The facility itself is lovely to behold, fitted out in an airy, understated modern style, but the hard surfaces of the dining area make for a loud, echoey environment ill-suited for pleasant conversation. A look at the lunch menu brought even more disappointment, it being a list of overpriced and bland salad and sandwich options. I hoped for the best as I ordered the Cubano sandwich with the house chips for twelve dollars and change. The sandwich arrived promptly, accompanied by a serving of dark, crisp chips that covered a majority of the twelve dollar plate. Tasting a few confirmed that they were overcooked or were cooked in old oil, and posessed of an unpleasant burnt taste. The sandwich itself was filled with dry pork, some ham, and a decent amount of cheese. The advertised coarse grained mustard was present in body, if not in spirit. After having a bite, I noticed no hint of mustard flavor so I opened the sandwich to see what was amiss. While it was visually apparent that mustard had indeed been applied to the sandwich, it was either not flavorful enough or not applied in sufficient quantities to invoke the actual flavor of the condiment. Adding insult to injury, the sandwich was a greasy mess. It never ceases to amaze me when I am served a sandwich to which oil has been applied to the outside of the bread. As a friendly reminder to interested restauranteurs, the bread is there to keep your fingers from getting greasy. I might has well have eaten the sandwich fillings with my fingers. This sandwich made me sad. One of the staff at Dish Society decided to give the knife one final turn. Shortly before I left I noticed one of the employees eating those nasty chips right out of the common bin, one after the other, hand to mouth. At least someone likes the chips.

Came here for brunch while I was in town and Im sure a fan. Its a super cute place, has outdoor seating in the courtyard and one overlooking the street. There is indoor seating as well but not very many big tables for larger parties than 4. You can combine tables but that might be hard during a Sunday Brunch rush hour. You walk in and order at the counter and get a number and a table and they will bring your food to you. I got the chicken and biscuits and I loved it, I wish there was more gravy but the whole thing was delicious. I also go the pork belly hash and that was awesome! I would probably get that again for sure. The chicken and biscuits needed some eggs hahaha but both dishes were super delicious. Their pancakes are also really good, its a whole grain with a touch of cinnamon. I loved everything about this place! I would completely recommend this to anyone looking for a good brunch place and I will definitely be coming back and hopefully trying dinner or lunch next time. There is plenty of parking in the garage area. Id recommend coming earlier than 11:30 for Sunday Brunch or later than 1:30 if you want to beat the rush.

The food was great. Portions were good. Loved that if you opt for water, you can enjoy it with basil or other tasty herbs. So, why only 3 stars? First, it is very noisy, almost unenjoyably loud. There is nothing to buffer or absorb some of the noise. Second, we watched as the wait staff would wander around, attempting to deliver orders. Because you order before you are seated, the person delivering your meal has no idea where he or she should head to. We watched our meals come toward us, turnaround, head to the far eating area and then it almost went out to the other eating area and would have if my husband had not held our number up so the waitress could see it. We were guessing that it was our order. . Solutions? Not sure on the noise. The numbers...invest in taller number stands that stick up higher, so the staff knows where to deliver. Or figure out a system so they know where to go, so food is delivered immediately and hot. Fix those and Id have given it 5 stars. It has an upscale, but neighborhood feel.

Visited 2/20/16 The women in my family get together for brunch once a month, and this was the restaurant I chose. We like to visit restaurants that are unfamiliar to the entire group, and Dish Society was really great. If you dont have a problem ordering your food first, and then try to find an available table to dine, this will be a great spot for you. I had to get creative, but needless to say, because of the size of our party, we ended up sitting in the "VIP" section on the patio. The food came out rather quickly, was hot and fresh, and was WONDERFUL. Usually when dealing with a crowd of people & knowing you cant please everyone...surprisingly enough, everyone was very satisfied with what they ordered & there were no complaints. The wait staff was AMAZING, the lady at the register was patient & very knowledgeable of the menu, she offered suggestions & gave great feedback. Overall experience at Dish Society was AWESOME, thank you all so very much!

I usually order the Southwest scramble, my husband gets the traditional breakfast and we get our daughter the childrens Nutella French toast. Their coffee is great, their fresh juices are wonderful, and I love the spa water. Service is always fast and friendly, although finding a good seat before your food arrives can be a challenge. If you have kids, the fountain is a fun place to let them play around while waiting. I always say that when a business makes a mistake, that is the best time to see what theyre really made of, and I was recently very impressed with the way Dish Society handled an error. They forgot to bring out my Beignets and when I asked about it, they had run out. Manager refunded them and told me that they were running to the store for more ingredients. I was pregnant and had been craving them for a while, so I waited 15 minutes, and when they were ready, they gave them to me for free. So delicious!

Has designated free parking in the garage next door! I came with friends on a Sunday during brunch time and yet there were plenty of parking. Basically what we did was, have someone stay in a table we wanted to sit at and the rest of us went up to order. After you order and pay, you get a number and sit at a table. I was very surprised at how QUICK the service was! The line was a bit long to wait in but once your order is in, the food comes out quickly. We ordered pork belly hash and Nutella French toast! The pork belly hash was cooked to perfection, it wasnt too burned or too chewy. It was very delicious! The Nutella French toast was a bit sweet (be easy on the syrup) but very good as a dessert option (my sister and I shared). The price is pretty good for what we got, I would definitely recommend this place and come back again with other friends!

The more you learn about the American food industry and the more you watch disturbing documentaries like "Fed Up", the less you want to go out to eat for not knowing what convenient yet heinous processed ingredients youre paying someone else to feed you.... Thankfully, at Dish Society you feel like they care about what they are getting paid to serve you! Varied seasonal farm to table menu + organic fountain drinks from Austin for something different! Atmosphere is large open high ceiling modern concept, very cozy feel and also an outdoor patio. Also has at least 8 beers on tap! After my tirade on healthy eating, I must admit I ordered the Nutella French toast, which was delish . I will be back and curious to try happy hour - they had some exciting sounding cocktails!
