4.5 STARS. Cute little sandwich shop conveniently located in the Medical Center. Order at the counter then sit yer butt down. It was packed at lunchtime, with the line getting 7 or 8 deep by the time I left. The gal at the register had the biggest smile, and her perkiness hit a 12 on a 10 scale. I asked her what the most popular sandwich was and went with the chicken avocado, with a side of corn & jalapeño soup. She hollered some odd code to the harried crew in the back; it sounded like "bread 1" or some such. I helped myself to some unsweetened tea and found the only empty table left. Service seemed a tad slow, but eventually the server sauntered out and delivered my lunch. The bread was crisp and fresh, but not toasted. The chicken was very flavorful. Soup was yummy and loaded with evil cream, corn, and spiciness. Price was reasonable. Will have to return to determine if this place deserves 5 stars.

This is a great little cafe. The food is excellent for the most part and they keep specials rotating. They move quickly so business lunches work. Sadly, there French onion soup is a miserable rendition of a classic. The soup I got literally had 5 small shreds of a bagged cheese floating in it. Cap the soup with cheese like it is supposed to be, or just serve other soups if you think a bit of cheese cost too much. The pork belly sandwich was pretty good but could have been seared crispier and half of it was way over salted. Since the other half wasnt they must have accidentally shook out too much. No big deal. Give them a shot. Please fix your soup.

My husband and I do LOVE this place, and we think the sandwiches, soup, and iced tea are all very delicious. However, Please do not wipe the seats and then the tabletops with the same cloth because some people do not clean themselves very well, or wash their clothes, and even choose to go commando. You can see how things can be transferred from one place to another. Other than that everything else is great, and we have no other complaints at all. Keep up the good work!

Possibly some of the best sandwiches Ive had in San Antonio, the Tsukemono sandwich is worth having in particular. The soups where all hearty and delicious, and the salads where fresh and clean. They rotate the specials and it works. The staff is friendly. My only complaint is the Tea. This place could capitalize on good Tea and good tea techniques, and the dessert section of the menu is lacking a little. Still a place worth going to multiple times.

My chicken wrap had an odd salmon smell and taste 。 I think the staffs has some really inappropriate conversation in earshot of the customers not very appetizing or professional but I guess thats the way things are nowadays everybody just wants to be casual。 probably wouldnt hurt for them to get somebody with a little bit of maturity keep those kids under control

Its a sandwhich shop, but unlike many these guys have no problem experimenting with something and executing the idea well. Great and quick service, that first bite of any sandwhich you order here is absolute bliss. Highly recommend the pork belly sandwhich, and their french onion is always good.

Have been here twice. First time ordered the SDP classic with chicken with the French onion soup. The mayo in the sandwich made it especially tasty. The second time I had the California sandwich and I loved the French onion soup so much I ordered it again for my second visit.

Always delicious and great service. I especially love their potato soup. It can get very busy during lunch due to the business from UTHSCSA and nearby hospitals but the tables turnover fast. Ive never actually had to wait to sit down. I definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Im in love with this sandwich and im going to eat it. - BLT on a croissant :) Breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Never regreted a single bite from this place. I dream of their food, its that good!
