Very bad service and management. The waitress was bad from the get go. She took forever to greet us and get our drinks. We had to ask for water with the champagne bottle we ordered. When she finally brought it she couldnt figure out how to open it. When she finally did it spilled out everywhere. All over our table. She over filled our glasses and made the mess even bigger. She never came back to clean it up and we have to just do it ourselves. Also she wasted a good glass of champagne with her carelessness Then the food came and SHE DROPPED the plate on me! I was covered in creamy sauce! She just ran away basically and sent someone else to clean it up. The manager finally came by and I had to ask him for towels for my ruined outfit. The manager apologized but thats it. My Meal was not comped. Not a single discount. We even ordered a cheesecake Togo and they didnt even give us that for free. Im not one looking for free stuff. But in my opinion it is bad management to not at least give a free dessert when an employee spills your hot meal on you and making you wait another 15 mins for a new meal while everyone else is eating. Even if the manager isnt aware of the waitress horrible service he should know how to do the right thing and give a discount. The food was not even good. we had the "made to order guac" appetizer. They do not make it in front of you BTW and it was not as good as other cheesecake factorys. The food was mediocre for what you pay. I had the chicken stuffed tortillas. I am a cheesecake factory fan and have been for years. But this location is no good and not worth the money. I will say the cheesecake was amazing though as always. Im just happy I got it to go and didnt have to spend another second in that poor excuse for a restaurant. But I will NOT be going back to a Cheesecake Factory in Houston tx. Very disappointed

Unfortunately, this is not one of the welcoming locations. After checking outside area (which has a lot of available spaces), I asked the person working on the seating that we want to sit outside, she said no available spaces (lying); I asked her kindly to go and check because I just saw a lot of empty tables (3 or more), she didnt check and said, okay we stopped serving outside you can only stay inside. I left. Came back 15 min later after seeing that the people who came in with me where seated outside (still a lot of empty tables 2 or more). I went back to the front desk and was so disappointed, and ask her why she didnt let me sit outside although there was servers and there are empty spots and people came in with us and where seated as well. She said the manager accepted to let them sit outside. Really? Why did shy lie in the first place?? The manager was right there the whole time, she just lied again saying there was no empty spots outside (there was I was standing outside in the first place and finally they let us in) This is not how we are Used to the welcoming atmosphere of Cheesecake Factory. NOT a very kind act from the seating server. I will not go again there and dont recommend Anyone going there because of their attitude and I want to mention the person who works at seating people rolled her eyes (very mean) when I was asking her politely to talk to the manager because we wanted to sit outside. I gave 2 stars because our server was nice when we were seated after 20 min of going back and forth. The other locations have nicer workers. Dont bother to go.

Very disappointing experience especially for a birthday dinner celebration. When we first walked in, it was noticiably busy. We walk to hostess stand. She was busy initially with guests. After finishing with them, we stand there and not once did she greet us or even say "welcome, I will be right with you. " which would be totally understandable. Instead she stood there with head down doing something behind desk. As we are waiting, a lady walks up to the counter saying she needed a table for her party. The hostess assists her. I mention we were standing there first which seemed to not matter. The hostess ignored my comment, still did not greet or apologize, but rudely took our info and says we will be seated "soon." Eventually our name was called and we walk up, hostess pointing to us informing the waitress who we are. The waitress did not smile, greet and was rude not only to us but guests along the way to our table. The waitress bumped into a guests rushing to get by without apologizing. When we catch up to the waitress, she throws down the menus and continues walking. Did not say anything to us informing us it was our table (but obviously we knew it was). Thankfully our waiter was nice. We had to ask for a few things but no problem otherwise. As for the meal, the cheesecake was good. The entrees were bland and disappointing. I had high hopes for The Cheesecake Factory.. Especially in the Memorial City Area.

Why are there no paper towels available in the rest rooms where patrons and employees are to properly wash and dry their hands? OSHA BBP Standard: Proper Hand Hygiene Procedures Hand hygiene is the first line of defense and hand washing is generally considered the single most important procedure for preventing the spread of nosocomial infection. Hand washing is to be used in conjunction with Standard Precautions. Hands should be cleaned: Upon completion of required tasks and before leaving the laboratory Immediately after removal of gloves or other personal protective equipment Upon contact or when there is visible contamination with blood or other potentially infectious material Before and after patient contact Before eating, drinking, smoking, applying cosmetics, or handling contact lenses Before and after using the bathroom Before any activities in which hand contact is made with mucous membranes, the eyes, or breaks in the skin (eg, cuts, abrasions, wounds). Proper hand-washing techniques: Wet hands with water. Apply enough soap to cover all surfaces. Thoroughly wash all parts of hands and fingers up to the wrists, rubbing hands together for at least 15 seconds. Rinse hands with water and dry thoroughly with paper towels. Use paper towels to turn off faucet before discarding the towels in the waste receptacle.

Would rate this dining experience zero stars if possible. Our servers name was "Ash," and what seemed as a good dinner slowly turned into a horrible evening. Being seventeen years old and paying for my first bill, I tipped what was only eight percent, which I now realize now was my own wrongdoing, and I should have given more. However while processing the check, I received multiple dirty looks from him, and in addition to this he also proceeded to talk to another waiter about my "poor tip," while throwing his hands in the air at us in disbelief. Following that, "Ash" very rudely returned my entire tip to me while in a very rude manner retorting "Here is your change." When I opened the bill to see what he was referring to, as I was very confused (I had previously told him to keep all the change), I found the receipt folded in half, and circled in bright green highlighter, was the recommended tip. As much as I love the food at The Cheesecake Factory, I can no longer return, as I am totally uncomfortable from this endeavor. Be prepared to bring plenty of money to leave a hefty tip.
