وطباعه المنيو بشكل اكثر جاذبيه ليزيد من عدد الناس عندهم I wish the best for them. They are one family with their mother. The food are excellent and delicious and the best garlic sauce ever tasted.

When I was deployed to Iraq, the Iraqis I was advising recommended this place. They said it was the most authentic Iraqi food in San Antonio. They had spend long periods of time here in San Antonio learning English. I decided to take my daughters here to try the Cuisine. The Restraint is one of those gems that everyone talks about. It is a family run Restraunt with fresh food at a great price. The food comes out hot and fast. If you dont know what to order just tell them. They were great at helping my daughters find something they would like. They have a grilled platter that is served family style that is a good sample of the food. Dont forget to have the Kahi for dessert. I cant say enough good about this little Restraunt. We drive 45 mins just to eat here. I dont write my reviews often but this place is worth the time.

I really like this place. Ive only been in twice, but both times the food great. The first time was for a late breakfast. I cant remember what its called, but I had the plate that has ground beef and eggs. It came with a salad, which was a little odd to me at first. It was all very tasty though. The second time I was in I had the mix plate with lamb, beef and Tikka chicken. I have to say, the chicken was my favorite. I usually prefer beef or lamb, which were also both very good, but the chicken was surprisingly juicy and flavorful. The rice on that plate was also very good. Ive heard great things about the barbecue fish and will try that next time I go there. Highly recommend this place. Food and service are both great.

This place is incredible. Authentic Iraqi food, run by a family of five. They just expanded the restaurant to include a hookah bar, and the hookah is exceptional. Last night I had the grilled fish, at the suggestion of the waitress, and even though I dont like fish it was the best thing I have eaten there. I highly recommend. Know that if youre looking for spice, middle eastern is not for you! Its all flavorful and savory. :)

The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. The food is authentic and tasty. Everyone is welcomed like family. Fresh hot Iraqi bread is served with your meal. Portion sizes are large and filling. The kabobs are flavorful - chicken, beef or lamb. The tikki chicken is one of my favorites. The fish and rice is a popular dish. The vegetable soup is savory and the eggplant complements the tomatoes and other vegetables.

Baghdad restaurant has amaaazing food! Weve had some pretty authentic Iraqi kabobs in Dearborn, MI (where theres a large Iraqi population) and this restaurant is just as good! The mixed grilled items are juicy and tender, the hummus is flavorful and a good consistency, and the bread is fluffy. Also, the service is very friendly. :)

The food was excellent and the customer service was very personal but always on top of their stuff. I ordered a mixed plate and shared with one other person and we had plenty of food. The fresh tea and baklava are literally the best in San Antonio. Just so, so good and highly recommend visiting!

The best I have ever tried so far. The environment is nice, the service is perfect, and the food is the best. I have tried quzi and the mix grill (teka, kebab), and there is no way I could have them better. I definitely will go back and recommend it to everybody.

Came with a group and I had the worst dish. Lamb Tikka was super dry. But I was able to taste everyone elses dish and the fish and the #15 with lamb was awesome! The bread was great and was the size of my arm. Baba ganoush was the best Ive had.

If you want to try something different this is a perfect place to start. Although the names of dishes maybe confusing the food oil not. What it is is flavorful, hearty, homestyle food. The staff is friendly and ready to answer any questions.

Family style dining. If you want to be treated like one of the family, this is the place. Everything is cooked when you order. Doesnt get any fresher that. The fresh hot flat bread is to die for. Dont pass up the grilled fish

The worst experience I had in an Arabic restaurant… I was disrespected by the waitress when she found out I was Colombian and commented in Arabic about me while looking at me weirdly. Really disrespectful.

Authentic Iraqi Food. Family owned. Food is prepared very well so dont expect rushed service. Healthy food your stomach will thank you. Have the Arabian tea after sooo goood!
