Went here on 4/3/16 at 630 pm. Seated quickly though the restaurant was only a third filled. Wife and I already kind of knew we were wanting to order, but we inspected the menu and was pleased at the variety of choices. The wait staff was a bit disorganized and seemed to be running around with no clear intention. The waitress asked if we were ready to order, we indicated yes, she left us as to get an ordering device and disappeared. She then went over to another table and spent a lot of time helping a 4-top table with their selections. The manager (owner?) told us that she we get our order right away. I told him that she had asked us then went over to a different table. He then took our order and put it in. We were given water but was never asked if we wanted anything other to drink, we had to ask no less than 3 times for refills, but the strangest thing of the whole experience was the lack of concern for my wifes experience. They all seem to ignore her, they would come to refill my glass as I asked for water, but was oblivious as to her needs. I understand the cultural differences between American and Indian as I spent four years in India but this restaurant is not in Mumbai, its in Frisco. For the manager of this location, the proper dining service etiquette is: Greet, seat, menus, water, drink order, meal order; serve appetizers then main dishes, drink refills as necessary, reorder (dessert?) Check, payment, departure salutation. Please learn this, I rated you 3 solid stars. 1 for cleanliness, 1 for food quality, 1 for food/value. You lost one for atmosphere, a bit chaotic and disorganized and lost one star for staff friendliness and attention. Overall a satisfactory dining experience with room for improvement.

From the beginning, our experience was not very pleasant. When we walked in, we were not seated or greeted. I made my boyfriend take initiative and ask for a menu while we waited to be help. When we were finally seated, we immediately ordered our food because we already knew what we wanted. My boyfriend didnt get his waters until ten minutes later, and because I asked for no ice, I didnt get mine at all. They only had two people doing everything and were very busy- which I understand why it would take a while, but waiting 10-15 for water, then not even getting a refill is ridiculous. When we asked a second time, the same for water server just said "okay" and didnt acknowledge the fact that weve had to wait a very long time. Three take out orders went out BEFORE we even got our appetizer. The food was very good, but the service was not. Get more staff to make things work more efficiently, you have so much potential. Chicken 65- Really good taste, Chicken was very crunchy like it may have been over cooked Butter Chicken-Very good taste, curry to chicken ratio was 3:1

A little background before getting started. Ive actually been to the Paradise in Hyderabad. There is one near the Hi-Tech office and one in the downtown area where all the shopping exists. So Im going to base my biryani comparison based on this. Plus I know that this franchise has no connections. We did a to-go for lunch today. The owner was very pleasant. The space seemed nice. Ok, lets get to the food. The naan we order was very good. Large portions. Very fresh. The chicken tikka masala was very good. It wasnt too sweet. For some reason other restaurants make it sweet. The chicken lollipop was very good but it didnt look anything like the picture on the menu or like the one from Hyderabad. Now for the biryani... it was not what I expected. There was no masala in the rice. All the flavor was in the meat. We order the boneless chicken, goat and vegetable biryani. Im sorry but this wasnt anything close to Hyderabad biryani. Ive had much better in the area. Sorry but the biryani was a BIG MISS. I wont be coming here for that.

This place is a bummer. Have been twice in 6 months of time. I went only because it is paradise food chain. First time ordered chicken pepper fry to go. Got it like a gravy with big chunks of chicken definitely not the type they serve in a paradise Biryani pointe place. After a while picked courage and went again last week and ordered chicken dum Biryani and goat fry. Chicken dum Briyani - was just about average. Couldnt smell dum at all and think I was unlucky to get only 2 pieces in it for that price. Goat fry - the plate was full of course but 60-70% was bone and other curries. After am done dining Even the waitress thought there is still food there and offered a to go box. I had to tell her that they are all bones and she smiled. She even went and talked to chef about it. Chef didnt bother to come out and explain. Was a regular customer to irving paradise and humbly request this chef to learn and stand by the paradise quality. They might be still running with the paradise name guard only IMO.

Had ordered Bhel puri for the new years eve with very special instructions to separate the chutneys, so i can mix them up when i am ready to eat. This was a party order. I had made sure the order was taken as ordered multiple number of times. Guess what i get? The chutneys are mixed in the bhel puri and the guy gives me a lecture advising why HE should mix the chutney and not ME. Well, if you cant make a dish for a party as was requested, then i dont see a reason to comeback to you. By the way the bhel puri was very bland, no taste or flavor. Avoid it!

I ordered an Egg Biryani. I got Bracolli biryani having eggs on top of it. I hate that horrible food. Are you guys cooking Biryani in oil? or pouring oil into the biryani? Oh my god. Half of the bottom of the to-go box is filled with oil. Felt like screwed my dinner myself. Finally, the onions that are deep fried is like coal. They were fried like that and any one can see it. Dont you guys feel any responsibility before packing such food.? Many of my friends gave the same feedback but I thought I should try myself. Learnt my lesson now.

We did a to-go today. Took an additional 30 min for the food to arrive. Paneer Butter Masala had a lot of food color and lacked taste, the Palak Paneer had no taste of Palak and it was full of cream and Daal had un-cooked texture and also tasted same. Paneer Kulcha, Naan, and Chilli Naan was not good either, all were too thick and rubbery. I am giving 1 star only for the Tandoori roti that was well cooked. The only reason we could all eat because of the home made Onion salad.

I took two chicken biryani for carryout with $13 for each plate and all I got in the order is rice with just one small piece Of chicken. Just waste of money . I also ordered desert double ka meet ha and it was awful not sure how many months old was it and was having strange smell I it. We throwed it evenly as we dont want to get sick eating the rotten desert. Will never going back again and do not recommend to go to this location Frisco.
