Small, cold, and sweet are what I think of when I go to Sweet Cup Gelato. They have an impressive range of flavors to choose from which are made impressively in-house. They have the typical gelato favorites such as stracciatella and bacio to more adventuresome ones like curry, red chili, and Vietnamese coffee. All flavors are also rotated each day so there is always something new to try. They also serve other sweet treats such as yogurt, coffee, and sometimes other treats like baked goods but those would be dine-in specials. Overall, Sweet Cup is a nice little place to stop by if you’re craving gelato. The prices appear to be standard compared to most other gelato places at about $3-6 based on size. Side note: parking is really terrible during the day at this location so just be aware of that when you decide to visit.

Definitely not a decent ice cream, far away from being an italian gelato as per their statements.. 1st: Bad smell as soon as you come inside 2nd : Bad service 3rd: All the flavors tags are in the wrong inclination so whenever you are close to the counter to order them you cant see them unless you go back far away from the counter and whats more they are written by hands ,not easily readable at all. 4:The real most important matter here: The ice cream, Il gelato its not good! Nothing else to add just that whenever you charge $4.50 for a small cup youre ensuring that Your ice cream is deliciously but this IS NOT! I am Italian and obviously i do not pretend to eat the real Italian Gelato outside my home country but at least with some lucky go close to it...come on .... Thats a complete Fiasco!!

My favorite ice cream place! Or "gelato place", I should say! Its a cute spot with lots of selections. Their sizes are also more my style. If you want a lot, you get a lot! but the small size is actually small which I very much appreciate! The owner was there both times I went serving the gelato and you could tell they were passionate about it. The Gelato here is amazing! Their flavors change seasonally and they also have other options like sorbet, yogurt, and custard. Their housemaid waffle cones are also really good! I definitely recommend it whether youre looking for something sweet, mild, heavy, or light. They have a great variety! Its really nice to be able to support a small business but thats also really awesome and unbeatable!

So many flavors, and always some new ones, some very intersting! And as a broke young person, I love that its not ridiculously priced. A little more than Ice cream, buts thats normal for gelato, and worth it in my opinion! Convenient location on Montrose, super nice staff, and my favorite...perfect for after-dinner or after-movie date extension. Open fairly late(10 I think). One of my favorite ways to treat myself:) And the espresso is pretty tasty, too.

Best gelato! Can you believe this... the owner, left her day job and studied gelato making in Bologna Italy. Over 100 gelato recipes that are rotated throughout the seasons. Custards and ices too. Very friendly service. Took my father-in-law from Amalfi Italy who told me before our visit that Italian gelato could not duplicated in Texas. Now he raves about SweetCup Gelato and admits this Texas Gelato trumps gelato italiano!

I searched Google as i was in the Museum District and wanted some Gelato. I happened to find this place and was pleasantly surprised. There is always a large variety of flavors available. The staff here is so wonderful and friendly. I recommend this to anyone in the mood for some Gelato!!!! Ive been back several times and have no problem making the drive from Atascocita to come here!! Great Place!!!

They clearly use quality ingredients and have fresh, new flavor combinations. But lets get real what really won me over: 1. the size small gives you up to 3 flavor choices (I have commitment issues haha) & 2. they explain what the fancy terms so youre not all "ummmmm" but in your head, so you stay confused. Plus, they give you a waffle triangle with a strong scent of vanilla...YUM!

I claim that the gelato I have eaten here is at least 10 times better then any other gelato I have eaten. Now given there have been at most 3 other places I have eaten gelato, I still say it is at least one standard deviation above other gelato providers. The owners run the facility and have often requested feed back on new gelato flavors and satisfaction in general.

So many lovely and unique flavors and friendly staff. Try the stuff that makes you go "hmmm" because its all delicious! If theres a line/wait, dont panic. Its worth the wait. Instead, play a game and come up with ridiculous ideas for gelato flavors. Today, we came up with the Demi Lovato avocado affogato gelato. There was more, but I forgoto. Just go here already!

This is my favorite place to go for dessert. There is a big variety of flavors to choose from. My favorite is Three Amigos: a delicious mix of chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel. The owner is always experimenting with new flavors and goes out of her way to make sure that everything is to your liking. I make it a point to stop by every time I am in town.

Ive loved most of the flavours. The servers have been mostly ok. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my favorite flavours (Kashmir rose and Texas kulfi) have run out 2 out of 3 times. Ill give them one more chance as I have to travel an hour to come have gelato and its worth it as long as they have stock.

My wife and I have visited this place over 10 times. Theyre absolutely fantastic. The flavors are exactly (if not more than) as expected, customer service is great and they allow 3-5 flavor options depending on bowl size. FYI parking can be a bit tight on the weekends. (our personal favorite is the Texan kulfi!)

The gelato was absolutely delicious and the service couldnt have been nicer. I love the little waffle chip they optionally add to the top of the gelato. I tried the Bacio and the Salted Caramel, and Id go back for both! Not a big shop or an elegant experience, but it is a perfect little gelateria.

So the gelato was great. If you want just gelato then this is good place for it. Its quiet too which is nice. Thats said note: it exclusively serves espresso (and affogato), no other espresso-based drinks (e.g. cappuccino). The staff was fine. Not friendly but not bad.

The customer service is great here. Everyone behind the counter is so nice and personable, and you can legit try as many flavors as you want. They even encourage you to try a lot of them until you find the ones you love. My main advice: dont skimp on the sorbets.

Unbelievably good. My wife and I love this place - the employees are helpful (ask them for samples and pairing tips) and the Gelato is delicious. Texas Kulfi and Orange Chocolate are my favorites. This is a perfect after dinner spot on a Friday or Saturday.
