I ordered steamed snow peas and water chestnuts. It was good, a little overcooked, but fine with good flavor. The detractor, and reason I wont be back, is the service at the desk. I asked her what vegetables were in the dish. The clerk replied with a heavy accent that came out garbled. I probably looked confused, and took a sec to realize she was being sarcastic, as she stuttered and finally got out the words "It what it say..." or something like that. I didnt think much of it, maybe she was having a bad day. She was impatient and answered 3 calls before I could even place an order. I ordered the veggies, and waited while she took more calls, with more rudeness. At one point she couldnt understand someone and had to ask 3x for them to repeat themselves. She hung up, sighed, and looked at me, shaking her head, as if the customer was a fool. It would have been funny, and would make a great skit on Saturday Night Live. Unbelievable, some to a country, speak terrible English, and then point the finger at everyone else. I told her a little story of how when one points the finger, there are 3 more pointing back at you, demoing it with my hand. It took her awhile, but I think she understood. Why would I go to a place to be belittled? Maybe its me, but I dont believe such rudeness ought to be rewarded with business. Oh and the veggies? There were carrots in them.

I am so upset... I have been craving this place all week. Tonight we are driving to Oklahoma so we decided to stop and dine in here before we head out. First, they dont have high chairs....thats fine not a huge deal. But the lady was so rude to us. She TOLD US she was making our food to go even though she knew we were eating inside. She gave us a huge attitude when she delivered the food to our table. We were sharing our meals with the kids so when I asked for some plates she gave me tiny ones. I asked if she had bigger and she shook her head, rolled her eyes and walked away. (I had just seen another family eating on the bigger plates) I felt like she didnt want us there in the first place. We werent rude and I made sure we said please and thank you like I always do. But I felt so upset that she was treating us so badly that we literally took our food back up and asked for a refund. She looked at us and was like "a refund?". And then I asked her, "do you treat all of your customers like this?" She blamed it on the fact that its Friday night. I understood that but then she walked away rolling her eyes again. No wonder theyre so busy and dont have employees. Theyre all so rude inside. I will still order the food in the future but only to go.

It may be that I just hit them at bad times recently ... but ... Ive been a regular customer for many years.....have learned to just ignore the extremely rude lady (owner) ... shes always been that way ....... the food seems different somehow....not as fresh......always had the feeling that when I placed an order .. it was cooked fresh......recently its been old tasting...pre-prepared ...Ill give it a couple of more chances since Ive been ordering from here for years....but there is plenty of competition in McKinney as far as Asian food goes.....,I hope they improve and get back to where they were......maybe the lady owner might consider a few courses in etiquette. .....

Ive been eating at this place for quite a bit and yes the food and the pricing is good but the owner is so busy and so overwhelmed shes rude and short and makes you feel rushed. Hire somebody youre losing customers because of your attitude I dont tolerate bad customer service anywhere I dont care how good the food is. Stop being cheap and get some more help youre obviously making it youve been there for years...... if shes rude to me one more time this is the last chance I will never go back there again

THEY WERE OPEN ON A HOLIDAY WICH IS A PLUS, I WAS ON HOLD FOR ABOUT 5 MINS BEFORE SOMEONE TOOK MY ORDER AND IT FELT LIKE THEY WERE RUSHING ME BUT I THINK THE EMPLOYEES ARE JUST LIKE THAT, I HAVE ORDERED FROM HERE A COUPLE OF TIMES AND USUALLY THE FOOD IS GOOD, ON SOME OCCASIONS THE FRIED RICE HAS TASTED OLD AND OVERCOOKED BUT THEIR BEEF LO MEIN IS ALWAYS GREAT . AS FAR AS DELIVERY TIME IM ALWAYS TOLD 45 MINS AND IT TAKES 45-1 HOUR DEPENDING ON THE DAY AND TIME OF DAY

I am SO GLAD I didnt read the reviews before I ordered. We moved here from Farmers Branch and have tried many Chinese restaurants. This place was by far the best we have had. Everything we ordered came out perfectly and was delivered in a pretty good time frame considering it is Sat. I had absolutely no problems what so ever when I ordered, they were extremely nice and very helpful. We will DEFINITELY be ordering from here again in the very near future.

Chopsticks has great food so I dont know why others have such negative reviews. Theyre good and as a result sometimes get REALLY busy but as with all things good, its always worth the wait. Ive been eating here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. For those who think the lady at the counter is rude, understand English is not her primary language so maybe thats the misconception..Im on my way there right now HAHA

Purchased lunch and a drink with a coworker. $9 meal seemed like a good price until we received our entree. We ordered kungpao shrimp and sesame chicken. After a couple bites we abandoned our food and went to McDonalds. The dishes tasted nothing like how they are traditionally (US) cooked. And the fried foods all tasted like dirty grease traps. The bathrooms were dark and dingy Save your money and go somewhere else.

I work nearby this place and I always get delivery for for myself they got good food but I only want something small they dont want to deliver for the amount I am paying I am also paying for the delivery fee but they dont want to deliver because the amount is $6.50 plus tax and delivery fee so dont waste your time on getting a delivery if your amount is less always want to upsale there food. Bad service.

Food is good but not good enough to deal with their horrible attitudes, rudeness, & negative demeanor. Weve had it several times over the years and their speak and demeanor are getting gradually worse. Their attitudes consistently demonstrate that they do not care for their customers.

When I called to order food they were very rude taking my order and I felt rushed. Then I waited 30 mins for my food to be delievered and when I called to tell say I havent recieved my food they were very rude again and they said it was never made yet. That is just unacceptable.

If you are looking for ok chinese food, rude and poor service this place is for you. We supported this restaurant for years and never had a problem however when my family and I went for lunch the lady behind the counter was so rude we left and never placed another order.

I been living in McKinney all my life and never had a problem with this place. There shouldnt be any bad reviews about this place. I never got a attitude from the employees and the food always taste very good.
