Ice cream: hand crafted, unique, and always the right amount of flavors. They change flavors every month so you dont get tired of the same old flavors (except they always have chocolate chocolate and vanilla bean) they always have a good variety, theres always something for everyone, whether you like fruity flavors, weird combinations, or classic flavors they even let you sample them before deciding which one you want My favorite so far has been BERRY BASIL and TEA TIME :) Sometimes they do fun events with food trucks or with other local places. They had these macaron ice cream once, and it was literally the best thing in the world, it was literally heaven in my mouth When there isnt a flavor Im interested in I always go for the chocolate chocolate. I usually dont like chocolate ice cream, Im more of a vanilla girl. But the chocolate ice cream at melt is the only chocolate ice cream i could eat everyday. Its rich and not too sweet. Its perfect. Decor: super cute and hipster-y with their cute polaroids, its great for cute dates, family fun, or just group hangouts. Outside theres a chalkboard you can draw on Service: Super friendly with happy smiling faces, where you cant help but have a huge smile on your face Conclusion: let your heart MELT with the friendly service and yummy ice cream

That waffle cone smell... It almost makes me want to stay inside while enjoying Fort Worths most inventive ice cream. But between their spacious patio and the awesome micropark across the street, it almost seems like a missed opportunity to sit in. The ice cream here is outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality - Ive seen small ice cream operations charge twice as much. And their vegan options are amazing (disclaimer: Im not vegan). They change up their offerings regularly, so there is always reason to come back, but I definitely got the Turkish Delight three times in a row after their grand reopening at this more pedestrian-friendly location. The line is always out the door (maybe they should install mist fans outside - does that require a permit?) but thats hardly reason to drop a star from this review. Oh, and you can buy pints for later. Or now.

Order the Out-of-this-Swirled. Nuff said. If you like ecstasy in a cup, order this stuff. Dont stop at the single scoop, either. You would be cheating yourself out of the best thing youve put in your face since you were 9 and ate a whole box of your moms Valentine chocolate. I had to stop walking and sit down because I was so overcome by the assault on my taste buds offered by each creamy spoon full. Im having a physical reaction right now as I am thinking about it - heart racing, mouth watering, short of breath. I wish I was exaggerating. It. Is. That. Good. And the staff is awesome. Cant forget that! But the ice cream... mmmm, the ice cream. Yeah.

Myself and my co-workers were walking here after having lunch. I had to try it since I had heard it was good. When I walked in, I didnt know what to expect. The inside was homey on the inside, the outside patio was a nice place to enjoy my ice cream. Their flavor are on the eclectic side and I didnt really know where to start. I ended up with Cup of Texas. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was also quite a nice touch letting people try free samples of the different flavors as well. Prices were decent to boot.

Excellent homemade ice cream, delicious specials, wonderful service. The lines can get rather long in the evenings (people lined up outside), so plan ahead if youre in a hurry. That said, the line moves fairly quickly. Servers are all sweet and extremely helpful. Havent met a snippy or impatient employee here yet, theyve all been nice and accommodating. They also have some tasty non-dairy options (mainly coconut-milk-based). Try their sundae with the homemade honey candy, its fantastic!

As a visitor strolling west Magnolia street, it was the cuteness of the shops exterior drew us in, with its bold black and white strips and bright yellow accents. Inside I adored the honeycombed counter tiles and bright shiny white subway tiles back splash. My ice cream was as yummy as the decor! I had the "tea time" which I highly recommend (made with Earl Grey tea and lavender). The tea and lavender flavors are a great combination, and the lavender is subtle and lovely.

Reasonable prices-I suppose. I went on a hot Saturday. Employee told customers to form a line outside but sign says keep door close. No one went outside. Employee gave a "stank" face to customers. A bit funny but rude. This business has limited space when everything in Texas is big. So give your Texas customers a chance. Perhaps come up for a better system when long lines begin to form . Product is good for a once a month . Also it would be nice to have wifi for customers.

Magnolia Ave has some great food options and this is one of them. Melt ice cream is delicious and you can tell that its hand made. Service is always friendly. I also like that they partner with and incorporate ingredients from other local businesses. Of the standard flavors chocolate is my familys favorite and from their rotating options we look for black berry cobbler, whiskey breakfast, and cookies n cream.

Melt is quickly becoming a Fort Worth staple, one of those places that you excitedly tell all of your out-of-town friends about and bring them to when they come. With flavors that cater to all different tastes, this gourmet ice cream shop frequently runs out of flavors and, at times, has to close its door because they are all out! So hurry up and get there before they run out.

We were looking forward to trying out Melt since Ive heard so much about it. As soon as we walked in we were yelled at by the employees, there was so much chaos, we waited for about 10 minutes then finally left. We didnt get a chance to try the ice cream. There was no point in us staying somewhere when we werent even greeted but yelled at. So much for being a "happy" place :/

This is one of our favorite places to visit to satisfy our sweet tooth when in downtown Fort Worth. Great atmosphere with friendly people always helping you out. Their menu changes with the seasons and all of their ice cream is made there in the shop. Salt Lick is my favorite and their new sundaes are amazing! Definitely a spot to check out and support local businesses!

Im allergic to dairy, so its great to frequent a place with vegan (dairy free) options. I like that they have several regular, set ice creams and then rotate the others based on seasonal ingredients. The sundaes, Taco Tuesdays, and other specials are always fun and yummy, plus they hold frequent community events. I love that they partner with local businesses!

Loved it! The Pumpkin and Whiskey flavors they had were amazing, but seasonal so I dont know if you can try them all the time. You can however sample to your hearts content and they are happy to let you do so! The place smells amazing with the home made cones, and the few extra toppings they have to add on are a treat. Love the place and highly recommend!

Ice cream was very good! I had chocolate and it was creamy. Has a lot of outdoor space, including a roof top patio. I waffle cones were good, but fell apart before we finished out ice cream (we had two scoops so maybe the cones were only meant for one). Other than getting ice cream everyone once the cones fell into shambles, it was a good experience!
