Ive had take out twice and dined in once. The food has always been on point - hot, fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is pretty cool looking. The one time we dined in was on a Sunday afternoon so the restaurant was pretty empty. The server was friendly and prompt. The only reason we are lacking the fifth star is because when we ordered water, we were kind of expecting tap water with ice and ended up getting a two dollar bottle of water. We didnt say anything and just accepted and paid for it. When we got the bill, there was gratuity already added. I didnt mind, but felt that if they didnt impose that, they might end up getting more. I generally am a generous tipper and give more than what they added but I just paid what they asked for. Anyway...good food.

Shishkebabs: I was told they came with veggies and rice- one cut up slice of pickle and one sliced half of tomato, rice was overcooked and took up half of the plate, and then literally 4 beef chunks that took 30 minutes to grill, had a sour smell, did not look like the picture(Skewers with veggies) and served with mayo and siracha? Weird. And def not Mediterranean. Only reason I ate it was because I spent 12 on this plate and was starving. No one asked how anything was manager/owner sat on his computer, and waitress spent most of her time in the back. The sign outside says deli/grill so I would assume Im not the only person that has gone there to eat.... But maybe skip food and just grab a hookah(50 flavors, only 15 listed) and a can soda for 2 bucks(gasp)!

One of the best hookah I have ever tried. Food is good, but a little pricey. No alcohol at all...so make sure to bring it with you, they provide BOB system, which is good for me. Music is very good...however they could hire a DJ for some nights...Be informed that this place is open till 1AM regular days, however open till 2AM on Friday and till 3AM on Saturday. Very diverse crowd. Overall good place to chill out, smoke hookah and etc... Like it. Will be back for sure.

Im big hookah smoker, so Ive been in many places around the town. This place is the best when it comes to picking flavor of the tobacco, they have more than 20 of them and the price is pretty low too. Natural wood charcoal, plastic hookah hoses ( you dont get any trash flying into your mouth ) and the atmosphere with nice music makes this place my favorite. Also, they serve Russian and some Soviet food over there. Must check this out, guy.

Good place, especially if youre looking to try a Russian cuisine in H-town. They had a Russian menu with the choose of tasty Borscht, hot Chiburekki, Manti dumplings, Olivier salad, Golubtsi (steamed cabbage rolls) and Lentil soup. The rest of the food is Mediterranean (kabob, shawarma, hookah, etc.). The price is OK, and waiters are friendly, but sometimes a little bit slow. Would definatley recommend this place to my Russian friends.

Tasty Food and Awesome Hookah at Mediterranean / Russian restaurant in Houston "Sindbad Cafe & Grill", I like the foods they serve. Pay little and get a lot with the best quality, at very high class indoor area with private boots. Its a good spot for couples to enjoy food and smoke Hookah. Overall nice place, delicious food, great Hookah. Try them.

They show tabooleh in the menu with falafel and hummus but they dont serve what in menu and the server has no time to answer ,shisha is not bad but when you ask for cup of water its not free owner from Kazakhstan as well servers girls its not bad but they are not friendly at all I wont visit again

Strange seating arrangement where you walk in and sit down where ever but service is good. Waitress let us move from a tiny table to a large wall booth when another party left. Would def go back. Avoid the apple flavored Shisha though, it tastes odd.

I would not go to this bar again. The hookah is not worth the price when I can mix it better at home, plus they wont let you smoke cigarettes inside. The only reason Im giving it two stars is because the seats were comfortable.

Its so hard to find borsch, vareniky, manty... The real taste of food. Were so happy that we found this place! Definitely will come here every time we are in Houston! P.S. The music is wonderful and not to loud.

All of the girls are such bitches. I do not recommend this place. Plus I got sick right after visiting here for a week and was landed in the hospital for an infection. Unclean place DO NOT RECOMMEND

The service is horrible. One person in our group didnt get her food until 30 minutesv after everyone else. Each meal was brought out separately. The chicken was very fatty. The shwarma was good.
