Our first trip out they did not have a kitchen and so we were not too impressed. We came out again recently and all I can say is wow. A very nice craft beer selection and some seriously awesome wings. These wings are huge and a good value. We plan to head down to Brews Brothers more often. We have been back several more time now and each time they impress more. The wings are still the stand out item on the menu. We love going with our dogs and sitting out under the cover and enjoying the people watching while drinking a good beer.

Was looking forward to visiting this place mistakenly thinking it was a brew pub. Apparently they "used to" brew their own beer but do not any more. The biggest oversight I think was that they dont even serve Galveston Island Brewing beer here. Even the chain restaurants around there have a tap of GIB. Two IPAs on tap and neither tasted very fresh. Place was dark and bartender seemed bothered by patrons while trying to do his tasks. Theyre getting equipment to brew again so might check back in a few years.

DO NOT GO HERE. Food was terrible, wait staff was slow and the manager was rude when we complained that our food was substandard, cold and greasy. They also DO NOT serve ice. So, if you are the designated driver, or dont drink, you are not welcome here according to the manager. He told us "We dont serve ice because we dont want our tables taken up by people that are not drinking beer." If you want bad food, rude staff and warm water, then this is the place for you.

We are big time into beer and decided to check this place out so we drove from Houston to Galveston just for this bar. When we walked in we were treated like we were invisible and sat at a table for 15 min and never got served or acknowledged. If they expect us to wait on ourselves, they need to make it clear and lose the menus on the tables. We ended up walking out and went back to better bars in Houston that actually provide service.

This place has a great selection of brews on tap at a reasonable price, excellent tasting yet slightly messy burgers and a very friendly & attentive staff. Has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere & almost "Cheers"-like vibe. Also, very important to note, that the ladies restroom was super clean & well lit and had a sitting area, which is rare for a bar. When we come back to Galveston we will definitely visit Brews Brothers!

Always a place I want to stop in at when on the Strand. Good food but the wings are what I and seemingly everyone orders. The beer is the best on the strand, if not the only good beer on the strand. They have an excellent tap list that changes every time I am in. Exactly what a good craft beer bar should be with the added bonus of good people watching out on the patio.

It was strange walking in on Sunday. You order at the Bar and take a # to the table. I had a water and had to go to the bar every time my glass was empty. I had the 50/50 burger thinking the bacon/hamburger sounded good. Not the greatest idea. I also had the Avocado fries. They forgot to make them. They were pretty good. But the whole experience was only OK.

Great food & Beer. A nice relief from what seems to be an endless variety of mainstream cheap restaurants that have low quality food and only care about profit. Brews Brothers is a great place to enjoy true craft beers and amazing food. Weather you have a large party or just want to get out on your own this is a place you will come back to over and over.

Great place to have a brew and enjoy the atmosphere. Tell the bartender what you would like in a beer and he will serve you up a perfect brew. I described what a perfect tasting beer would be and I was served the "No name blonde #9". Amazing! its the best beer Ive ever had! These guys are good! Fun place to go with friends! Give them a try!

This place... it isnt even worth the one star I gave. Took FOREVER to get our food. When it finally came, it was either wrong, switched up or they ran out of almost everything we had ordered. Then the waitress/bartender proceeded to lay the blame solely on the cook. ****ing terrible place and will not be going back!

The best selection of beers on the island, from local Texas brews to international specialties, like the Westmalle Tripel, brewed by the Trappist monks in Belgium. Try the "Mission from God burger", all the food here is good, but not quick. Hipster crowd, they have a good trivia/quiz on Wednesday nights.

Cool place with a comfortable atmosphere. A place for the beer enthusiast and probably for the beer snob, but nobody likes a snob. I didnt get our bartenders name but she was great and really sweet! Gives me a reason to come to Galveston more often.

If people would read, theyd know you have to go to the counter for service. The owner recognized my friends and I from out last visit. Best burgers Ive ever had. The fried avocado is amazing as well. Its a pokestop and a cool chill place.

Good burgers, good beer selection. The bartender I had strangely didnt know the beer characteristics. "I dont drink wheat beers" is an unexpected response. I expect at least familiarity with the menu even if you dont like the beers.

Great wings! Out of all bottled beer and had no ice. That was mostly up for by the Mexican Lager recommended and the wings. The pulled pork sandwich was interesting but not my favorite...the wings are phenomenal!
